I enjoyed sitting for Linda and her two adorable gods Max and Maggie. They’re so precious and loving. I had no problems at all with the dogs and appreciated the thorough instructions left for me regarding food, medicines, walks and plant watering schedules. Linda’s home is very comfortable and I was able to stay in the guest bedroom which includes its own bathroom which was very convenient and comfortable. Linda went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable for me and I would recommend sitting for her in you have the opportunity. Thanks Linda!
We had a wonderful sit in Skipton with Bertie. He's a real gentle giant that just loves company. We were even treated to a visit from Charlie on a couple of occasions so enjoyed bonding with her when we could. Alyson and Tim were lovely hosts, clearly having prepared the house for our arrival and ensuring we knew where everything was before their departure. The house itself is set in the most beautiful and peaceful spot and we will thoroughly miss waking up to that view. We wouldn't hesitate to sit for them again.
Cecilie and Peter are a super friendly couple, accompanied by real cuddly Alfredo. The apartment is perfectly located in the center of CPH to explore the city or just take a stroll around the house. Alfredo is a really easy going companion and is a bit of a Garfield character :-) We had a very good time and can recommend this stay 100% Thanks a lot!
How lovely to spend time with two miniature poodles, Rosie and Minnie (Rosie’s Mum). They have distinct personalities and enjoy games and toys (but hide your socks!) and they ADORE walks. Lots of peemail to read and answer... Mary’s home is comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay in one of Victoria’s most historic towns - CASTLEMAINE. The town is a couple of minutes’ drive or a pleasant 10 minute walk. Wish I had had more time to take the poodles out and about more, and do more exploring!
Jon and Olivia made us very welcome in their beautiful home. Winston was a delight to look after. He is a real gentle giant who is well behaved on the lead and loves to get a pat and a cuddle. He’s a very content dog. We’d be very happy to sit again.
This was my favorite pet-sit ever! The house was charming and the neighborhood was beautiful. Regular dog walkers on our route knew each other and waved or chatted to each other. The three cats all had different personalities. One was interested in my every move, one checked on me occasionally and one was very private. Coco the dog and Bowie the cat always slept with me. One of the cats got sick while I was there and Adrienne and I worked together to decide when I should take him to the vet. All the animals were well-behaved. The city of Bangor is lovely. I hung out at Central Bagel. The bus system is efficient, and the public librarians were helpful. It was a wonderful little vacation in a delightful little town.

Jo is just the best! Our dog loves coming to her - in fact she starts to whine excitedly as soon as we turn off the roundabout! It's because Jo is a genuine dog person - always putting the welfare of the dogs first, careful about how she introduces them to other dogs, understanding their little foibles and needs and all in a safe environment that satisfies even the most protective owner (my husband!!). Cannot recommend her highly enough.
Jo at Cool Canines has been the most amazing dog sitter we have known. We have been taking our fur baby to her for over 5 years and wouldnt dream of putting her with any one else. We were in a tough situation while visiting Oxford and more than 15 dog sitters turned us down. Although Jo was precautious taking a new dog on such short notice, she was really helpful and understanding. Not only that, but our dog is on a raw diet and sitters sometimes struggle with that. Jo was very familiar with a raw diet, even fed our dog from her food stock at no extra cost for us. It is clear that the person behind this business really cares about dogs. I can't recommend her enough and I will always use her services if I'm visiting that area.
Not even sure she deserves one star. I was ignored (read my message) and when I replied with hello and a ? I was greeted with a message saying I was rude and how she was busy. I then proceeded to apologise and say that’s not how it meant to come across she proceeded to still call me rude and did this multiple times treating me like I was stupid at multiple points. I understand the message I sent may have come across wrong but when I apologised multiple times tried to explain what I meant etc and was just given abuse back I’m not gunna stand for that. Jo is exactly the kind of dog sitter I was hoping to find. I've got a very anxious sighthound (separation anxiety especially) who can be reactive with certain dogs. Jo took time to build a relationship between herself and her dogs and my dog. Jo absolutely puts your dog before anything, keeps you up to date and obviously has the utmost love and adoration for all dogs. I can't thank her enough for all the support she's given to us and our pooch!
