Amy's home and kitties are now on our list of favorite US house sits. Her home is a vibe,; cozy, welcoming, beautiful. The decor, the collections of eclectic, interesting objects, the small library in a lovely sitting room, the garden - it's all really picturesque! She has amazing taste, but nothing feels fussy. And everything is spotless. Her kitties are young and olayful. Curious about everything. We had a lot of fun with them. The neighborhood has plenty of indie shops, coffee houses, breweries, and wonderful restaurants. We were so sad to leave.
Our sit in West Palm Beach with Gria and Denise was delightful and enjoyable, and we recommend it to you one hundred percent. You will be based on the 16th floor of an extraordinary and luxury condo, featuring a five-star hotel style swimming pool that you can use, valet parking and concierge. The condo is spacious and comfortable with very friendly neighbours, a great view at sunset from the balcony and is brilliantly located for the Brightline train to Orlando and a short walk into Rosemary Square where you can sit in deckchairs and enjoy coffee, food shops, restaurants and night life. It’s close by to the interesting historical neighbourhood where we also walked Gria and often onto the park. The area is lush full of bougainvillaea, hibiscus, coconut, papaya trees and orchids. It is possible to hire bikes from the hotel across the road if you want to explore using pedal power. We recommend the Saturday green market and the waterfront, it was a nice walk for Gria too. Denise is friendly and glamorous, easy going likeable and she kindly gave us an orientation of the area before she left and ensured that the condo was in pristine condition. She is popular in the block, and we met several of her lovely neighbours who spoke highly of her. There is a good community spirit! We sent her updates and photos via messenger and text. Gria is a fabulous lovable sweet natured endearing Cairn Terrier rescued from Costa Rica. She was easy going and straight forward to look after and settled with us very well. We loved her gentle nature and affectionate character always pleased to see you. She took to us both straightaway and we enjoyed cuddles and belly rubs and hugs with her on the sofa, it was a joy to care for her and easy to love her back. She liked the comfort of her blanket, playing with her puzzles and snuggling up with us on the bed at night. Gria mainly ate cooked fresh chicken with kibble and self-regulated her food intake including immediately recognising certain foods including the aroma of steak when we cooked it! Her happy place was the beach - she ran off lead safely with good recall. The two main beaches we took her to were beautiful unspoilt Lantana and Palm Beaches both about two miles drive in the car. It was a joy to see her running and so happy. An intelligent dog, she savoured her treats especially when they were hidden in her puzzles and she had to search for them. She disliked going out in the rain, was cautious with cats, walked well on the lead and loved to sniff everything and thought she could catch birds and squirrels! We were so happy to be chosen for this sit by Denise and loved all of it especially Gria who you will absolutely adore. We would certainly sit for Denise again if we had the opportunity.
Awesome sit! Home was neat, clean , and organized. Great communication with Carrie and Michael. ❤️ these pets. Eli is an easy-going chocolate lab. Ray Wiley will keep you entertained with his antics. You never feel lonely with him around. He's either close by, in your lap, or in front of your laptop. Great Austin location is a bonus!
I really enjoyed staying at Michael and Shirani’s house. They are very good people, kind and friendly. I had the opportunity to share some time with Shirani, and she is truly very lovely, smart and supportive. Michael provided me all the recomendations and isntructions in writting, which was very helpful, and we had always a good communication. The house is modern, the decor is very cool, spacious, with beautiful views. The sunlight comes in, and I enjoyed relaxing on the couch reading with Daisy by my side. Daisy is the sweetest little dog of Sydney!!!. She follows you everywhere and loves to be chased—it’s her favorite game. After a long walk, she comes back home with a lot of energy, she can sleep on your foot. She is very sweet, and I’m going to miss her a lot, she brought joy to my days, I had a wonderful experience in this house and family. I highly recommend staying and taking care of Daisy; you will love her!!! :)
This place is absolutely magical! Set on over 2 acres, far removed from the closest road and sides of traffic, you’ll encounter your own piece of serenity, while building strong relationships with the 6 furry and feathery companions that reside here. It must be said that you must love chickens and cats to fully immerse yourself in the wonders of this setting. (Although, I must admit, I am saying this, because I am so attached to these animals that I want to ensure that they receive a TLC caregiver). Ches is a funny little mix. She’s endlessly entertaining, and her cuteness level makes it hard for me to look at her and resist giving her a scrunch. She is a lovely equal mix of indoor and outdoor cat. What I mean by that is she certainly has her sneaky, hunting in sticks that are a pleasure to watch, but she also loves a good indoor/outdoor snuggle both in the morning night, and throughout the day. She is a consistent eater/sleeper and very healthy. She has a wonderful demeanor, and across our three months of this petsit she surely has become family. As for the ladies - Lucy, Coco, Queenie, Maple, and Fig - they are a fun flock to spend time with. They each have their own distinct personality and it’s fun to see how that leads to a contrast in their behaviors. However, they do love each other and on a sunny day you’ll often catch them sitting for hours in each other’s company, enjoying a dirt bath together. Leslie and Rob are consummate hosts. We felt so lucky to have the night before with them to introduce us to their home and animals. There is some low maintenance to be done of the lawn, and as we want to take good care of their home, it was nice to have that time to connect and review any property care instructions. Beyond the usefulness of this, it was also nice because Leslie prepared a wonderful dinner to share with us that evening. They extend a great deal of hospitality to their guests. Leslie was wonderful maintaining active communication while traveling. It was so nice to be able to ask her questions and receive answers promptly, and I loved her share of photos and details from her adventure in Italy! We loved this petsit so much that we are already planning to return for three more sits!

