This was a great sit in every way. The house was clean and super comfortable. I loved basking in the view of Bend every day and enjoying the birds and deer out the window. In warmer months the porch and back yard would be lovely! The hot tub and bath were nice bonuses. The animals were all super sweet. They all like to cuddle if you want that and we’re well behaved. Kimberly was easy to communicate with and responsive to my questions. The expectations for me were reasonable and easy. I would definitely do this sit again if I had the chance!
Jeff and I thoroughly enjoyed our sit at Sandra’s! Sandra has had several good experiences with TrustedHousesitters so was a very relaxed host…and left us a wonderfully detailed Welcome Guide that answered any and all our questions! Her lovely older house and beautiful yard are so enchanting it was hard to leave to explore her trendy little town and the amazing sights that the area is famous for! Jellybean is a sweet, friendly, easygoing cat that appreciates lots of pets and loves a good brush now and again…but for the most part prefers to do his own thing. However…he did become a bit devious when he wanted his way in the wee hours of the night! Once he had us trained we all got on swimmingly! We would happily sit again in a heartbeat! 🥰
We had a fabulous 2 weeks in Beaconsfield, looking after the gorgeous Billie (who needs a lot of attention and cuddles!!) and the equally gorgeous and silent Belle. We enjoyed taking them out to the fields and paths which are very near to the house. We met Gavin and Lindsey when we arrived, and also when they returned: all communications with them before and during the sit were extremely efficient and reassuring. They have used Trusted Housesitters many times before, with excellent results. We had a very pleasant and tranquil Christmas at their large and well-appointed house. We cannot write more highly about Gavin and Lindsey, and the dogs. Utterly marvellous!
Dan was an excellent communicator throughout this sit that, unfortunately, didn’t happen due to covid. Sputnik sounds like a sweet cat, their Welcome Guide is complete and clear, and we hope to have the opportunity to meet him in the near future when Dan is able to travel again. I had a great stay in Howard & Gemma’s home in Frome. They made me very welcome, the house is well presented and very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice garden to sit in. The guest room has its own private shower room with a great shower. All in all, I didn’t want for anything while I was there. It is perfectly located close to the centre of Frome. There are plenty of good walks, shops and cafes on the doorstep and lots of interesting places to visit in the surrounding area. Howard & Gemma had thoughtfully left details of places to visit. They also left good instructions for taking care of Poppy. She is an easy, sweet-natured and undemanding dog, asking only for company, a couple of short walks each day (sometimes has to be persuaded for the second one!) and cuddles on the sofa in the evening. I highly recommend this sit, on all counts.
