These pet parents are excellent communicators and very direct. Everything was as expected. Additionally Denali is a gorgeous dog with just the right combination of energy, beautiful soul, and playfulness. I adored watching him play with other dogs in the dog run, or doing tricks with him, or petting him when he was conked out on the floor. My only regret is not being to let him loose in Fort Greene park so that he could run freely with other dogs. But, I hear, the pet parents are working on it, and Denali is still young so there you are.
I took care of Milo and Honey for about 2 weeks, and it was such a lovely experience! They are absolutely adorable, and so affectionate. It´s a real treat to hang out with cuddly puppies. And they are really easy to take care as well, and have their walking fields nearby, which is very convenient. Primala and Waj, her husband, are lovely. Very welcoming and kind, and they brought me chocolate from their trip :) <3 They have made me feel right at home, and they have provided a very thorough guide, that helped me take care of the puppies. Their home is very beautiful and comfortable, fully equipped with anything you might need, and the neighbourhood is nice and safe, with shops and the train station just a few minutes away. I´d love pet sitting for them again, and I highly recommend it!
If an opportunity arises to care for Tex and Julie and Jason’s home, we would highly recommend this sit. With the easy instructions provided, Tex was easy to care for and will melt your heart. In the folds of the Rocky Mountains, Canmore is a stunning mountain town with a lovely, vibrant community. Whilst Canmore is cold at times, the home is cosy, beautifully appointed and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Thanks so much to this lovely family for inviting us into their home to care for their lovely pooch, Tex. Loved every minute.
**A beautiful time by the sea** We had a wonderful time at Bee’s & Peter’s bright, clean and cosy cottage. Their cat Oryx is gorgeous and loves her treats and our girls adored playing with her and her many toys. Communication with Bee was excellent throughout, and although we did not meet in person, our pre video chat was lovely and her house guide was clear and straightforward and we felt very welcome in her home. It was also so very kind of Bee & Peter to get some bits in for us for our first day & leave us a night light for our girls bedroom. Bee’s home is located very close to the beach which was lovely and there are plenty of shops close by. The weather was gorgeous during our stay and we enjoyed a lovely afternoon in Eastbourne (only 18 minutes drive away). The scenery on our drive was simply outstanding! Norman the Gecko was easy to look after (only having to spray his tank in the morning) and we enjoyed watching him emerge in the early evening and start exploring his tank. As fellow plant lovers, we truly appreciated Bee’s plants both in the home and in the garden. We looked after Vanda - The Orchid by misting her roots daily and it was nice watering the outdoor plants as we had warm weather during our stay. This was definitely a 5* star sit, thank you having for us!
The owners, Leisa and Rhett, are fantastic and left the house in nice shape for us! Sophi, the cutest dog we’ve seen in quite some time, is a real blast to be around, energetic, and always up for a walk on the beach :-) we had so much fun there and got to enjoy the sites of the VA Beach boardwalk along with numerous great restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend that any potential sitter give the house and Sophi a go, really really great sit :-)
We enjoyed our time in Albuquerque. Amazing views surround the spacious home that’s beautiful, well organized and clean. The three dogs, Dizzy, Danejorus and Lexi were all sweethearts. We arrived the night before the sit began so we could meet the dogs and start to learn the established routine. Midday and afternoon outings were fit in to visit the local attractions; bike trail, Sandia Tramway, and Petroglyph National Monument, a museum, new restaurants. Any shopping you could wish for is nearby. The weather got colder than we expected in November. There’s a wide temperature range throughout the day/night. We have more to do in ABQ, so we may return sometime. Thank you Barbara and Charles for sharing your home a dogs with us.