Our Labrador absolutely loves going to Cool Canine. Jo genuinely bonds with each dog individually, personalises care for them and looks after them with utmost attention to details. Our lab comes back blissfully exhausted after spending a day filled with the right balance of play, enrichment activities and downtime. We had tried other local day cares, however they found our puppy to be 'over exuberant' and a 'little too full of beans' to handle. We then found Cool Canine, where Jo welcomed him with affection and tailored the days for his personality. Highly recommended!
Jo helped me and my dog out of a difficult situation yesterday. It wasn't ideal because it was her first time in doggy day care but Jo looked after her really well and she came home tired. I can't thank her enough for stepping in to help and I knew Otter was safe and being loved.
Jo and her team are absolutely fantastic; we put our little dachshund into daycare after we were recommended them from a friend from puppy class, and when lockdown seemed to be having a negative impact on her socialisation. Our dog was becoming more and more reactive to other dogs and because we couldn’t take her to classes any longer or be close to many other dogs due to social distancing, we were at a loss as to what to do to help. Thankfully Jo was incredibly understanding and helped our dog come out of her shell a whole lot. She’s really great at making sure all the dogs are well “matched up” so they have lots of positive experiences playing with one another and don’t become overwhelmed or bully one another. It’s so important when you’re working with a scared/reactive dog - otherwise daycare can apparently make things worse! I love that they can pick up and drop off the puppers too, such a helpful service to offer, it makes things really easy for us. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
We were looking for someone to take our boy out for a couple of walks a week during the work week and we are so glad we chose The Paw Smith gang! Katherine was more than helpful and introduced us at a meet to one of her lovely ladies Claire who takes our little man out for us and is now a firm favourite of Dobby! He absolutely loves going on his weekly adventures with Claire and has an amazing time with her and always comes back with a smile on his face! And she sends us wonderful snaps of him on her walks with him. We use The Paw Smith twice a week for Lionel and Bella and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Despite a rather wet few months the dogs are always left clean (which is a miracle since our lab will jump in any water she can find). Clare is our regular dog walker in Botley and I can’t recommend her more, our dogs aren’t the best behaved and she is so patient with them. P.S. It makes my day coming home to the little notes Clare leaves us about her adventures with them. Thankyou Katherine and Clare ☺️
Katherine has been looking after my dog, Red, regularly (twice a week) for over a year now. She's always treated Red like he's her own dog, which shows in all of Red's interactions with her as he absolutely loves her! My dog is my world, and I know Red is in good hands with her. She's 100% reliable, really friendly, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

We came across The Paw Smith when looking for a bit of help on busy days walking our two Cardigan corgi pups. Meeting Katherine and Clare made me feel super comfortable right away. Both our dogs took to them straight away, and Clare was really receptive to hearing about each of the dog’s quirks and tendencies to make sure they were well looked after and enjoyed their walks. Six months on, we are absolutely thrilled with how Clare looks after our babies. They are always overjoyed to see her; they come back from every walk full of smiles and tail wags (and thankfully very tired)! Clare has also stayed overnight with them and done a couple daycare visits, and those have gone brilliantly as well. Recommend unreservedly!
I have met both Katherine and Sophie and they are both lovely. When I get a new dog walker for Archie and Dillon, I pay a lot of attention to how my dogs react to being walked by a particular person, how enthusiastic they are to go and walk again with that person and I can state, without any doubt, that my dogs absolutely love their walks with Pawsmith and this is a reflection on how they are treated during the walks. Katherine walks my two dogs 3 times a week for an hour. They both love her and have enjoyed their walks over the past few months. I have profound mobility issues and this is a life line that has enabled me to keep both dogs. I really like the way that Katherine walks the dogs separately without “a pack”. One of my dogs can be very anxious but I haven’t seen that at all with Katherine. Would totally recommend.
The Paw Smith came highly recommended by a friend, so imagine my delight when I heard they were expanding into Oxford! Katherine and Carly send me photos/short videos and leave a note which says how the walk has gone. My Labrador has been on 3 walks with The Paw Smith so far and it is really lovely to come home from work to a calm and well stimulated pup. Therefore, I too, can highly recommend this company … I only wish they could walk my boy every day!!

