Sheridan was an awesome person with a great heart. This shows, more than anything, in her willingness to bring happiness and a warm life to Winston. Winston is a very special dog who has taught us so much. Winston cannot hear, but he enjoys the world around him fully, more fully, at times, than us. We are so lucky to have shared this time with this gentle new friend. At home he cuddles up to us in peaceful sleep and from time to time gets up to ask us to play in such an accomodating way, just wonderful. We had fantastic walks and explorations of Cambridge with Winston, of course we had to keep him on the leash because we would be unable to call him back otherwise (a very long leash, which is the perfect balance of play, freedom, and safety). We know Sheridan has her magical ways of allowing him to go off-leash by ways of her special connection with him. And I'm sure she will have prepared him to go off-leash with others as well very soon. But either way Winston was incredibly gentle with other dogs and, although, he's very strong and sometimes wants to run and play, he realizes very quickly that we are holding the leash and accommodates us with his gentle ways again. It was an incredible treat to spend time with this strong yet gentle new friend. His interaction with the world and the beings around him is remarkable, and if you ever get the chance to spend time with him, he will have shown you what accomplishment and bliss really are. Sheridan, what you have done to allow this life for Winston is absolutely beautiful, we know Winston would not know this world and love it as he does without you. Heidi's family have been perfect hosts, they have given us absolute freedom to have use of their house, attentive to all the things we might need and leaving a welcome pack in the app explaining in all detail everything necessary both for the care of Willow and information about other important aspects of the home. We took care of Willow for 13 days, and we have to say that it has been a fantastic experience. Willow is a beautiful dog, very, very intelligent, affectionate, active and stubborn, 😂. (Be careful where you leave your shoes or you will find them in the garden. 😂) The family house is very well located, and this allowed us to discover and enjoy every day the surroundings with Willow, fantastic parks to have long walks in, local shops, coffee shops, the proximity of the train station allows you to reach London bridge in 15/20 minutes. Willow came with us to London on the train and she had no problem. The park that is next to her house is a wonderful space from which to watch the sunsets, have a coffee from the coffee truck, and sit and enjoy spectacular views of London. Thanks for trusting us.
Amazing. This is the word to describe my week in Sainte-Valière. Pamela is an extremely kind woman who knows how to receive. Her house, the outbuilding and the garden are sublime. The dogs had a hard time with his departure: they cried a lot. They needed time to adapt to trust me and for us to share moments of complicity. The surroundings of the city are perfect for walking them. The vineyards, the neighborhood, everything is superb if you like kindness and wide open spaces. You will need to have a car if you want to come and visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and also l'Auberge de la Selette a very good restaurant about 6min from Pamela's house, if you do like good meat. Pamela's friends are just as nice: Andrew, David, Anne-Marie....I didn't have the opportunity to meet Paulette but know that you will be very well looked after during your stay. Pamela was very responsive to messages and left me clear instructions for taking care of the girls. Thanks to Pamela and her dogs Omira and Chipie for trusting me. Ps: Be aware of the mosquitoes!
Cora and Teddy are adorable, affectionate dogs, who are easy to look after and let you know when it is time to eat like clockwork. They love a walk, but being older we took it at their pace. Sue has a lovely home a stones throw from a beautiful park with a lake and loads of ducks, geese and a swan. From here there are walks through woodlands and along the canal where there are a few locks, including a very deep narrow lock that runs under the road, which was fascinating to watch in action. Town and the train station is a half hour walk, with a local shop just 1 minute away. Thanks for trusting us with Cora and Teddy. We loved their company.
Millie and Maisie were an absolute pleasure to care for, very easy to care for. Millie and Maisie are beautiful , intelligent and loving cats who appreciated the occasional tummy rub, bird watching and just hanging out. Due to the age difference between the cats , Megan had explained that there may be a bit of grumpiness from Millie, but both cats seemed settled & comfortable with each other enough , although they typically didn't hang out together a huge deal. The area of Clapham is great for a nosy around the interesting independent shops/cafes and the oasis of Clapham common is nearby, fab for a lunchtime stroll/sit in the sunshine. It was a very pleasant housesit with fantastic company from the chatty cats x
Noelle was kind and instructions were pretty straightforward. Mango is absolutely adorable and has the sweetest demeanor and I really enjoyed spending time w her! This was a very comfortable sit .

