What an absolute dream sit! And the dreamiest part of all? Well obviously that would be the super dreamy Maisie! 😍 Clearly you can see that the house is beautiful from the photos but as my Mum will tell you, all I could talk about running up to and during the sit… was Maisie! 🤩 As I live only an hour down the road from Clare and Maisie, I offered to visit beforehand so we could all meet properly in person. This is always a good thing to do if possible as it enables you all to get a much better sense if the fit is right for all before accepting each other for the sit. This also offered the opportunity for me to join them for a walk which I find so helpful as of course, every pup is different so for me to get a sense of how they are both in and out of the house is really important before taking the sit on. On arrival for our initial ‘hello’, I instantly felt SO welcomed by Clare and right at home in both her company and house. The house is even more beautiful in person. I adore Clare’s interior style and found the whole home to be so very comfortable. Especially the bed I slept in! Actual cloud! Communication with Clare was so easy, clear (and lovely!) right from the start and especially while she was away. She was always quick to respond to questions which was so helpful. I never had to ‘just figure stuff out’ which is only a good thing when you’re looking after someone else’s furry family 👍🏻 Maisie was literally a dream to hang out with. She of course, LOVES a good walk and was good as gold when off the lead. She’d have a little wander very near to me and whenever I’d wander where she’d gone I’d find her plodding happily at my heel. I’d highly recommend a wander up on Offa’s Dyke for the VIEWS and a plod along the river at Rhewl for the tranquility. Maisie will happily join you for both and SO much more including of course, ALL the snuggles! So thank you Clare and Maisie for being AMAZING hosts and for making me feel so welcome in your beautiful home. And above all, thank you Clare for trusting me to look after your beautiful girl! I feel like I’ve very much made two fabulous new friends and I can’t wait to see you guys again soon for my next sit with Maisie in March! I literally can’t wait! 🥰
Set in an ideal location close to amenities, (walking distance to Guildford) supermarkets and lovely walks. Maria's home is welcoming and cosy, clean and tidy, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. Maria is the most lovely person to sit for. She instantly made us feel very welcome as we sat down to a meal and wine she had prepared for us. She's easy going, laid back and was even nice enough to take care of our laptops and camper for us while we went abroad for 1 month. Monty is the cutest dog we've sat for. He is very loving, gentle and playful, he's absolutely no bother to care for. He never moans or demands anything. He enjoys his own company as much as yours. His diet is simple to follow with no special needs, he's excellent on walks doesn't pull and is great off lead. We loved taking him on walks and having the best snuggles. We miss him lots already. Hopefully we'll get to sit for him again in the future.