Having recently moved to the area with a 5 month old GSP puppy, we knew finding the right care was going to be important for us & our pup. Jacqui & the team have been fabulous in accommodating our ever changing needs. They have been fabulous at taking things slowly with our pup, introducing her gradually to new places & new friends. They have been consistent with re-enforcing whatever training we have been working on & she is always happily shattered when she gets home. Jacqui and the team at We Love Pets are so much more than dog walkers/sitters. I feel so reassured when I need to leave our dog, knowing they care as much as we do. It’s not just a job for them, they genuinely care & I can’t recommend them enough. Recently I had arranged for our Jack Russell to be walked and I was a bit worried as she hadn’t been herself that morning. I just emailed to let them know & Jacqui called me & arranged to spilt the walk and check on her twice so I could be reassured. Our dog was absolutely fine but it was so nice to know she was being kept an eye on.
Jacqui, her team and family were the perfect minders for our little puppy Mia. She felt at home immediately and we knew instantly that she was in good, safe, caring, professional and trustworthy hands. Mia was so happy at the end of her first day. Jacqui and the team have been absolutely amazing and I would happily recommend them to anyone. My dog is slightly nervous when meeting new people and it takes him a little time to build trust. They were gentle, kind and patient with him and now have a great bond. I've never used dog walkers in all my years of dog ownership (over 15 years) so it was a big thing for me to trust someone else with my dog, to take care of him and to not reinforce and negative behaviour. I only wish I could take these ladies with me to where I'm relocating! Special mention goes to India, who does most of the walks, I love and appreciate the little notes and I'm so grateful for your caring attitude towards my boy.
We used We Love Pets Wantage for the first time recently. Having experienced the most awful pet sitter previously we were super cautious about booking another one. Needless to say we didn't need to worry. From start to finish the service was faultless. Jacqui put us at ease and carefully selected the most suitable person for us and Rosa worked out just perfectly. We had regular updates and photos sent and came back to very happy animals in great shape who'd obviously had a very enjoyable week. We contacted the Wantage branch of We Love Pets when we unexpectedly and suddenly needed care for a family dog, because his owner ended up in hospital. What a fantastic service they gave - finding a last-minute ‘holiday home’ for him, collecting him, taking him to a vet appointment, and generally welcoming him to the family. And Jacqui, who arranged all this, was so nice and helpful, and made things so easy in a stressful situation. And she kept us posted with photos to show how well he had settled in. We would highly recommend this company and, if future care is needed, would go back there immediately. A big ‘thank you’ to the We Love Pets team.
We had such a wonderful experience with Yvonne. She looked after our cockapoo Woody so brilliantly and took him on some amazing walks. What was most reassuring for us was that he was so excited to see Yvonne and the other dogs every time we dropped him off (or Yvonne kindly picked him up) and he was always suitably tired (but happy) when he came home again. Yvonne offers a very professional but friendly service and she went above and beyond to accommodate our schedules. We will definitely be using her services again in the future and would highly recommend her business to anyone else in the area.
When I found Yvonne a couple of years ago all my dog-care worries vanished! I was only prepared to leave Peanut with the best, and Yvonne and her family are just that. Yvonne is kind, always ready to help, professional, and flexible, and the dogs quickly become part of this wonderful human and doggy family. Her service is worth every penny. Peanut was clearly loved, and as an older dog Yvonne identified and catered for her needs whether she was there for a day or overnight. We were so lucky to happen upon Happy Tails when we moved to Oxford two years ago. Yvonne has been walking and minding Coco regularly since then. She is flexible, reliable and a genuine dog lover. Coco is always excited to see her and her family along with her many doggy pals. I highly recommend Yvonne and the excellent service she provides.

We were so lucky to find Yvonne - she is reliable, communicative, extremely flexible and most importantly so clearly loves our dog. He eagerly waits by the door the days she takes him out, and the photos she sends us every time prove he’s loving every minute. My one warning is if you are thinking of using Yvonne you must be emotionally strong enough to deal with the fact your dog may love her a tiny bit more than he loves you!!
Our dog Holly adores Yvonne and her lovely family. Yvonne takes her on wonderful walks and Holly always comes back well exercised and happy. She has also stayed overnight very happily with Yvonne. We have found Yvonne to be absolutely reliable and flexible. We are very lucky to have found Happy Tails for Holly!
I can not recommend Happy Tails highly enough. Yvonne is extremely professional dog-manager and my Fox-terrier Paddy absolutely adored both day-care & longer term boarding with she & her family. The location of Happy Tails, on the outer Oxford border, is also idyllic for dogs. There is plenty of free space to run around & Yvonne takes the dogs on long walks & sends back photos showing the activities & adventures. I will be forever grateful for the love & care Happy Tails has given us.
