Dave and I had a great stay at Cathy and Allen's beautiful home looking after Rosie. They were so easy to communicate with during our stay and the house was very clean when we arrived with clear instructions and notes. (Really appreciated this!) We loved all the nature and trails on this end of the city and did a lot of trail walks and exploring during our stay. We would definitely house sit here again!
Had a lovely week, petsitting Caspar, the German Shepherd. He's huge but such a gentle dog. Judith arranged a dog walker every day which was really handy. I just had to feed him, brush him and play with him each day. He loves living in the garden and conservatory and only occasionally asks for anything, i.e. treats! Judith and Paul were lovely. They sent regular texts to check everything was okay. Their house is beautiful, cosy and warm. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
We had a great time housesitting for Karen, Dan and Tilley Tilley is a lovely Labrador who loves to go on her walks . She has very good recall as well There are many walks nearby along the river and through the woods that we enjoyed taking her on The house is a lovely large house and garden in a very central location only 5 minutes walk from the shops and markets in Ludlow Communication with Karen was very easy and we were given a good handover and notes
I had a fantastic time sitting for Paul and Alison! Stevie is a darling old schnauzer who is happy with a simple walk round the block and a good belly stroke and will bring you your shoes every time you come back home! Spike is very affectionate but may or may not hang around with you during the day and Luna is a lovely beauty who loves a cuddle! The village is very quiet but has all the shops you may want with many lovely walks in the surrounding woods and countryside. The house is renovated and has everything you may possibly want with a range of tv channels. The instructions were very clear and I enjoyed arriving the night before and sharing a lovely dinner and drinks with them and their family. Highly recommended.
I had the most wonderful time housesitting for Stephanie and Holly and taking care of their lovely pets, Peggy, Binx, Arthur and Marcelo. Peggy is an absolute angel and so easy-going, just like the rest of the adorable family. Stephanie and Holly are truly amazing and generous hosts who made me feel more than welcome and are lovely to communicate with! I would jump at the chance to housesit for them again anytime. We had a great time looking after Poppy☺️ She is a really well behaved and the perfect mix of energetic and playful and relaxed and cuddly. A super easy dog to look after. We loved the walks around Harry’s place and the pub on the corner! A very comfy sit☺️

I have been bringing my bully princess Kova to Barkingham since it’s been open. The facility is so spacious and so clean. I love the open floor plan and the separate playing areas for the big and small dogs. There are plenty of kennel spaces for overnight guests. Andrea, the owner, is so kind and so loving to Nova. I love that her gentle giant Great Dane, Khal, is always there to keep the dogs company as well! She has 24/7 camera surveillance to make sure all is safe & constantly updates you on your dogs status. I love that she takes pictures to update you as well. Barkingham Pawlace has amazing vibes and I will continue to bring Nova here for play or when I go on vacation. Highly recommend you bring your fur baby here for some love & all the fun!!
I travel a lot and came across this company for doggy day care. I met the owner and immediately fell in love with her. She is so sweet and caring. I left my dog with her while I was in Europe. They took extra great care of my dog, I’ve never seen a company put so much effort in watching dogs. I wouldn’t go anywhere but here in the future.

I recently brought my doggy here and I was super impressed with the level of care and cleanliness Barkingham Pawlace has. The owner is super sweet and very attentive, a real animal lover for sure. My dog is older and though he's still playful, he's more cautious around other dogs. The owner made sure my dog was tended to and felt comfortable during play time. I will definitely be bringing my doggy back.
Took my French Bulldog there over a weekend and he had a great time! I was updated with pictures and the service I received was friendly and helpful. I’m always nervous leaving my little guy alone but Barkingham Pawlace is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone in the LA area. 10/10
Barkingham Pawlace is the very BEST daycare/boarding care establishment that I've had the pleasure of keeping my beloved puppy in. They are a very clean and puppy friendly environment for your furry friend! They keep your animals in open spaces to play with the other dogs and not caged for long periods of time. They are attentive toward your pets and will provide you with videos/pictures of your pet during their stay! They provide excellent care and I strongly recommend them!
From the moment you walk in, Andrea and her staff warmly greet you! The facility is very clean, bright, and welcoming. Our pup stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely return for all our daycare and boarding needs!
I am so happy that I found Barkingham Pawlace. I was never comfortable leaving my dog at any boarding place before, but now I am in total peace leaving my dog here. My 8 months old puppy was there for whole month, and she came back happy and healthy. Andrea keeps the place so clean and loves dogs like her own. She sent pictures and videos and updated how she is doing often. I will bring back my dog here anytime, and nowhere else.
