We loved taking care of Tui at Lyn and Neil’s lovely home. We fell into an easy routine with Tui who is the sweetest dog. Lyn and Neil are so welcoming and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay with Tui and would come back any time.
Mercedes was a very thoughtful host, providing plenty of information about her house and things to do in Newmarket. A basket of fruit and some cheese and crackers was a much appreciated gesture which we discovered on arrival. Michi was a pleasure to care for. He really appreciates mealtimes and loved a cuddle in the evenings. Overall, a great house sit in a cosy flat located right by the centre of town.
Cali is a really well educated and adorable girl. She loves to lay down with you, and is very affectionated. It was a pleasure and taking care of her. Brigitte is a nice person, and very open to comunicate while she was out. The appartment is very confortable, and the building has many cool amenities, as a penthouse with a beautiful view and dog space. It is located near Battery Park, and Cali loves to go there.
We could not have asked for a better sit!! We were greeted with the warmest welcome and Casper was an absolute joy to look after. It has honestly been our favorite sit to date. Casper is a bundle of love and is amazing off lead. We still can’t get over the hospitality we received, it blew us away, thank you so much for having us! The house was warm and cozy and had amazing views from the bedroom, basically everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you again for everything. We miss Casper already!
This was a hugely enjoyable sit, superior in every way. Gâteau is a lovely cat and a lot of fun. She is independent, going outside to explore when she wants and coming in to relax or play or hang out with you when she wants. Her play is vigorous and madcap and funny. It took her part of a day to adjust to me, but after that she was quite interactive and affectionate. Taking care of her was easy and rewarding. I really enjoyed the small city of Gorinchem, with its pretty streets and waterways and friendly people. The sit was long enough that I was also happy for easy opportunities to explore some other nearby towns and points of interest by ferry and train. The house, although situated on a quaint street of old buildings, has been beautifully renovated with modern, sleek design, clever gadgetry and comfortable features. Jos and Yannick were warm and welcoming, creating a nice atmosphere for me to stay in their impressive place. And they were thoughtful and helpful in providing whatever I needed and answering questions as they arose. Their love for this cat is obvious, and it was fun to text them pictures and updates in which they took great delight. For anyone who would enjoy staying in a small, picturesque, friendly city, I can’t recommend this sit highly enough; for myself, I would love another opportunity to go back to Gorinchem and spend time again with Gâteau some day.