Yvonne is amazing with all dogs. She was always very responsive and Poppy loved going there. She always came home exhausted which is always a good reference to how much she enjoyed herself. I always knew she was likely having a better time at Yvonnes than I was doing whatever I needed to do. Five star review! Thanks Yvonne.
Our dalmatian Dolly always has a wonderful time with Yvonne, who is an extremely caring and reliable dog sitter. Dolly can be anxious away from her family, but she always settles very quickly with Yvonne and absolutely loves her big garden and the wonderful long walks. Thoroughly recommended.
We couldn’t ask for a better dog Walker than Yvonne: she communicates brilliantly with us to set up the walks for the week and sends us amazing pictures so we get to see just how much fun our dog Boris has had. No matter the weather Yvonne can be relied on to give your dogs a good walk. Her help whilst we have been working from home and stuck on the phone all day has been a godsend. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Elaine has been walking our dog for about 6 months now and he absolutely loves her! She is professional, friendly and reliable - come rain or shine. Collects Riley, takes him for a lovely walk and always wipes his feet before letting him back in. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Elaine has such a lovely nature she was amazing with our 2 working cocker spaniels they took to her straight away (one of them is quite funny with strangers but she loved her). She took them out on a lovely walk tired them right out which is quite hard to do. We will definitely have her back walking our dogs when we're out and about. She really treats them like her own couldnt reccomend her more.
Elaine looked after my three rats for the weekend whilst I was away. She took care of them really well and sent lovely photo updates so I knew they were doing well. She was quick to reply and even with relatively short notice came round to visit and look after my boys. Would definitely recommend.
Updated: July 13th 2023 For several years now the team at My Best Friend Dog Care have helped us out when our daughter's dog,Huxley, our furry grandson comes to stay. They always manage to fit him in. Even at short notice. Today it was Lauren who has done an excellent job. As well as him looking great, he also always seems to enjoy the experience. We really can't recommend this place more highly. Thanks to all the staff who provide such a friendly and professional service. Updated: December 2022 This is a superb dog groomers. At very short notice they were able to accommodate a grooming for the dog of a family member. The dog was staying with us for a few weeks. The dog loved it and looked really tidy. We will certainly use this place again in the future, when our doggy guest is with us 🐶 Indeed we have returned : Once again Clara provided a superb grooming for our guest dog. Indeed his next visit is already booked. It is reassuring to know that such a professional service is available close by. As 2022 draws to a close, yet again our visiting dog has managed to secure several visits to Clara and her team, during his stays with us. Each time he returns looking and smelling great. He is also full of vim and vigour when we collect him.
I have used My Best Friend Dog Care for both grooming and for boarding and can't recommend the service I have received highly enough. My elderly (and quite smelly) dog always comes away looking and smelling lovely from his grooming sessions. When I needed to use Jon and Clara's boarding services they took great care to match their carer with my dog's needs and I wouldn't hesitate to use this service again. I can't think of one thing I would change about the experiences we have had over the last two years and I would highly recommend MBFC to any dog owner.
Highly recommend , Jon has found some brilliant carers to have our dogs when we are away , they have always been well looked after and have had a great time , Put your trust in Jon if you are looking for dog boarding when you are away , he will match you and your dogs to the right people. Always professional with booking the dogs in to meeting the carers and sending out invoices. Highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care. Left our 9 month old Golden Retriever with Jon and Clara for the day and I couldn't be happier. Penny was well looked after and came home one happy pup. Lovely large garden so they can roam around freely, long walks and the online booking system is great.
We have always used My Best Friend for all of our dogs and have never once been disappointed in the care and service they have demonstrated. Jon and his team are fantastic, trustworthy and very reliable. They go above and beyond just caring for our dogs. All of our dogs have been extremely well cared for, loved and fussed over just like we have never been away. If you are considering going away and are worried about leaving behind your dog I would without shadow of a doubt always reccomend My Best Friend. My puppy loves going to Jon and Clara twice a week, I think it's the highlight for him! He jumps out of the car, tail wagging, and pulls all the way to the gate! He has the opportunity to go for walks off lead as well as access to the garden all day and a nice sleeping area if he is tired (which is hardly ever!) I would highly recommend this service!
