We were SO LUCKY to get Buddy and Sue to look after our 2 cats. They are kind, thoughtful, trustworthy and amazing people. The house was spotless (cleaner than how we left it). The cats loved them too and I think they miss them! We hope to have them again in the future!
Darius was great with instructions, info and very responsive during our sit. The location can’t be beat, it was wonderful to be able to explore a new part of Seattle. Midna the cat was a delight and very large delight! So much character and personality but really low maintenance and chill. We would definitely sit for Midna again.
Taggart & Haggis have beautiful temperaments & are a pleasure to take care of. Fiona is a fantastic host, great communication & good, clear instructions. A lovely seaside home, highly recommended, I would love to sit again in the future.
Michèle was kind and welcoming, and so was her dog. As soon as I arrived, Fiona came to me with a smile and a wagging tail. I had such a lovely time with her. I also loved the house. It is located in a quiet street of a great Los Angeles area, with greenery and neighbors walking their dogs. There are also plenty of grocery shops on the Main Street around the corner. It was a perfect match for my needs.
We had a lovely stay at Marge's cozy home outside Edinburgh. We arrived a day early to meet Marge and her cats, and were welcomed with a lovely dinner and all the info we needed to care for Beau and Ella. It’s a short walk to the bus stop - one bus to the heart of Edinburgh, which is an amazing city! Marge's cats, Beau and Ella, are adorable. We absolutely fell in love with them! Beau is more outgoing and warmed up to us quickly and Ella is the shy one, but eventually came out of her shell. They love to play, especially Beau, even bringing his favorite toy upstairs to us in the morning. Ella likes to watch his antics, jumping in once in a while. All lots of fun and very entertaining. Both cats follow a meal schedule, and Marge had their food organized and listed, which makes caring for them straightforward. Communication with Marge was great before and during the sit and we appreciated all the tips and information she gave us. We would definitely return!
Alex and Izzy are a great young couple, Alex welcomed us warmly and showed us Arlo's routine. Our goal on this "Sit" was to hike the Alps with Arlo and I believe it was a great success for all of us. The apartment in Le Chable is modest compared to posh Verbier and suited us just fine. The chalet's upstairs bedroom ceiling height is a bit low but us being short : ) didn't bother us but could be more of an issue for tall people. Arlo is a fantastic dog, Alex has trained him very well. We thoroughly enjoyed morning and evening hikes around town and the day hikes in the mountains are fantastic! We found a car to be helpful to get to other areas but there's plenty of trails available without one. We also used the gondola to take Arlo up to hike which he was fine with. Arlo is excellent off the lead which we did a few times and he really enjoys. He loves walking thru the little streams and comes back to you easily. We kept him on lead many times because of our responsibility with someone else's pet, we want to be cautious but he could surely be off lead most of the time if you're comfortable with that. There are many fences in the area and we found out after the fact that some are electrified and Arlo bumped into one unbeknownst to us. We feel terrible so want to warn others. If you're looking for a fantastic dog to hike with in a beautiful part of Switzerland, this is it!
Sheila and Sandra are amazing, but Darcey is the star of the show! We had a wonderful time caring for little miss Darcey, who's a cuddle bug with lots of energy. She's great on walks and we took her everywhere with us... all the parks and to London several times. We're going to miss her. The boys--Miso and Skye-- are two beautiful cats who are very easy to please. Feed them and they are happy. The house itself has all the amenities you could want, is right on the bus line, and in walking distance of lots of grocery stores, coffee shops, and interesting restaurants. The nearby parks are lush and green, which make it a pleasure to walk Darcey and explore. We lived this sit and have made new friends in Sheila and Sandra. We would go back again in a heartbeat.

Best pet sitter in the Portland metro area bar none. Diane has a passion for pets, and unlike some pet sitters she cares for special needs pets as well. My kitty is insulin dependent, and anytime we are leaving town we can trust to Diane to take care of him and make sure he gets all his medicine and insulin. I don't trust many people with my pets, but I trust Diane with mine. She has a passion for pets, and her kennel free boarding for dogs is top-notch. Any time I have to leave town, I can rest easy knowing our pets are well cared for.

We took our dogs for an "evaluation" before we boarded them. To see if they "passed", they told us that our German Shepard totally "shut down" when she was with other females. Didn't even try putting her with males. So they (two Chihuahuas had other issues" They never once suggested that the get German Shepherd should not be near our beloved and therapy dog Morgan. Who was obviously a female....I told them that the German Shepherd and Morgan can't be together. They claimed they were dog professionals...the very next day, our German Shepherd killed our precious Morgan, in 8 seconds....thanks....
This is the second time I’ve boarded my dogs with Lynda. I have confidence they will be safe and loved just like at home. I appreciate her great communication during their stay when I call to check in, and highly recommend her as an awesome dog sitter.

My dog came home happy and exhausted after his first weekend. Just Like Home cares, is fun for my dog and reasonably priced for me.
They do no offer the services that are advertised on their website, where clear sizes and descriptions are printed. When I brought this up, the reply was "No, Thank You" and hung up, not offering any explanation. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

