Elliot, the cat, was very easy to care for. He was so sweet and playful and enjoyed being brushed and his evening lap time (which I enjoyed too.) Tina was generous and welcoming and left thorough instructions. Her home is comfortable and sunny and a great place to hang out. There is tons to do in trendy Royal Oak and the surrounding areas. A trip to the Detroit Zoo, only a few miles away, was my favorite excursion.
We were given a lovely warm welcome by our charming hosts Sophie and Charles and enjoyed a delicious supper with them. They went to great lengths to ensure we had everything we needed for our sit. Bevel and Gillow were a joy to be with and a delight to walk. They were well behaved and very loving, especially cuddling up on the sofas in the evenings. Paxton is an old cat who slept a lot, enjoyed his food and occasionally joined us on the sofa - always on his terms! This was a lovely sit in a beautiful home to which we would happily return. It was our second housesit through "TrustedHousesitters" when Milly and Brenda entrusted us with taking care of their home, their cat Piti, their seven tortoises, and some invisible badgers in April 2019. I had almost given up on finding a housesit without having reviews yet when I applied to Milly´s listing on March 2nd. I was surprised - and delighted - when Milly replied within 19 minutes (!) and offered us the housesit. Our communication leading up to the stay was very nice. Milly was so easy to talk to, giving all the necessary information and more with a sense of practicality and humour that made us look forward to meeting her and Brenda in person. We spent the first and the last evening together, were treated to a yummy dinner with vegetables from their own garden, and were shown around on the first morning before they left for their own holiday. We very much enjoyed our conversations with them. Our pet sitting duties were well explained and easy to perform. Piti the cat is rather shy (but curious) and it was quite an honour when she let us get closer to her. She is very independent and we had ample opportunity to explore the area during the day. The house is very comfortable and easy to navigate. It is BEAUTIFULLY located right above the river Wye, in the small village of Brockweir near Tintern Abbey in a green and quiet part of the Wye Valley. We slept so well! We are very grateful to Brenda and Milly for our wonderful time on the Welsh border - and very much hope to see them again!
House sitting for Kate and Andy was such a pleasure. They are situated in a lovely, peaceful corner of Cornwall with easy and direct access to an abundance of footpaths and quiet country lanes. The accommodation was fantastic, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We had a great time taking the highly energetic and affectionate Pablo and Ozzy out for a walk every day, invariably ending up with a charge through the woods and stream adjacent to Helland Barton farm. Throughout our time with the dogs they behaved superbly, in the grounds, out walking and inside the cottage. Additional company was provided by Tyrion the cat who quite simply adored attention, which we were more than happy to give him. Ngala was restricted to the house due to recovering from an operation, but he too was happy to receive all the attention we could give to him. Hobnob and Wellington were an added bonus and with a bit of care, would happily accept a head rub. The chickens produced perfect fresh eggs each day. All in all, this was a fantastic sit and thoroughly enjoyable which we would not hesitate in recommending and we would jump at the chance to return. Thank you Kate and Andy for allowing us the opportunity to house sit for you.
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Rowan and their family. Their hospitality and communication were exceptional. Ben and Layla were both an absolute joy. They were not only sweet but incredibly easy to care for. Their warm personalities made the experience all the more enjoyable. Within no time, they had warmed up to me, showing their trust and affection through cuddles and playfulness. One of the highlights of my dogsitting experience was witnessing how much these pups loved to sunbathe. Rowan's house had a perfect spot in the garden where they could soak up the sun's rays. It was a delightful experience, and I would jump at the opportunity to do it again. The combination of wonderful dogs, a warm and communicative family, and a beautiful location made it a truly exceptional dogsitting experience.
Lesley & Family provided top-notch hospitality with assorted snacks, an extremely tidy home, and comfortable living arrangements. Camillo was easy to care for and loved our company. Future TrustedHousesitters may want to watch out for paper and plastic lying around because Camillo may play a game of snatch & run! lol Overall, our pet/housesit assignment for this lovely family was great! It was our pleasure to help and hope to cross paths with them again.

