Barry is a sweetheart! Charlotte's home is comfortable, and she gave me all the instructions I needed to take care of Barry. (And I enjoyed the AppleTV set up. ) Charlotte's house is in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to Trolley Square with grocery stores, restaurants and bars. Brandywine Park and zoo are a mile away. And it's a 10 minute walk to the bus stop or a 20 minute drive to Philadelphia. June is St. Anthony’s Italian Festival in Wilmington, the perfect time to visit the First State. I totally recommend housesitting for Charlotte.
Rory and Nina are the most wonderful dogs and I completely fell in love with them both. They are calm, sweet natured, intelligent and friendly. There are loads of beautiful local parks to choose from and it was such a pleasure to walk them each day. The flat is pretty and comfortable and has everything you could need. I especially enjoyed eating my dinner in the beautiful back garden. The kitchen is bright and well equipped and it was a really nice place to cook. Nina even sat on a stool and kept my company sometimes. Roma and Abi were wonderful to communicate with and even cooked me dinner the night before my sit. They were quick to answer my question and made me feel at home in their place. The local area is perfect, with loads of cute shops and cafes. I would recommend this sit to anyone!
The location and place were both great! Very walkable area with everything close by. Scooter was great, such a calm boy who didn’t bark once. He was a great companion for working from home and a great walking buddy. Everything was perfect.
Looking after Thora was a total pleasure. She is such a lovely cat. I feel she gave me teachings on relaxation, she was so at ease, either sitting in her cardboard box or in the sunshine in the garden. She was very sweet and easy to take care of. And Emma was a perfect host. She prepared the house beautifully and I felt very comfortable there. Emma was easy to communicate with and I felt completely welcome and at home in her house space.

I would sit again for Grant and Raymond anytime! They are some of the most kind, generous, welcoming hosts i’ve ever had! They provided very clear instructions and were always available for communication. Both dogs were incredibly well behaved and loving- we had so much fun together!