I had never boarded my dogs before. Had always had family take care of them while I was gone. So when a trip came up that I had no other choice but to board, I worried if I could ever find a place similar to my own family. Luckily I found Denise Woods, who owns Pampered Pet Lodge in Damascus. She took care of my two show Corgis like they were her own. I chose the indoor living and they thrived there. I came home to both of my boys happy to see me but I knew that they were not frantic to leave. In fact, they took more hugs and pets from them before we parted. There is no other place I would recommend but Pampered Pet Lodge. A++ facility. She is caring attentive, knowledgeable, communicative. Texts are answered immediately. A wonderful feeling for an owner to leave our beloved pets in such good hands.
The only worry you may have leaving your dog with Denise is that your dog may not to go home. I had used other boarding facilities for my German Shepherd that ranged from ok to"never again" so when I found Denise it was a God send. In the past I hated leaving him and never felt like I was fully relaxed while away. With Denise I got daily updates and pictures and when I picked him up he was so happy and well cared for and it was obvious that he loved her and she loved him..
We are so very lucky to have found Denise, who has made her home a home for our fur babies while we are away. We have two small dogs that are older and have gotten to be very picky about how they spend their day. Denise is truly a dog whisperer and from the moment she met them, she was very patient with them getting used to their new space. Denise has built a lovely kennel (with a TV!), covered outdoor play area, and has a beautiful property that gives our dogs fresh air. She was wonderful about sending pics and updates throughout the week. It was the first time I went on vacation and felt calm about being away from my dogs. If you have a special needs, senior, or just a fur baby that needs extra attention and TLC, I couldn’t recommend Denise more.
If I could give 10 stars I would!! We are new to town and were nervous about finding a new place to board our dog. I was able to schedule a quick tour prior to boarding. Denise checked in daily and took THE BEST care of our dog. I feel like she treated him as if he was her own. You can tell she truly cares for all of the animals she boards. Thank you so much for taking care of our fur baby Denise!!!!
Five days before Easter, we found ourselves making last second arrangements to attend an out-of-state funeral. Finding someone to care for two large dogs, five days before Easter, was going to be a challenge. On the recommendation of a friend, we contacted Denise, who first confirmed that she had the space to take the dogs, then guided us through her intake process. (She can handle several dogs at a time, so she has to be sure that all the animals have all their shots, etc.) On arrival, Denise showed me her setup, including her gate and fence system (so there are no escapes). We then received daily videos of our dogs playing and interacting in the outdoor area of her setup. They were clearly happy and content! Highly recommend this place.
Our cat Charlie developed conjunctivitis in both eyes a few days before we were set to head out of town for 3 nights. I knew getting the drops into his eyes every 8 hours wasn’t going to be possible for our friend who normally comes by after work to check on our 2 cats on the rare occasions we are gone, and the place we were going didn’t allow pets. That left me scrambling to find a boarding place that had availability, would administer medications, and was reasonably priced. Never having had to board a pet before, I was worried about finding a place I’d feel comfortable leaving our cat with, especially when he wasn’t feeling well (and with a stranger in an unfamiliar place with other animals)! But Deneese quickly put me at ease and I felt reassured that he would be in capable, caring hands. When we dropped Charlie off, since she had other cats boarding in catios in her cat room, she set him up with everything he could need in her guest bathroom. This way he wouldn’t be as stressed because he’d have the room to himself. Deneese texted me regularly with updates, and photos and videos to show how Charlie was doing. She made sure he got his eye drops on schedule, and also gave him his oral medicine (Prozac for anxiety) every night. She visited him in “his bathroom” frequently to give him attention, pets, love and treats, and by the time we picked him up on the 4th day, he had really settled in and warmed up to her. I highly recommend Deneese for boarding your pets! She is very thorough, accommodating and attentive. Her rates are very reasonable and she doesn’t add on extra fees per medication dose, and she is very flexible with drop off days/times (it was so nice to be able to pick Charlie up Sunday evening and not have to leave him there until Monday morning, unlike many of the other boarding places I checked into). She not only pampers your fur baby, she pampers the owner, too, by making sure they know their pet is being well-cared for so they can relax and actually enjoy their time away instead of worrying!
Just recently boarded my two dogs for their first time ever and our first experience with Denise at Pampered Pet and there is nothing but good things to say. We were probably more nervous than our dogs to leave them for week, but Denise was very responsive and sent a lot of pictures and videos. Flexible pick up times made it so easy to grab them on our way home from the airport. Overall, the experience was 10/10.
We have left our two Aussies with Denise four or five times now, for as few as four days and as many as 18 days. This facility is unlike any other and Denise has a special way with our dogs - and all the wonderful animals on their beautiful hobby farm. She limits the number of dogs she has at any time. When they have been the only two, she lets them stay in her house with her and the family so they get even more attention. They were never "other dog friendly" until Denise started caring for them, but now they will play with the other guests happily and that has translated to being more friendly with the other dogs in our neighborhood. She stays in contact when we are gone, via text, and we often get pics and videos of the dogs having fun on the farm. Denise goes above and beyond our expectations and hopes. This last long trip, the dogs ran out of their prescription food (our poor planning) and she stood in line to get a prescription for their special food and purchased another bag for them. She also noticed a nodule growing on one of the dogs and pointed it out to us so we can go get her veterinary treatment. The worst thing we can say about Pampered Pet Lodge @ Dutch Heritage Farms is that we sometimes worry that our doggies will not want to come home with us! We have been regularly boarding dogs for 12 years and this is by far, the best home away from home they have ever had! Mark & MJ
Denise was fabulous with our "reactive" dog who is around 8 years old and had never been in a kennel over nite..she spent 2 nites and due to Denise's care and attention did just fine..i would highly recommend her
Denise and Pampered Pet Lodge are wonderful! We have four dogs with very different needs - one who is elderly with a chronic health condition and three rescues who are very active. Their care is complex and Denise has risen to the occasion. She provides safe, loving care, tending fully to the medical needs of our old gir.. When our pups stay with Denise, we have total confidence that they are in the very best hands. We highly recommend Denise and PPL!
Kathryn has taken care of my cat Gibson on two separate occasions. She has come twice a day to administer medications and feed him. She always sends pictures and videos so I can see he is happy and well cared for. It is wonderful to have someone who I can trust and count on.