She is really conscientious, on wet days she makes sure to towel dry them when dropping them back home & always makes sure they have clean water after their walks. She is really flexible, often taking them out with very short notice! I highly recommend Sarah!!
Sarah is amazing! She is a real dog person, professional, knowledgeable, and adaptable. We would have anyone else looking after our dog, who she has looked after since he was a puppy. She has a background as a veterinary nurse, and cares for other animals on her farm. Our dog cannot wait to leave when she comes to collect him, and he loves staying with when we are away.
Sarah is amazing. She really does deliver a professional service. We have two ex-hunting rescue dogs who are lovely but both have their quirks - she looks after them brilliantly and they absolutely adore their time with her. She's walked them regularly for the past year and even brings some of her dogs over for "play dates" so that ours can have some doggie social fun in a safe setting at home. She's mega reliable, super professional and always gets back to you promptly. She has even helped us out when we've been stuck and has generally been a godsend. I am v picky with who looks after our two boys, but will happily recommend her 100%. If you are at all thinking of getting any help with looking after any of your pets then she is definitely the answer!
Have recently started sending our 20 month old pup to Sarah for extra socialisation and some additional training around livestock and we couldn't be happier. Sarah was recommended to us by a friend, has great general knowledge of dogs as well as being a trained vetinary nurse gives us absolute faith our dog is in good hands for the day. Seen a great improvement in her already and would not hesitate to recommend.

Dijon, my 3 year old border collie, loves going to stay with Kiffy. I am so paranoid about leaving my pup but I always leave Dijon at Nola & Friends knowing Dijon is in the best care and is having an absolute ball! Kiffy is one of the very few we trust to look after our dogs. She is treating all dogs like her own and they are so loved when staying with her. Kathryn is absolutely amazing with our two dogs Frank and Olive. She clearly really cares and looks after all the dogs with love. Whether Kathryn has them for a day or a week we always feel completely at ease knowing they are with her and getting well looked after! Both dogs squeak with excitement when we turn the corner onto Kathryn’s road which always makes me smile because I know that means they don’t feel anxious about going to stay there one bit! They love all the cuddles and attention they can get when they’re there. We always get regular picture updates when they are staying which is lovely. Hugo has been going to Kiffy since January and I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough ! Hugo always has the best time going to a variety of new places, having lots of adventures and even working on training. Ilse was a wonderful find. She’s absolutely marvelous with my elderly cat, who is scared of strangers. She is kind, thoughtful, completely reliable, easy to contact and has been very flexible. We really appreciate the care that Ilse provides to our cats when we're away. She's very conscientious and checks up on the house at the same time too. Our cats can be a bit cold but this hasn't been a problem for Ilse, she's been lovely with them and great at keeping us updated too
Have recently used Thame Tails to care for my 2 cats whilst we were on holiday. Isla was very friendly, and visited us prior to our trip, to better understand our requirements. This was very reassuring and meant we could go away without worrying about whether our pets would be ok or not. Isla kept us updated whilst we were away and overall provided a very good service. I would use her again in the future.

We could not be happier with Emily. She watched our dog and brother in law's puppy for the night and brought them along to our wedding for photographs. Our dog is a part of our family and so having her at the wedding was incredibly important to us and so finding Emily was one of the best pieces of planning we did for the wedding. She was reliable and incredibly professional. We knew we were leaving the dogs in very safe hands. She left the house exactly as she found it after staying over. I 100% recommend her as an over night dog sitter as well as for weddings.
