Tim and his family were excellent houseguests! They spent the holiday with Kod and took great care of him. It was easy to make plans. 5 stars.

Kimberly
I've just finished a lovely 10-day sit for Kimberly, caring for her downtown apartment and her rescue cat Mogli. And if you want to know what I thought of the sit: I almost cried when it was time to leave!

Mogli is such a sweet cat. He's cautious at first, but once he warms up to you, he will melt your heart. He's a talker, and I miss our "conversations." And he's loving, without being overbearing; he usually curled up on a chair next to me rather than in my lap, but he never objected to being picked up or snuggled. He's also very gentle; when you play with him (he has many cat toys!), he doesn't use his claws on you.

Kimberly's apartment truly feels like a home in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the big city. It's bright, filled with photos and mementos, and in a fantastic location. You can get so many places—shopping centers, coffee shops, restaurants, you name it!—on foot or by subway from her place.

Communicating with Kimberly was easy, even when she was traveling in Europe. She provided me with all the information and a tour of her apartment and building before she left. Then we kept in touch via WhatsApp; she even sent me photos of her adventures. It was like chatting with an old friend.

If you want a sweet cat and a home that makes you feel like a true local in Toronto, I highly recommend Kimberly's place. I would love to care for Mogli again—I miss him already!

Gordon
This was a wonderful house sit. Fred and George are both beautiful, friendly and easy cats to look after. Fred is out and about adventuring most of the time, but came to say hello and enjoy a bit of a stroke most days. George is incredibly affectionate and loves attention, often jumping up on my lap for a cuddle and a sleep, and enjoying a good grooming. My partner joined me for a few days and George enjoyed double cuddles and lots of attention! Gordon and Anna keep their beautiful home uncluttered and immaculate, so it's very easy to keep clean and tidy and have space for doing your own work and relaxing. Gordon helped with various queries I emailed them whilst they were away, so everything went smoothly. The beautiful gardens were a delight to spend time in, with incredible walks through woodlands and up to the moors just on the doorstep. A highly recommended peaceful nature retreat with great company - I very much hope to be able to return.

Tara
Zrr & Ketchup were sweethearts. They were very chill at home, a little reactive on walks but we found out of the way places to avoid bumping into to other dogs. Was a great way to explore Fernie’s backroads.
Tara & Mark’s house is super funky. Has everything you need to feel right at home.
I had a great visit with Tara the night before, getting the lay of the land over a glass of wine and homemade tacos.
Fernie is a great place to hang out so much to do. Endless hikes, lots of yoga, a beautiful pool and tons of places to dine.
If you have a chance do it!
Thanks for everything Tara!!

Garvan
Garvan and Kevin are two absolutely wonderful hosts. We applied the moment we saw the ad and we’re so glad we did. From start to finish, every part of the experience was smooth sailing. We met in person the week before in their stunning home which has absolutely everything you could want in a housesit. Peaceful and quiet, yet not far from anything that you could want. Enviable spice and utensils collection as well for any kitchen people.

Fred and Nelly are a truly dynamic duo. Fred likes to play his grumpy old man part very well, but is actually a complete softie once he gets his attention. He’s so gentle and will let you pet him forever if you can manage it. Nelly is still a puppy, so she is filled with energy and turns into a noodle if she sees any other dogs(or birds). She is beyond sweet and really well mannered with everyone she meets. She is also one of the cuddliest dogs I’ve ever met, and that’s really saying something.

Both doggies walk great on the lead and there’s no shortage of routes from the house. They are also both treat motivated which is always handy. They spend a lot of their time playing together in the house when they’re not napping, and Nelly is always happy for a game of fetch or tug.

We’re so grateful to have met Garvan and Kevin and are already looking forward to another housesit down the line with their beautiful doggies.

Lee
We had a really enjoyable sit at Lee and Barry’s home in beautiful Lake Cathie.
They live in a very friendly, gated community with its own gym, pool and other facilities. It is a five-minute drive from a supermarket and other stores. The major centre of Port Macquarie is 20 minutes away and beautiful beaches and breathtaking coastline seem to be just about everywhere.
We were made very welcome and even taken out for dinner the first night.
Genny the kitten was a constant source of entertainment while her older “sister”, Kilo, was much more reserved. Both were extremely easy to care for, as was the house.
We would be happy to return any time, and highly recommend Lee and Barry to other prospective house sitters.
