We had such a wonderful experience at Lisa and Tom's beautiful home! They were so careful to make sure everything was set up extra specially for us and made this a real home away from home. The kitchen is such a pleasure to cook in, the large, relaxing interior flowed out into beautifully kept garden and patio spaces, our only decision was which space to relax or work in. The two doggies are truly the best trained and behaved I've ever experienced and we bonded with them immediately. These two charming, lovely dogs instantly accepted us as part of the family. The fish are super easy to care for, and we found it a calming ritual to feed them everyday. Keeping the back garden, lawn and potted plants was a breeze. Lisa is extremely communicative and prepared for all eventualities, all contacts and trouble-shooting were detailed in her guide, which made US feel well looked after as we took care of her pets and home. The area is an upscale suburb and people are very friendly and neighbourly. You'll be close to everything you may need shopping-wise, and a 5 minute drive to Newport Beach, Balboa Island, the most beautiful ocean sunsets and a great, soft wave to surf on. If you are craving a safe, beautiful, comfy place to land, this is it. We were coming off of a very busy year and a few weeks of travel. Staying at Lisa and Tom's place with their loving pets was a welcome respite.
The house-sitting at Rónán / Fotis place was excellent. Their house is lovely, fully-equiped and very well-located, in the center of Madrid. And their cat, George, is adorable. I loved him! He is so cute, talkative and funny. I got confidence with him very quickly. I really enjoyed the stay and to take care of George. A very high recommend sit!
Adam was super communicative and overall is such a sweet person. Bibi is the pinnacle of joy and sweetness. She has so much love to give and it was a pleasure getting to care for her this week & stay at Adam’s place.
Great sit! Joanna was an amazing host. Made me feel very welcome & left clear instructions. Went above & beyond to make me feel welcome including taking me out for lunch, introducing me to local family who could assist if I needed anything, collecting me from the bus depot & taking me to a supermarket for a supplies shop. Tinker & Belle are both sweethearts who love snuggles. House is lovely, clean & has everything you need. Neighbours are friendly too. Bus stop is very close although busses only run during the day not into the evening or on Sundays. Thanks so much for having me Joanna 😊