Our boys, Harley and Leo having been walked by various members of the Domino Pet Care team over the last 5 years. We have been using Domino's Pet Care for the last two years and they have been terrific! They have proven to be reliable, flexible and very easy to contact. As a shift worker this has been very important and they have always managed to make arrangements for us. Our spaniel is a rescue dog, but Domino's were great with him and walked him with other suitable dogs. He obviously loves his walks and nothing will stop him running over and seeing Emily or Ian if we see them out and about. A great service all-round and one that I would recommend to anyone needing pet care
We have used Domino's petcare for 18 months and they took the best care of our dog. She is quite timid and requires extra attention, but this was no problem and they made us feel safe in the knowledge that she was being taken care of so we could return to the office! We had Emily look after our dog Bruce when we had our wedding reception. We usually rely on family to look after him if we’re away, but on this occasion we couldn’t. From the first contact Emily was friendly and was prompt at replying. The prices are very reasonable, even on a weekend. Karen has been waking Reggie for about 6 months and we couldn’t be happier! It was initially supposed to be just a few weeks due to work but it’s extended way beyond that now, despite this she’s been so accommodating and considerate to our circumstances throughout! Reggie loves his walks and we get constant feedback and love the pictures on insta. Previous dog walkers have been strict with the 1hr door to door policy which means sometimes Reggie only got 30-40 mins in the fields but with Karen it’s always an hour at least. Ultimately we feel safe and happy with Karen and would recommend her to anyone!

We recently used Karen while we were on holiday to walk our Bernese Mountain Dog & elderly Jack Russell Terrier. It was a pleasure to deal with Karen from the off, at our first meeting Karen really listened to our needs and put our minds at rest that she would be able to accommodate our requirements. Karen was very professional throughout with all relevant paperwork and contracts in place, which again left us feeling positive and assured. While we were away Karen kept in touch with photos, video’s and ‘pupdates’ which was a real joy. Karen at Walkies Thame provided an excellent service when looking after our two rabbits whilst we were on holiday. Super communication before, during and after. I was a little tentative asking someone I did not know to walk my dog. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. Karen was friendly, reassuring, flexible around my working days and very professional. Lovely home from home for my dogs.
The Cat Butler Thame provided a great service looking after our cats whilst we were away on holiday. Sam really took time to get to know them at the consultation visit, and to understand their routine. During our holiday, Sam kept us updated with how they were doing with videos, photos and messages, which made us feel they were being really well cared for. Overall a great service that we'd highly recommend.
Recommended, would happily book again with Sam at The Cat Butler, Thame. We wouldn't have gone on holiday this year if we hadn't felt comfortable, 'cos of where our special little cat is at health-wise. V impressed with how relaxed Saffs looked in a video sent by Sam. Medicine-giving success! Sam also took time getting to know the other 2 small furries in the house. I liked the consistency of time spent at visits, that the intro session was unrushed. And the online booking system: that Sam could come back to us in her time and confirm if a 3rd morning visit was available (it was).
We used The Cat Butler Thame for the first time last week to look after our cat Gary while we were on holiday. The process was very thorough, including the online portal where we uploaded information regarding Gary and his requirements, in advance of our trip. We met Sam and Andy prior to going away which was very useful. Gary took to them straight away! Andy visited Gary every day and sent us updates with photos and videos which reassured us that he was well and being cared for. Gary was so much happier being in his own home compared to when he returns from the cattery where he can be unsettled for several days. We were very pleased with the overall experience and will definitely use The Cat Butler again.
The Cat Butler service has been an absolute game changer. Sam from Thame looked after my cat in August and Lucy from Buckingham looked after him in September - both great experiences. Incredibly attentive, and they provide regular updates with photos and videos, so I knew my boy was in great hands. My cat adored both Sam and Lucy, and it's clear that they genuinely love what they do. It is also a relief to know that your home is secure and being checked on. Highly recommend!
