Wow wow wow, what a perfect fit for our senior cat and home while we were away! Our home was left in pristine shape and we were surprised with little gifts of treats, cat toys, the sweetest place mat & a pack of cat themed napkins upon our arrival home! Brutis seemed to really enjoy his time with his new friends and we would have Sharen and Larry back in an instant!

Liang & Max

There are number of things that we really liked about Liang and Max. They had great communication skills. They always checked in with us before doing anything. For example they made some cat treats and texted us the ingredients and asked if that was okay. They sent pictures of the garden before weeding etc. We really appreciated that. They also updated us regularly with photos and videos of the cats. We loved that! It was clear that they were being well taken care of. We would definitely use them again. They both are easy going, good communicators and have a good sense of humour. Liang and Max are very trustworthy. We left several key items at home accidentally and they sent them along to us quickly. Also upon return they left food in the fridge for us as well as made us dinner! This was very much appreciated.

Selah

I admit I had tended to gravitate towards older sitters in the past, being (yes, unfairly perhaps) dubious of the youngsters' level of responsibility etc. Selah and Marcus proved me wrong. They were thoughtful, helpful (we had some travel issues and needed to reach out to them) and highly dependable. Choose this lovely couple - you can't go wrong :)

Marie was awesome with our eleven month old Hudson. You could tell when we got home he was in love with her. She took him on many outings which really helped with his socialization and kept us updated with pictures. She took great care with our home and we would welcome her back anytime. She even bought us a lovely plant and note as a welcome home greeting. Thanks again Marie.

Alaya

Alaya was thoughtful and generous in regards to caring for our animals and home. She stayed for a weekend and the animals were very happy, and the home clean when we returned. Alaya put in the extra efforts to make us feel she was as prepared as possible to offer our animals amazing care, and left our house very pretty upon arrival home. Thank you so much Alaya 😊

Lee was very personable and communicative - she was upfront about how much time she was able to give our pet bird. She definitely took good care of Dewdrop and followed instructions. She checked in with a photo once every couple of days and overall we’re grateful she was able to sit. We did have to clean up coffee spills and etc on our return (the house wasn’t as clean as we left it). Overall we’re glad we chose Lee to sit for us.

Bridget & Mike

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes over the genuine kindness Bridget has for our family. Keep in mind, we have actually never mat. We have always left the key under the mat for her when she sits. She sat for us June 2-4. About an hour before she was due to arrive, we had to rush our 20 year old cat Macey to the ER. We had no idea what the weekend was going to look like and were terrified about our cat's medical status. Sadly, we had to put down Macey that night and Bridget told us to keep her on stand by for anything we needed pet sitter-wise. You all know how much you love your fur babies. Macey was our first pet when we graduated from college, so losing her that night was DEVESTATING. I still can't stop crying. When we came home from the ER we could not bear to look at her water dish, pet stairs, etc. It was all too much. We decided had to leave STAT for our weekend plans and Bridget agreed to still come sit for us even though we left 6 hours later than originally planned. That kind of empathy, love, and understanding is hard to come by. She loved on our greyhound, bearded dragon and axolotl as we processed Macey's death in Lake Chelan. Bridget sent us updates on how our dog Max was doing both days. We came home to fresh baked cookies, treats, a beautiful handwritten card and a rose bush to plant in Macey's name. The sheets and towels were washed and the house was immaculate. Of course it sent me into a spiral of tears over the humanity and love Bridget displayed towards our family. I believe in angels, and I will tell you, Bridget is one. She is our favorite sitter and we feel so incredibly lucky to have her in our home. She will always be our first choice.

Janet was very organized and proactive to ensure the cats & garden were going to be well cared for. She took notes and double checked care details with us. Our cats were so happy when we got home which is always a good sign of receiving all the attention and interaction they need. Our house was very clean, she even offered to mop even though it wasn't included in our guide. All of our plants in the garden looked so lush when we got home. She kept in contact with us sending photos and checking in. Thank you again Janet & Duncan!!

Susan was the best! She was good with Magda AND our house. I think she left the house cleaner than we did when we left for our trip - and that’s saying something. It was obvious Magda loved being with her and Susan reciprocated that feeling with Magda. We highly recommend her.

I had a really lovely three week sit at Angela and Andy’s place with the sweetest senior cat Jive. The house was very cosy and had everything I needed for my stay including an outdoor space for any brief moment of sun! 

Angela had left clear notes regarding the house and how to look after Jive and it was all very straightforward. 

The area is really lovely - a sort of villagey feel despite being in London. Everything you need in terms of shops, gym, chemist etc is within walking distance and the train station a 10-12 minute walk away - buses even closer. I found it very easy to get around.

Jive: Jive was such a sweet personality to get to spend time with. I was genuinely very sad to leave him at the end of the sit. His needs are very straightforward and after a day or two we were best friends, with him sleeping next to me on the bed and following me around the house. What little darling. As a cat owner myself having his company made my stay all the sweeter.

We only got to meet Peepers on this sit and wow, she is the most lovely, snuggly kitty.  She never misses an opportunity to climb onto your lap and start purring.  Mariana's home is beautiful and the views are stunning.  We loved our time in Steamboat

Was a great sit! Sabrina is a very gracious / kind host, the place was beautiful, in a Norman Rockwellesq neighborhood, Dexter & Rocky are a couple of super fun loving pugsters who will keep you entertained from sunrise to sunset with their pug energy and their Blue Zone (very old) parrot was an ultra chill sit companion too. We are so glad and thankful for the time with Archie! He is such a great dog and the best snuggle and walking buddy you can wish for :) Livie is a great person and our communication was before and also during the sit very good and helpful. The apartment is amazing, super quiet, close to Central Park  (we often took Archie there for long walks and runs) and beautiful interior. What can I say but what a fabulous stay!! Riley and Josie are very cute characters who we truly enjoyed and got lots of laughs from.  Riley stayed right by us most of the time or he was looking out the window for squirrels!  Josie joined at times.  This neighborhood is one of the coolest places in Madison with so much history and close to excellent restaurants!  Excellent bars too!  Very close to the capitol too which is always a treat to see!
Esther was great and communicated with us and really made us feel welcome! She left us great notes and lots of treats for the dogs which they loved!   This area is wonderful place to explore and enjoy!

I had a thoroughly great time over Christmas at Fergus and Bethanys place, with wee Tom and mischievous but lovely Rocket. The house was comfy and location great! Thanks for everything. I would definitely recommend as a sit.