Poppy was welcomed by Jon And went off happily with him . I received a text that evening to say she was settled and doing fine. When we picked her up after four days she was happy and tailwagging. Visited MBF last week for a much needed nail clipping for Henny (GSP). Really impressed with the lockdown safety measures in place with a one in-one out system and a sanitiser station outside, and inside with a defined area for customers behind a series of screens, whilst everyone was fully masked. It’s clear that Clara, Jon, Lynsey & Molly are all doing their best to look after our pooches and their owners during the pandemic. We look forward coming back, hopefully in better times, but for now this will have to do! Well done gang, keep up the good work.
Caroline and Ant are the only cat sitters we will use, they are simply the best. They look after our four cats, each with individual needs, (and our home) as we would. We appreciate the regular updates and them taking time to get to know each cat, giving them love & fuss. We trust them totally which makes our regular trips away one bit less stressful!
Caroline and Ant looked after our rabbit many times while we were away and we were so pleased with the exceptional standard of service and care they provided. We were very worried about leaving him as he is a rescue rabbit who we love him to pieces, and he is a creature of habit. I gave them a lot of information and they did a fantastic job! They were so attentive to him and when we got home the room was clean and tidy. We are really happy with choosing Caroline and Ant to look after him!
Absolutely delighted with Caroline and Ant’s services! They recently looked after our very elderly cat whilst we were on holiday and we were so pleased with everything they did. Prior to our holiday Ant visited us and really took time to understand our requirements. When we were away they sent messages and photos to keep us updated, which we really appreciated. When we got home our cat had obviously been very well cared for and everything had been left very clean and tidy. Caroline and Ant were extremely responsive before, during and after the period they provided their services to us while we were away. They took wonderful care of Tilly and carried out a thorough visit to our home before we went away to take all the necessary details and meet Tilly. She seemed much more relaxed in the photos we were sent than when we’ve had her in a cattery so we are really pleased.
Caroline and Ant are fantastic! They’ve been looking after our 2 cats and a rabbit (zoo!) for many years. One of our cats is on medication. I can rest on holiday knowing that they are in safe hands. I always get updates and pictures whilst we’re away. Thoroughly recommend *****

Martin and Emma provided such an awesome service as chaperones for our dog Teddy, at our glorious wedding. Both were kind, friendly, professional and patient! Its clear to see, they both love dogs and the attentional to detail in the business is brilliant. Both Martin and Emma took some brilliant photos during the chaperone service and kindly shared them with us. Also, they were very patient whilst we tried to get the perfect shots with our photographers. This was really, really appreciated! Teddy received a box of treats as a gift, which is a really nice, thoughtful touch. Like in the previous review, It’s rare to find someone so passionate about their work and we can’t think of anyone better placed to look after our dog now, or in the future. 5 stars all day long!! Martin and Emma provided us with a chaperone and dog sitting service for our dog Willow on our wedding day and were both so kind, friendly and professional. They were both excellent with Willow and we couldn’t be happier with the service provided. She’s a nervous dog but we were so at ease with Martin as he was very reassuring and such a natural. Both Martin and Emma took some brilliant photos of Willow during the chaperone service and kindly shared them with us. Martin even assisted our photographer in getting some brilliant shots of us and helped to create memories that we will cherish forever. We also received a wedding card from them both which is such a kind gesture that really made us smile. It’s rare to find someone so passionate about their work and we can’t think of anyone better placed to look after our dog. If we could rate higher than 5 stars we certainly would and definitely recommend to anyone requiring dog sitting services.
We used DoggyTopia as a wedding chaperone service, looking after our puppy the night before and of the wedding and bringing him for some photographs at our venue. From the very beginning Martin was friendly and professional. He took time to meet with us and bond with Pickles and we were very happy with the service and would highly recommend DoggyTopia. Finding them meant we were able to enjoy the wedding knowing he was in safe hands and not the responsibility of one of the guests; we have photos to treasure. Many of our friends and family commented on how warm Martin's manner was and he also helped Pickles to look the right way for the photographs! Next, we will be using them for regular dogwalking. Don't take the risk. Genuinely cannot believe that this place is still receiving custom. Our family dog was absolutely terrified and disengaged on pickup after his day here. He still flinches when I try to touch his legs. God knows what happened here, but you would expect them to be taken care of whilst under the care of the pet hotel. Looks like we're not the only ones, too. I would go as far as to say that our puppy came away traumatised, whereas with other daycares he has always come home happy and with tail wagging to see me. David, the taller staff member, was awful at dealing with our puppy and kept trying to make us feel like we'd somehow not trained him enough. Safe to say that's rubbish as our pup has since had a fantastic time at other day cares and is well beyond his age in terms of training and behaviour. Regardless, I will not be returning to this pet hotel. Maybe you'll be alright if you have a dog that goes unphased, since I suspect that something happened during my pup's time here that I imagine will now cost us a fair few £ in behavioural training and recovery. Obviously posted under a pseudonym due to these people having my home address etc.
