Dog Sitters in Long Marston

Doug & Kathryn sat for five days for my 14 year old Shihtzu, Kallie. I felt very confident in leaving my boy with them both. They took him out for plenty of walks even though he had to be encouraged on occasions (he is 14 after all), and followed all instructions I left regarding feeding, sleeping etc. They are both very easy and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My house was immaculate when I returned and they had even stripped the bed and it was all washed and drying on the line when I arrived home. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needed reliable sitters for their pets.

Karen was just amazing. So friendly and easy to work with, and Franklin took to her the second she walked through the door (and he’s a shy guy who does not do usually do that!). The concert she’d originally planned to attend (that was the biggest reason for her visit to Cali) was cancelled, but she still stayed to take of our guy. She sent us fun pics and updates on her adventures with Franklin throughout the week via text, and we felt 100% comfortable with her in our house taking care of our fur baby. She even left us some beautiful and fun holiday decorations to enjoy when we got home. Thank you so much, Karen!

Absolutely fabulous sitters again :) We are so lucky to be able to spend time with them before we went to the UK, to visit family for 3 weeks and also on our return, they cooked us a lovely meal. This is the second time Sam and John have sat for Milo and looked after our home. Such a friendly couple, really easy to communicate with. Nothing is too much trouble, especially when it comes to Milo. They searched high and low to get him one of his favourite foods (fresh strawberries). He's such a fussy tortoise, frozen strawberries just aren't the same. We had daily updated on Milo, who was always very happy. He was sad to say goodbye, because they spoilt him rotten Sam and John kept the property so clean and tidy. We really do appreciate everything they have done for us. We could go away and know Milo and our home are in good hands, with no worries, just enjoy our time away with family. We can highly recommended them. Maria, Steven and Eden came to pet sit for us for a week. From the first Whats App video call, it was clear they are a warm, loving family who love pets. We left them with Meg, our lively 10 month old border collie poodle cross who had just come into season and Petal our 7 year old cat. Not the easiest task. Meg and Petal took to them straight away on the afternoon they came round to get acquainted. Throughout the sit, the communication from Maria was exemplary. She sent us some great photos and videos of Meg and Petal, I particularly loved the one of Meg and Eden playing together, it was clear they became best buddies! Meg became a little ill during the week but Maria was absolutely on it and sorted everything out. She was so sensitive to the pets needs, it really put us at ease and allowed us to get on with enjoying our holiday. We returned to a beautifully clean house, the sheets had been changed and the fridge had been stocked up. Quite unexpected and incredibly kind. Both Meg and Petal were very chilled when we got home and it was clear they had been fantastically looked after. I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Maria, Steven and Eden to sit for anyone, they were quite simply perfect.

What a lovely couple. We’d love to have them stay again. They went above and beyond. They kindly came to Ilkley the day before we left so we had a chance to meet them and introduce them to Murphy. When we returned the house looked amazing and they had made us the most delicious cake to enjoy on our return. Our son has a dairy allergy and it was dairy free which is incredible thoughtful of them. They also left us a thank you card but we should definitely be the ones thanking them. Thank you both for taking such good care of Murphy.

Confident, capable and caring. Lydia and her mum made a great duo, the house and cats were well cared for. Both before and during the stay they were good at communicating about plans and movements.

Stephanie and Liam were great house sitters! Communicative before their trip up, and Malka was at ease from the moment they arrived. Aside from one house key mishap (sorry again both!), they were able to crack on, and we were at ease that Malka and the house were well looked after. Everything was spotless when we got back, plus a very happy dog. Thanks again!

Eleanor was perfect! We could not have asked for a better cat sitter for our 3 babies. Being a cat vet and a serious cat lover, Eleanor is the ideal person to care for your kitties. She understood each cat's unique personality right away. All 3 of them loved her and warmed up to her very quickly, even Marcello who is usually extremely nervous with new people! It was really special to see. Eleanor stuck to the cats' routine and made sure to do all the little things they were used to. She also communicated anything specific that she observed about the cats that would be helpful for us to know. While we were traveling, Eleanor kept us updated with pictures, videos and messages every single day. We were always at peace knowing our kitties were well taken care of. It was clear that she communicated with us the way she would want someone to do for her own cat. Eleanor made sure to communicate clearly and honestly with us from the beginning of the process until the very end. We were able to arrange a video call and finalize our travel plans quickly. She was flexible and made sure to arrive a day early in order for us to meet and go over everything she needed to know about our place and the cats - this was very important to us. We returned from our trip to happy kitties and a clean home. Eleanor is a fantastic cat sitter - extremely knowledgable, passionate about cats, reliable, respectful and a lovely person overall. Your kitties are in great hand with Eleanor and we can't recommend her highly enough!

Jill and Nick were excellent housesitters who cared for my dogs as if they were their own. They arrived the day before we left to go on holiday and so we got to know them a little over supper. We felt very reassured to leave the dogs with them and they left the house spotless. Thank you Jill and Nick.

Lily was a fantastic house and pet sitter. She looked after our two cats and small dog while we were away, keeping us updated and checking in as needed. One of our cats as a skin issue that flared up just before we left, and we especially appreciated that she looked after this and kept us updated. Lily was easy to communicate with, and left our place very clean and tidy. We would definitely host her again and recommend her to others!

This is the second time Emma and Taresh have sat for me and I highly recommend them. They had a particularly lovely way with Hunter and he seemed very relaxed and happy with them. Unfortunately my trip didn’t go as planned but Emma and Taresh took it all in their stride and adapted around my changed plans. I would be happy to have them sit for me again.

Julia and her son Alex came to sit for our 2 doggies, and were absolutely excellent sitters. We can't thank them enough. We had a video call to run through some stuff before the sit and hit it off straight away. Julia is a phenomenal photographer and we got some amazing pictures and videos of our 2 rascals whilst we were away, with some updates on how they were getting on. Both dogs looked to be settled and happy. We had absolutely no concerns or worries about our home or pets whilst Julia and Alex were here. We would 100% recommend Julia, and Alex, to look after your home and pets. They are clean, tidy, punctual, reliable, honest, and generally lovely people. We would love for them to sit for us again, if they could tolerate our terrible trumping doggies again :)