My dog Miso started attending daycare last week at Good Dog at the Pearl. Staff is beyond friendly and takes time to know the dogs. Everyday my dog was greeted by name by multiple employees. I can truly trust that my dog is safe and well taken care of. Plus they post on social which helps give me peace of mind and see what fun activities she’s doing during her stay.
My dog has been coming here since they pretty much opened. I love how personal they are with each dog, they know each dog, they know each dogs traits. They know who the dogs best play with. Lately since they’ve gotten a bit busier seems almost impossible to take my dog to the daycare since boarding gets first priority and considering the area the daycare is at, makes sense. That part does frustrate me, especially since I’ve been going since they first opened their doors. But I’m also proud of everyone and the business for growing as it has. I’ve tried other daycares only bc it is closer to my side of town, and I always find myself going back here for the good of my dog. Her happiness and excitement when she first picks up the smell of going to the building is something no other daycare has provided for her. If you want the “mom and pop” feel of a daycare that truly loves your dog(s) and isn’t transactional like most others, this is the place to come! Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Good Dog for daycare and boarding! They take great care of my elderly schnauzer who can be a bit high needs. The employees always recognize my dog, show her lots of attention, and give me an end of visit report. My dog is always excited to see her Good Dog friends (human and furry ones)! They are attentive with giving her medications when she does boarding and sensitive to her moody old age. Additionally, they offer flexible pickup and drop off windows that work well with my busy schedule. I feel so lucky to have found this place!!
My dogs spent the last week at Good Dog Boarding and Walks and had a great time! It was the most relaxed home coming they usually go nuts for me! Clearly they got lots of love! We had a little emergency and the manger Casey and her team took excellent care of Leo and made sure I knew immediately what was going on! I am pleased to find more affordable care and still have awesome service! It's 2 woofs for me! Woof woof! 👏 🐕 🐕
Good Dog at the Pearl has been a lifesaver for me! My dog absolutely loves to go to doggy daycare and has so much fun and comes home tired and ready to sleep. Good Dog also provides services to pick-up and drop-off your dog at home, and this has been so helpful. All the individuals I have encountered at Good Dog have shown how much they care for my dog. For example, my dog is not one to run up to strangers in public, but he saw individuals from Good Dog when we were out for a walk and he ran up to them immediately wagging his tail. My dog is always excited to go and spend the day there. I would highly recommend Good Dog if you are in need of care for your dog!
Our dog is absolutely obsessed with Good Dog. We live nearby, and he mopes and stares on days he doesn’t get to go see his friends. As soon as he knows he’s going, he sits to put his leash on and runs when the gate opens. The employees always receive him with just as much love as he gives them. We’ve been taking Waffles for almost 9 months now, I think, and he never seems to grow board of it. I think it also speaks well that he started going as a pretty young dude, and now has very good manners around other dogs. They also do cute things like holiday parties, enrichment play, and lots of social media posts. We love seeing updates about our boy.
Good Dog is the absolute best. When we moved to SA we were worried about finding a place for our new puppy to play during the day. We were so lucky to find Good Dog. They have the best workers who care about your dog and treat him/her like their own. They are flexible with scheduling and even offer a pick up / drop off option , which for us is a major plus and are so grateful for. Our pup absolutely loves it there and so do we. Some days too, we can even get her freshened up with some of their puppy spa offerings!!!! Thank you to Good Dog for taking such amazing care of our little one. You guys make us feel like family. ive only used daycare so far! i only wish i could spy on my dog while shes there lol but i trust that shes in good hands. i used a different company for boarding that did have cameras but it was only in the play area and the employees hardly engaged with the dogs + there were very little toys/activities for them to use. i would at least like the option like at Good Dog where i can pay extra for my dog to have 1:1 attention and exercise. the employees know my girl by name and anytime i email to add on additional services, theyre able to get it done. same thing w last minute booking, ive had great luck w this thus far. i do wish they had a bell in the lobby so i could get the employees attention when dropping off. its only been a problem once where i came in pretty much right when they opened and understandably, no one was at the counter, but since i was in a rush i think i noticed it more. fyi you only get a few pics or vids (usually 1) that are posted on their instagram, maybe sent via email if uploading/attaching allows. because of this, i may use rover in the future just so theres even more attention, photos & updates to go around (because im crazy & obsessed) but this is a great option for me right now, especially for daycare services
I took my dog here for day care and she had a blast !! The staff genuinely adores dogs and the playground is clean and cute with fans outside.
Our dog loved her first ever day at day care and I'm so glad we choose good dog. She had a fun day playing and I got a couple of really cute updates. She was well looked after, had lots of fun with the other pups and came back super tired... which is exactly what we had hoped for. She can be a bit scared of new people and they gave her enough space to feel comfortable and ease in, she had a wonderful time. We've booked her in again already and I'm sure she will now be a regular visitor!
I took my Bella very frequently during these last 2 years due to work (daily visits) and/or weekend trips (boarding). Bella was loved and taken care of here, and price was fair. I no longer need services as Bella has gone on to doggie heaven, RIP Bella. Joey's Legacy Doggie Daycare, thank you for taking care of my doggie like she was your own. Much love! 💕