My dog (Molly) has been going to Lindum House for the occasional daycare as well as long stays. I love the fact that it's a home from home. Molly is excited when I drop her off, and exhausted when I pick her up. I know she just has the best time with Sam and her doggy pals! From the moment I reached out, Sam was incredibly responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions, easing any concerns I had about leaving my dog. Her communication is always so efficient, she sends updates and pictures that makes me feel completely at ease. My dog is treated like family, and I can tell that Sam and her whole family genuinely care about the well-being of the dogs. I highly recommend Lindum House to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional daycare or long stay.
Wonderful Sam and her family have been looking after our beagle Wilson since March of this year. We had been looking for a home from home experience for Wilson for a while and came across Sam and Lindum House dog sitting via a friend’s recommendation. What a fantastic recommendation it was!! Wilson has been a regular at Sam’s with a recent week long stay and boy did he have fun, snuggles and lots of sniffy walks 🐶 Sam has also administered regular medication to Wilson and also took him to the vets when his claw became sore. Sam goes above and beyond to ensure your pup has a great experience, alongside sending ‘pup dates’ which we have been so glad to receive. Wilson adores going to Sam’s and is completely comfortable and at ease finding his special area to snooze. Just getting slightly jealous that our cavapoo, Alfie, gets quite SO excited when he knows we are arriving at Lindum House!! He goes there for the morning twice a week whilst we have personal training, and has been very much at home since day one. He dotes on the fabulous Sam, and even Adam on a good day!! He also loves his besties Ginger & Alfred, plus meeting different new ‘mates’ on each play date. He gets a great walk with the gang too. First sleepover on Thursday. Cannot recommend LH highly enough.
Lovely home from home setting - my dogs have been going weekly for day care to settle in and one overnight stay before a couple of short stays while we’ve been away on long weekends. Sam is great with the dogs and they love staying

My beautiful beagle has just had the best week at Lindum House. A rather excitable rescue pup with a huge thirst for play, I was a bit nervous about leaving him to go on holiday as other dogs can find him a bit much! I should’t have been. Sam was brilliant- she listened to my concerns and made great suggestions about how things could be made easier for him (and other less enthusiastic dogs 🤣), kept me up to date and had obviously taken the time to really get to know him. He has been fed well, exercised a lot and most importantly, happy. I wholeheartedly recommend Sam and Lindum House Dog Sitting- thank you for making his stay such a great one and being so patient with him
My dog stayed for two weeks at Lindum House after a trial night sleepover to settle in and get to know everyone. Sam kept me updated with messages, photos and videos and it looked like he had the best time! He went on nice walks and was kept on the lead as I asked apart from in dog secure fields where he ran around with other dogs. He was given medication when needed and even had some much-needed training on the lead. Can’t recommend Lindum House enough!
Sam looked after our very elderly and deaf Labrador for 2 weeks. I was a bit concerned that our dog would be overwhelmed by the other canine visitors but Sam reassured me that she would take good care of her. I collected a happy and relaxed dog for which we are very grateful to Sam and her family.
Our Working Cocker Winston has been looked after by Sue a couple of times now. She is obviously a dog lover and takes good care of her charges. Winston is very happy at Lindum and comes back exhausted from the days activities.
Our dog Billy absolutely loves going to Bev’s for day care, as he gets to spend the day doing his two favourite things - walking and snoozing! We re-homed him last year, and think he had spent a lot of his life being left alone at home for most of the day. Since going to Bev’s, Billy has become much more confident and playful, and his days at day care have helped him to socialise and make lots of doggy friends! Bev is so kind to all the dogs, and her background as a veterinary nurse gives us complete peace of mind. The dogs go out on exciting and varied walks, and can then relax in her comfortable home. We couldn’t ask for anyone better to care for Billy, and would recommend Bev’s services to everyone!
We are so grateful to Beverley and Flora for making Stan’s first stay with them a comfortable and well cared for one. The daily updates, photos and videos were a great comfort while we were away. My spaniel has a wonderful time with Bev, Flora and the daycare dogs. Bev is very caring and clearly puts time & effort into making sure the dogs are well integrated and happy. She takes them on lovely walks, which my active dog loves. Bev also provides videos and photos to show the happy time they are having in the beautiful countryside of South Somerset. I am very pleased with this special and unique service that ensures my dog is exercised, engaged and has an enriched experience. The dogs are well looked after and safe. He comes home after a good day with his friends, tail wagging and happy!!
