Conversation before and during the sit was great and friendships were soon forged😊. Lucy, Boris and their girls welcomed me into their lovely home, both spacious and relaxing, with a lovely private garden, the day before the sit. We shared a super homecooked meal after we had taken Pippa, the very cute doggie on a walk of the local area. Southwold is a lovely quaint town with a fabulous beach and the weather was hot and sunny during my stay which really felt like being 'on holiday' No tortoises to care for this time, as they were on holiday too 😊 but Pippa was a little gem, so sweet and happy to go anywhere. I shall really miss her. She travels well in the car and is very well behaved at home and when out. We also visited Aldeburgh, which I loved and Covehithe is a gorgeous hidden beach walk. Framlingham castle is a great day out too. Thank you all for a most wonderful and special stay 😊
Mona and Mark are one of the most generous person I have met. They graciously invited me to arrive earlier and stay longer, so it was more convenient to my travel schedule, Mark also picked me up from the station and Mona made me the delicious soup for dinner. They stocked their fridge and pantry full of organic fresh produce, organic local coffee and tea, and healthy snacks for my stay; they told me please to eat the fresh eggs from their chickens and sweet tomatoes from the garden. Their house is located in the best neighborhood of northern Berkeley - close to Tilden National Park, Berkeley University, Berkeley downtown, grocery stores, pharmacy, UPS and all major public transportations. The interior of house is a sanctuary itself with beautiful serene backyard garden, professional chef's kitchen and all modern amenities. There are some kind professional house keeping staff coming on weekly basis, everything in the house is clean and organized. Tosha the German Shepherd is an Angel, she made me feel joyful every moment of my stay. We went long hikes almost every day in Tilden park. She was the most loyal, faithful and intelligent companion. There are always good reasons for her actions and reactions, I never doubt her judgment during our time together. At night, she stayed outside my bedroom to guard my sound sleep. Rascal the big cat is hilarious in his communications, lightening fast in thinking and in action despite of his senior numerical age, and he IS affectionate ! He jumped into my bed every morning and offered his paw massages to me, free of charge. I woke up giggling every day. :-) The chickens have automatic feeder, there is also a kind weekly gardener coming to clean the chicken house, all I needed to do daily is to check water, spread some seeds and love on the ground and collect the fresh eggs. I had one of the most joyful time, thank you for all the love and kindness. Elisabeth
I had a great time pet sitting for Moorea, her family and their two gorgeous cats Hans and Franz! Moorea and her family were super welcoming and provided really comprehensive and easy to follow instructions for my time at their place. I was welcomed into their home and provided with lots of suggestions for how I should spend my time. Their comfortable apartment is located in a lovely part of Vienna with easy access to public transport to explore the city. Their cats were no hassle to look after and enjoyed regular pats and playtime. I would definitely recommend this housesit. Thanks again for having me!
Beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property! Lilly and Ninja were so much fun to be around. They were shy at first but after the second day, they had nothing but cuddles and affection. Claudia was a wonderful host and we would love to come back someday. Expect a quiet, relaxing cove with two wonderful kitties!
We had a lovely time looking after Lola and Sparkles! They are very loving and playful companies! We bonded really quickly! Laura’s house is really comfortable and communication with her was very good. The house is located near bus and tram stops, and also to supermarkets and other stores. Although it was a short time is was a very good one! We would definitely sit for them again and recommend this sit to anyone!
Shelley is a super kind and hospitable host who communicated very well. I really loved being with her sweet kitties and enjoying a time of rest at her cute and very comfortable tiny house. I did this sit without my family, so it was all about rest. The close community was easy: walking trails, views, even a coffee shop on site. I didn’t explore the area at all because I was pretty happy just on the front porch with the fur babies! I definitely recommend this sit, and hope I can have a little retreat there again.