Such a lovely pet hotel, and the owners are amazing! They are super knowledgable and really care about each and every dog. They want the very best for all of their dogs and take extra care with each breed. My puppy absolutely loves going there! Four Paws is definitely the best pet hotel in Oxfordshire - without a doubt.
Do not send your dog here. We normally use home boarding, but as our dog had not been spayed yet, we had to use kennels. This looked very nice with the heated floors, ensuite, and good reviews. We were not aware of the change in ownership. Our dog is not a barky dog. So much so that when we first got her we were concerned as she was so quiet. She might nip playfully which we told them in writing. So you can imagine our shock, when we received a phone call on the second day of our ski holiday, saying our dog was barking. Please could we collect her? They did not return all of her belongings despite them being labelled as requested. The manager was not there when we collected ourr dog, we were told she would contact us. She never did. Hence this review. DO NOT leave your dog here. These people have no idea what they are doing. Thankfully our dog has not acquired a barking problem. I am even wondering if they had the correct dog. BTW they will. tell you they post daily photos, they don't look at their FB page.
Mabel was very happy when she stayed here. She's a poodle with high energy but the staff were great with her. Will come back here.
Our dogs are 13, 11 and 5 and, after using the same kennels all their lives, we had to make a change after that business closed. We found Four Paws as a fairly close alternative and the team initially asked that our boys went to them for a morning for a try out which we found very reassuring. They have now had several stays and we couldn’t be happier as they have all come home looking as happy and healthy as ever. The team are friendly and responsive and have been very helpful when one or more of the boys have been on some medication. The facilities are excellent and pricing is reasonable. Leaving your dogs in the care of someone new is always hard but we have felt fully confident that they have been in a professional and caring environment. Overall, we are delighted to have discovered Four Paws and know that we have a safe and reliable place where our boys will be looked after while we are away.
Not only from working here but also from bringing my own dogs to stay i can say that the four paws pet hotel is a wonderful place. Every dog's needs are catered for and if your dog enjoys socializing they will be exercised with other like minded dogs in the secure field. Every dog is given the love and attention that they are used to having at home, as well as being groomed frequently. The kennels are immaculately clean, and the owners are very friendly and understanding with a good knowledge of a variety of breeds. I guarantee that if your dog(s) stay here, they will never want to leave!
Our Staffie has stayed at Four Paws since he was 7 months old. We cannot recommend them highly enough, We have always received a warm welcome from David & Tony. Four Paws accommodation is spotlessly clean, light, bright and very modern. As soon as we pull up to the gates our dog gets so excited and cant wait to get inside. have just picked up my JRT Toby from here and must say this place is fantastic. I have used other kennels for previous dogs but Four Paws knocks the rest out of the park! from drop off to pick up the service for myself and my mutt has been fantastic. As he is still a puppy he had a trial with these and as we were getting in our car they already had him out playing and now he is back home from a long weekend he is the most content dog. I cant write enough to explain how much he has obviously been cared for but if you are in the area I 100% recommend these. Also the prices are VERY reasonable. I have read one or two bad reviews for this place but from my experience of here I am very dubious about these bad reviews. We have already booked him back in without hesitation as we were so impressed. well done four paws team keep doing what you're doing.
A fabulous new kennels in Bampton. Lovely new accommodation with under floor heating, hammock style beds and outside areas. They have various size "rooms" to accommodate more than one dog. The kennel area is very clean as is their doggy kitchen. They have a lovely enclosed area where the dogs can play off lead. The owners obviously love dogs and look after them well. I would highly recommend the Four Paws Pet Hotel.
Olivia has been looking after my cats for just over a year. She’s 100% reliable, and I completely trust her. You only have to mention something to her, and she’s made a note of it, and it happens. She’s also really good at sending daily pictures and updates to me when I’m away, which always puts my mind at rest, as I always like to know what my cats are up to. I will continue to have Olivia look after my cats as long as she wants to, and I completely recommend her!