Bev has visited our cat for the last 10 months on a regular basis and is absolutely excellent. She cares for our cat impeccably well and keeps us updated with WhatsApp photos/videos on every visit. Bev also ensures our home is secure and locked after each visit. Our dog Bertie has a lovely time at daycare with Happy Pets and Paws. Bev makes sure all of the dogs get on well, they have different walks every day and lots of one on one interaction too as they are never in a big group. We also get lots of updates and videos on their walks. Would highly recommend for any daycare or walking services.

After many years of excellent, caring attention we would highly recommend Bev. We have cats - at times many cats! - and they really do enjoy staying at home rather than going away for their holiday. They were getting stressed being taken away to holiday homes and then again on the return trip. Bev allows them to remain in their own familiar home in stress free surroundings. We have had cats with a wide range of ages and requirements, including some old timers like us requiring medications, but Bev provides all the care they need. As she is a qualified veterinary nurse, this is an obvious bonus because we know that she will spot if something is not right and will be on hand to sort it out. Bev also keeps us updated while we are away and you can hear the love and attention she provides. We have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who wants a professional, caring and friendly ‘mum’ to keep your pampered ones happy while you are away.
Honey has a fabulous time with Bev and Flora (and the rest of the gang) Bev provides a caring service with excellent communication and is flexible with our working hours. We have used HPP for boarding as well and it is reassuring knowing Honey has so much fun while we are away. We especially like that Bev only accepts well mannered and sociable dogs. Would highly recommend and we intend to continue sending Honey to HPP for many years to come!
Highly qualified, very professional dog Walker and carer. Unhappy that we hadn’t used all of the same commands as she uses, for dog training. Has a very small garden. Own dog and our dog just didn’t click? No idea why. So despite having paid lots of money for a holiday we had to then cancel. When we tried to book again we were rejected. Lots of time wasted as we wanted someone for emergencies and dog free occasions like Weddings . Paid for test visits, and accepted. Then when we needed help we had to start searching all over again. I’m disabled and have limited mobility so this was a big problem.
My dog has been going to Happy Pets & Paws for daycare for about 7 years now, and still absolutely loves it. Bev provides a very high quality service and always puts the dogs and their welfare first, all whilst being extremely professional and totally reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services.
Lily & Rosco say they loved Paws and Klaws when they rented out a field they had so so much fun esp Lily as she cannot be let off as her recall is so bad so she made the most of every second! Lily and Rosco absolutely recommend it as it’s enclosed and safe with fabric up so the dogs can’t see anything through the fence it has lots of agility equipment in it and water bowl and lots of tennis balls to chase they can’t plant it and will be returning as soon as possible they are both tired out and sleeping! If would come every day if I could ! Absolutely fantastic !!! I cannot recommend enough! I hired the pool and it was incredible. Spare towels, plenty of balls, shelter if needed, a net to get toys out of the water, a ladder for accessibility for humans and even doggy planks for them to get out of the water! Amazing quality for price ! We brought our 5 dogs for £20 and a 50 minute session. Alex was incredibly helpful too so thank you very much!! I’ve booked for next month already!
Though it’s been over a year, I still feel strongly about what happened during my dog’s stay, so I wanted to share my experience. I had booked my Giant Schnauzer into Paws and Claws for a three-week stay while I was due to travel to Australia. After just one day, however, I received a call from the kennel informing me that my dog had bitten a staff member’s finger, and they insisted I collect him immediately despite my travel plans. Their website promises that pets will be 'cuddled, stroked, warm, loved, played with, and kept in utmost comfort throughout their stay,' but in my case, it seemed they were unprepared to handle a breed like a Giant Schnauzer. My dog has a protective nature and can be anxious around unfamiliar people. I believe that, due to this lack of understanding, a staff member was bitten while trying to photograph him. If you have a dog with an anxious or protective temperament, I recommend seeking a kennel with experience handling similar breeds. This experience was both stressful and disappointing, and I would advise others to be cautious if they own dogs with similar needs.
