I really enjoyed this sit. Fred’s place was comfortable and beautiful. I loved sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee and the amazing view of San Francisco Victorian homes among the hills. Stunning view at night too! Great public transport is available around here and Fred was kind enough to get me a parking pass so parking was easy. Appreciated Fred’s communication and having everything prepared for me to enjoy my stay. And the kitties - Tagger and JoeBob - are such sweet boys! Tagger is the alpha cat and it did not take long for him to snuggle me at night and demand pets! JoeBob is more shy but was so cute when he rolled and showed his belly. These guys are pretty chill most of the day and I was able to do some work zoom meetings without much interruption. Thank you for having me!
We had the wonderful opportunity to sit for Vicki and Michael. They were so kind and great communicators. They even made us dinner the night before they left and it was healthy and delicious!! Their home was very comfortable and the flower gardens are lush and beautiful ..... we loved sitting out back with the dogs in the PERFECT weather. There are awesome dog parks in the area that we went to daily. That being said, the stars of this sit were the dogs, Bill and Soda! We fell in love immediately. Bill is not your typical chihuahua. He is super chill (once he gets to know you) and such a good snuggler. I am amazed that he is 12 years old because he is in great health and has great energy on walks and trips to the beach. When he does get tired, he is happy to let you carry him :-). As for Soda, she was such a gentle soul. You will definitely win her over with a big stick at the beach ;-) She and Bill love hanging out in the back gardens with you or on the couch in the evenings welcoming any belly rubs that you have to offer. They accepted Hershey into their pack from the beginning and their friendship was a joy to watch. One thing I should mention is the wonderful neighbors. Everyone was so nice and ,well..... neighborly. I definitely recommend sitting for Vicki if you have the opportunity!!
Taking care of Mimi was a pleasure! She was a bit shy and uninterested at first but soon enough she showed us her fun and playful side and we enjoyed cuddles with her. Shirley welcomed us to her home, which is located in a very nice and quiet area, and we could get to downtown Cairo easily using one of the many ride-hailing apps. She was very helpful when we asked her tips about Egypt and Cairo. Her flat is spacious and cool, despite the usual heat in the country, and it has everything needed to feel at home. Communication with her during our stay was good and the instructions for the sitting were clear and simple. We genuinely enjoyed our time there. All in all, a really good experience :)
We had a great time sitting for Brownie, Zoey, Grizzly and Bear. Each one of the cats has such a different personality and it was fun getting to know them as the week went on. Brownie was an absolute sweetheart! She has a very sweet disposition and just loves to hang with you. The house is conveniently located to major shopping, lots of restaurants, and activities. We throughly enjoyed using the pool everyday. Alex and Kelly were great at communicating and we could not have asked for a better house sit.
Sidnie was an excellent host and made the stay with Cooper and Avery very pleasant. The pups were great super loveable and cuddly. Some days Avery could be a bit stubborn and wouldn't get in the car after the dog park so be prepared to pick up the big girl to put her in the car, when bribing her with treats fails. Cooper on the other had would hop right in and chase the ball the entire time at the park. Sidnie's home is in an excellent location making it easy to go for little day trips or great to just stay home and enjoy the sun streaming in or relaxing on the deck. I hope at some point it works out in the future to watch these pups again. Thanks for the great stay.
