This was Katherine's second sit for us and we were so grateful to have her and her nephew looking after our ever growing list of animals. She has experience with a vast range of animals and nothing is ever a problem for her. Her communication, reliability and flexibility, along with her care for the pets and the house, make Katherine an amazing sitter and we hope to have her back again soon. Thank you Katherine!!
Bennet was the perfect pet sitter. He took excellent care of all three dogs and my home. I highly recommend him.
Cosmo and Leo are so adorable and made for an enjoyable sit. Nicole communicated with me before and throughout my stay. Sean gave a thorough tour of the apartment and answered all my questions prior to their departure. Cosmo had fans at the neighborhood dog friendly coffee shop. I would definitely sit for them again and/or recommend this sit.
It was a pleasure taking care of Frankie at Natalie's lovely home. Communication with Natalie from the start was perfect, she is a warm, friendly & caring. Even though she and the family were in France, she responded quickly at all times, especially when I encountered some internet problems. Upon my arrival, Nat & Andrew were already overseas so I never got to meet them, but their son Ross kindly gave me a thorough tour of the house & explained Frankie's routine before he had to leave for the airport. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe with a short walk to the private beach, which I visited quite a few times. I planned to use the SUP and kayak but unfortunately the weather and/or my work schedule never cooperated. The pool in the backyard provides a nice alternative to the beach. Stamford is a nice little city with tons of excellent restaurants & the Shippan Point neighborhood is simply beautiful. Frankie is quite a character - I think he's the most vocal cat I've ever met with one of the loudest purrs I've ever heard. Ross let me know it's OK to close him out of the main part of the house at night, which I didn't have the heart to do. Frankie enjoys his comings & goings through his cat door & at night would hop up in my bed for some cuddles after he was done carousing. He does have an internal alarm clock that goes off at about 5am when he feels it necessary to let you know he's thinking about breakfast. He does mew/howl quite loudly, so if you don't want that wake up call, best to close him off before you go to bed. I'm an early riser & didn't mind at all. Other than that habit, he's a super friendly, affectionate guy whose company I enjoyed. He had a cute habit of grabbing my hand with his paw when he wanted attention. I think his purr is one of the loudest I've ever heard too. Unfortunately on my final day, Natalie's flight was cancelled & she asked me to stay one more night, which my schedule wouldn't allow - I felt terrible - but I fed him a little extra (he loves his food!) and piled up his dry food. I'm sure the little guy was fine & Nat said a neighbor would be able to come by in the morning. All in all, it was a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Francesca and Roberto's house, they were super kind and accommodating. The place is lovely with a peaceful atmosphere. Not to mention that we totally fell in love with the dogs and the kitty and had some fun with the chickens. The pets are disciplined, the tasks were not demanding and Francesca was always available for clarification. Absolutely recommended sit :)
I looked after Roscoe the lab with my daughter in Adam and Susie’s beautiful home for 2 weeks. The location was wonderful the house truly is so gorgeous and both hosts were very warm, welcoming and accommodating. Roscoe is an absolute joy to be around we’ve honestly missed him and are hoping we will be able to look after him again in future. He’s lovely, playful, sweet, well behaved and full of character. 10/10 would absolutely recommend, anyone would lucky to go and spend time in Brighton with lovely Roscoe.
We had a lovely stay at Laura’s new home. A perfect location. Rusty is very affectionate and a great company. So cute. Laura’s instructions were thorough. A recommended house/pet sit.
Conner and Joe are simply the best pet parents out there! Their communication skills are incredible, and their house is not only beautiful but also perfectly situated. Taking care of their pets has been a breeze because they are so well-behaved and lovable. Ella and Rock have a really good meal and walk routine, this made everything run smoothly. I can't thank them enough for this amazing experience!