From inital enquiry to home visit to the actual cat sitting I have been super impressed by Andy and Sam at the Cat Butler Thame. Their online portal allows you to fill out all sorts of information about your cats, home, routines and even some pictures. This ensures all parties understand everything. During the cat sitting itself we were provided with daily updates via whats app including pictures and videos. Andy went out of this way to seek out the cats to ensure they had some human time each day. He was also super helpful in collecting up the mail and any parcels. Despite being based in Thame they happily cover our area of Ewelme and Benson. I would thoroughly recommend the services of The Cat Butler. We look forward to using them time and time again.

We were really happy with the service provided by Andy and Sam. They kept in contact with us via WhatsApp, posting daily updates ( including videos). Their booking portal was straightforward to use. When we were faced with the possibility that our return flight would be cancelled we knew that we didn’t need to worry about the cats, they were in safe hands. Marcus has been looking after my dog (and previous one) now for approx 10 years. I have used both day care and boarding. You can tell he loves the dogs and the dogs love going to his facility. During the summer its great to see the dogs in the pool cooling off or just enjoying air conditioning. The dogs are socialised and trained throughout the time there. He has a good knowledge of dogs behaviour & health, which he is always helpful to discuss. Nothing more true than the statement "home from home". Thoroughly recommend Marcus's services.
We have been using Marcus's day care and boarding services for our cocker spaniel Dex for over 2 years. Dex absolutely loves his time there and trots off quite happily to Marcus in the mornings on his day care days, even waiting by the door for him. We couldn't be happier with the service & facilities provided, Marcus takes great care of the dogs which gives us such piece of mind when we are away. Highly recommend!
Marcus is both caring and knowledgeable. Defo not your standard kennels. Hands on, expert care with plenty of interest and stimulation. We only leave our Wolfie to stay here 2 or 3 times a year, but it's important to us that we can have a happy holiday knowing he is having one too. Highly recommended.
We left our sweet Newfoundland Amari with Marcus when we went on our summer holiday and it was heaven knowing that Amari was having a holiday as well. We could truly relax knowing she was safe, happy and having the time of her life! Buckinghamshire Dog Walkers has so much space and active play in built on site not to mention the care, knowledge, experience, safety and playfulness on hand from Marcus and his team. (Amari even came on her season early while we were away !! And Marcus had the knowledge and experience to look after her and his other boarders so that we came home to a very happy (and chaste!) dog.) Marcus has cared for our three dogs impeccably since they were puppies. Not only loving them and caring for them, but supporting us in discipline where agreed and guiding us with behaviours as we encounter them. We feel completely safe knowing our babies are in the best care, and he always keeps us updated so we don’t ever miss them too much!
Marcus has looked after our Boxer boy for 7 years both via day care and boarding and has provided more than a home from home environment as I think it is actually better than home! Heat lamps for winter, air-conditioning in the summer, walks that are stimulating and fun. Marcus has supported him after various operations including providing an orthopaedic bed for his sole use and held a special party for him on his 10th birthday - these unique and special touches are what sets Marcus apart from other daycare services. Our boy comes home happy and tired after a day at Buckinghamshire Dog Walkers and has remained fit and healthy and well socialised. We can't thank him enough!

Nina was so helpful when had to take a last minute trip. She came, fed and looked after my cat Wilson like he was her own, he enjoyed lots of cuddles. Nina even sent me updates on how he was doing while I was away. Really quick at responding and flexible. Highly recommend her to anyone with an animal they love. She is now dog walking for my mum. After 4 months of using We Love Pets to look after our new puppy, it is the right time to write an informed review. Nina has looked after our puppy Micky from June and has proven herself to be reliable, trustworthy and passionate in her love for animals. Nina has a wealth of experience and has enabled us to own a lovely well trained pet. Nina knows the puppies limitations and what situations are positive and negative for him and always puts safety first. Nina has always managed our expectations and we value her input. Nina is key holder to our home and is considered part of the family, we have a well trained and cared for bull dog and we thank Nina for all her hard work and her genuine love for him as much as we do. Micky adores Nina and we feel very grateful to have her.
Nina was so reliable and flexible, it was so nice to actually find someone reliable as we’ve been let down previously. My dog Max loves it when she sits him and he’s always so excited when she arrives. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