Olivia is an exceptional pet sitter! I’ve never felt more comfortable and secure in the knowledge that my cats are being lovingly cared for when I’m away, especially when finding it difficult to leave them overnight for more than a few days. Olivia’s professionalism was the first indicator that I’d found someone I can trust. With photos of my happy cats upon every visit and seeing how relaxed they are in her company I know I can relax when I’m away. I cannot recommend Olivia enough; you’ve just found gold!
Olivia is great I couldn’t recommend her more. She is polite, responsible and dependable and best of all my dogs love her! I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.

Rudy had a fabulous stay at Pet Whisperers hotel for 11 nights. We had regular updates, videos and pictures of our Boy, all were really appreciated! We could relax knowing that our boy was well looked after and constantly stimulated during the day, tired and comfortable during the night. We would recommend Pet Whisperers to take care of your four legged family member while you are on holiday.
Oxford Pet Whisperers are an exceptional team of caring and dedicated professionals whom I completely trust with our puppy. The heartwarming videos they share on Instagram always brighten my day, showing all the happy dogs playing and enjoying themselves. They provide a wide range of activities and enrichment experiences, and you can even book additional services like baths, tail trims, and full grooming. Amber absolutely loves her time with them and has grown so much more confident since she started attending. I would highly recommend Oxford Pet Whisperers to anyone looking to enhance their puppy’s socialisation. Or to anyone needing day care facilities due to work schedules.
Our golden retriever Ella is a regular daycare visitor and this year we tried the doggy hotel facilities for the first time. It gave us peace of mind as we knew she will be comfortable knowing all staff and environment, and she absolutely loved it, I don't think she was very impressed when we turned up to pick her up 5 days later, she wanted to carry on with the fun! We had a couple of updates on how she is getting on which was lovely to have. And you can see what your pup is up to during the days on Instagram account. Would definitely recommend this over regular kennels!
Lovely introduction. The business has an amazing concept with everything to make the dogs and the owners happy. So much space and all is clean and safe. Even the air gets filtered. My dog didn't want to come with me home after 30 minutes there.
once again Oxford pet whisperer have outdone themselves my little baby Frenchie had the time of his life actually came back with some extra manners. They also managed to squeeze me in a short note as I had to go away thank you very much for everything you’ve done.
We booked our dog in for a puppy groom last year. We looked online and saw that it was going to cost £10 but were surprised by hidden charges and ended up paying around £35-£40. The female groomer was not friendly towards our dog and did not even ask for his name, then was rude when we arrived back a few minutes late to collect him. He did not look well groomed and certainly did not look happy in his post groom photo (see pic). Upon returning home we found out why as the groomer had cut him under the eye and did not tell us. It looked like she had just washed the wound and covered it up. Luckily it did not become infected. We were very displeased and frankly disgusted with the service but due to other factors in life getting in the way at the time we never reached out to Oxford Pet Whisperers, hence the late review. We would certainly not return nor recommend their services to anyone else.
From the start, they have been very accommodating, professional and so friendly! We love the amount of time our pup gets to play and socialise with her friends as well as the first week report card and ongoing photos we can see on social media during her visits! A really well-run and dog centric business who we will be sure to continue to use 👍🏻
All I can say is that this company provides a fantastic service - my 16 week Frenchie had the time of his life playing and mixing with the other dog and staff. thanks for all the support and kindness you gave to my little boy.
Thank you so much for another fabulous groom on Friday. The family commented on how silky soft his coat was and he smelt fabulous. Teddy is so happy at OPW he goes off happily and comes home content and in need of a good long snooze. Having a bath/groom at OPW is a must, especially if the children/grandchildren are home for the weekend as Teddy looks and smells great. Roll on his Christmas groom . Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Jamie, Natalie and the team are amazing. I’ve been sending my dog Cooper to oxford pet whisperers for a year and a half now since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t dream of using any other daycare/dog walking service. They are experts in their field and take such good care of Cooper. He comes home tired out for the evening after a day at daycare and as soon as I turn the corner in to the car park to drop him off, he gets so excited! The pick up and play service is great too as it allows me to be a lot more flexible with work! The daily updates on Instagram are fantastic as it allows you to see what your dogs been getting up to in the day. Couldn’t give a more glowing review ⭐️
