Talk about a great house-sit . . . it was such a delight for us to sit for Cris and Allan! They have a lovely country home with views of a peaceful pasture right outside their kitchen and family room windows. It was our first time taking care of goats with their guardian donkey and llama and we found that to be a uniquely peaceful experience. Cris and Allan were great communicators throughout the sit and blessed us with an evening of pleasant conversation and laughter as well as a nice meal. Their home is in the country and yet very close to everything you would need . . . it even comes with its own dance studio. Consider yourself fortunate to be selected by Cris & Allan for a housesit!
We had a lovely time at Clare and Jonathan's home, so much so we're back for another housesit soon! The house itself is both beautiful and incredibly spacious. It is nestled away in the Norfolk countryside and it felt like we were on a quiet getaway - no noise, no people, no traffic, just an idyllic setting and the perfect 4 companions to take for quiet walks. As for the dogs, well, what an amazingly well behaved, kind, and loving pack they are! Daisy, Penny, Pip, and Birdie are incredibly sweet. No troubles or issues at all, in fact, the opposite. They know their routine and are a pleasure to be around and look after. We fell in love with them! Claire and Jonathan provided very intuitive instruction on the dogs, the house, and anything that may arise. They were responsive with any questions we had and made the whole experience an absolute breeze. Would highly recommend Clare and Jonathan, their lovely home, and of course, the wonderful pack!
Sit of my dreams! I absolutely loved being up the canyon, out of service, in Michelle’s cozy cabin. It was just perfect and so nice being surrounded by the trees, the creek, and the mountain breeze. She had everything I needed to know printed out awaiting me, including maps to local hikes and awesome places to eat in the surrounding mountain towns. Her two big dogs were chilllll companions and loved being out on the property. We walked the the home doggie loop everyday, and they loved basking in the sunshine. My dog made an easy trio with them and we enjoyed mountain drives, local walks, and porch sits. They loved snuggles & being brushed. Michelle was in excellent communication and the perfect host. Her comfy bed with the window wide open next to it was the best sleep I’ve had in a while. I would do this sit again in an instant! Thank you Michelle, Sweet Lily, and Bhakti! 🌲

Katie’s home lies off the beaten path in the mountains just outside Asheville in a serene and beautiful setting. We were comfortable and had everything we needed, but the real treat was getting to know Eliza! A sweet and loyal companion, Eliza is up for any adventure or just a snuggle on the couch. She’s cute and silly but also ready to take on any perceived threats. A true mountain stay and a truly great dog!
I had an amazing stay through Christmas weekend at Chris’ very beautifully decorated loft through Christmas with Ron and Cirrus!! Ron cuddled with me at night at the end of the bed while I slept which was so sweet!! Cirrus was adorable and wanted to be in the same room with me as well! The ambiance, plants, and natural lighting through the windows was so peaceful, it was hard to leave for my next sit! I felt like I was truly on vacation. I would sit for Chris anytime when I’m in the Bay Area!