Booked to use the secure field so my younger pup could have some off lead fun with my older dog. Great facilities, dogs had a blast and loved all the agility equipment.
Amazing place for you dog, we used their day care when we travelled to Yeovil, and we were welcome very warmly! It was a first for Snow, and she did not want to go back home! Very highly recommended!
Took my boy, and my friends dog to paws n klaws today, my first time not theirs. We had an absolute blast. The staff were so beyond kind and helpful. The dogs had the beat time and so did we the pool was the perfect temp aswell during the heat. We can't wait to come back 🙌 …

Jan is amazing. I travel from South Devon to leave my dogs with Jan she is so good. I have known her almost 20 years and she has looked after all the dogs I have had in that time - including elderly rescues. I wouldn't go any where else- she is amazing with all dogs and trustworthy - so worth the extra drive to know I will collect a happy, well cared for dog who loves it so much there they don't always want to come home.
We have used Jan at Langport for more than 10 years as we hated putting our Basset Hounds in kennels. She has a several acre field right next to the house where they are exercised frequently. In addition she takes them out for a proper walk each day.All the dogs of every breed sleep in her house and they all seem to love it. She is also very knowledgeable about dogs, horses and other pets. I think she has also just been awarded 5 stars by Defra. When one of our Bassets was ill she actually slept downstairs with her: an amazingly dedicated and kind lady.
Jan is excellent with our dogs. They are always happy there and sadly I feel at times they dont want to come home!

Dillon my 11 year old black lab spent a very happy 24 hours with Kirsty and family recently. Can't recommend highly enough.
If you love your dogs, do not use this man to care for your dogs. I employed him to care for my two dogs for two weeks and house sit whilst I went on holiday. He failed to provide even the basic level of care for my dogs and one was left covered in red raw sores and a bald and infected tail. He clearly hadn’t even walked them as there was large amounts of faeces in the garden and my dogs never use the garden as a toilet unless absolutely desperate and no other option. My neighbours confirmed that they saw no evidence that he was there during the day or night. My dogs were left extremely distressed and in pain when I got home yet this man claims not to have noticed either the sores or any level of suffering. He lied to me throughout and continued to lie about his level of care until I showed him evidence of his actions had had on my babies.
Very happy to recommend George, he walks our two Dalmatians every week and they not only adore him ( I totally trust their judgment ) but come home suitably exhausted.
Debbie recently looked after our ducks & chickens for 10 days whilst we were abroad. We got daily updates with photos, which really put my mind at ease as I was so worried about leaving them. She was amazing, and she really did look after them for us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting services.
I highly recommend Pet Sitting Bridgwater. Debbie is the most caring person I have ever met. She took great care of our two cats while we were away, giving them the best care, treats and lots of petting 🥰 I was so impressed by her professionalism and reliabity. She was sending us daily texts about how our furry babies are doing, she even went the extra mile and bought them treats and toys. Special bonus the chocolates waiting for us when we returned home. Debbie is caring, efficient and professional. I have a nervous cat, and was worried about leaving her. I had no need to worry, as 'Moomoo' was very happy with Debbie... and she loved the cat treats! Debbie sent me daily updates and pictures. I will definitely be asking Debbie to look after Moomoo in the future.
We were concerned at first about using a service and a stranger to look after our nervous cat Mia, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. Debbie soon put our fears to bed and we couldn’t have asked for someone better to look after her. It’s a fantastic service and I’m so pleased that I didn’t have to leave Mia in a strange cattery. When we returned from holiday Mia was happy & chilled, all her food bowls were clean and plenty of water in her bowl. We will certainly use Debbie & pet sitting again and can’t recommend this service highly enough.

Laura is so caring and kind aswell as extremely reliable and trustworthy. She has looked after our sausage dog on a few occasions and we feel no guilt leaving him, he absolutely loves her company! I highly recommend Laura without a doubt.