This is the only place I feel comfortable boarding my 2 dogs. They have stayed here about 8-10 times and every time I have dropped them off and picked them up they are always so happy! They never seem stressed, depressed, or anxious. Communication is always good with drop off and pick up, and they will send you pictures of your animals/give you updates on them as well!
I go to a lot of trouble and drive hundreds of miles out of the way so we can go visit "Aunt Jakki" a few times a year. I should find somewhere closer, but the little one is so comfortable and had so many interesting friends to meet and has so much fun that we just don't want to go anywhere else. She is loved and cared for in her home away from home far more than she would be anywhere else, so we will probably keep coming to Aunt Jakki's for many more years. You can too,!
They were accommodating when two dozen other places would not be. I'm dropping my baby off tomorrow and will update this but I have high expectations and I truly believe she will outdo even those. Update: Years later and still my go to spot for boarding and daycare, just remember to get the pets bath before pickup

I took my dog to Home 2 Home for a 4 day stay. I couldn't be happier with my experience. He had a ton of fun and was well taken care of. Prices were extremely reasonable and the service was better than bigger boarding and daycare. I will be using Home 2 Home every time I need someone to look after my boy.

Metro Pup was a life-saver and fantastic addition to our wedding! We contacted Eric a month out when we decided last-minute to bring our dog to our destination wedding in San Antonio. Eric, Sean, & the MetroPup crew are absolutely fabulous in every way! First, as people, they give loving care to my 2 cats when I am away. My cats love them both and are always so happy to see them. When I get home my cats are never scared and always their playful selves. They much prefer visits with Eric & Sean over being boarded and I can tell every time I come home. I also appreciate the daily reports on my cats wellbeing and photos so I can see them get pets during their visits. It is so great to see them happy when I’m away. Love this service! We know our fur babies are well taken care of when we travel. I love the app and getting updates on how each visit goes. Eric did our first trip and brought in Sarah to help on our second trip. Both are AMAZING. We will continue to use Metro Pup whenever we travel or need dog sitting/walking.

One of the neatest services they offer is their wedding pet attendant. It might sound crazy, but it was very important to me to have my old man Bulldog Rufus in my wedding. Metro pup made this the easiest thing in the world. They made sure my furry son was on time and in the exact place. They walked him down the aisle and made sure he stayed in the right place throughout the wedding. They were perfect and turned what could have been something that made a stressful day harder, and made it seamless. I could not give this service any higher of a recommendation. Metro Pup stands out from the pack as hands-down the best dog walkers we have ever had in our 3 years in San Antonio (or elsewhere for that matter). From the first meet and greet session, we knew our dog Ghost was going to be fast friends with Gerrit. Every day, Ghost waited eagerly by the door for his buddy to arrive for their daily walk. Gerrit always treated Ghost like family, giving him the time he needed to sniff the flowers, a treat when he returned, a clean water bowl, and lots of belly scratches. After the walk, we would always receive a nice little summary of the walk accompanied by awesome photos (examples below). In the rare instance Gerrit couldn't be there, Eric and the rest of the MetroPup team could be counted on to fill in. Never did we have to scramble to find a last-minute walker or worry about putting our pup in the hands of a complete stranger. The app they use (Time To Pet) makes scheduling appointments, communicating with the team, and receiving photos of the walk a breeze. I have absolutely zero hesitation in recommending Metro Pup to anyone who needs a dog walker in San Antonio. As we move away, I know that Ghost is going to miss his buddy and we will miss the peace of mind that Metro Pup provided.

Amy and Rachel are the best. They always take great care of our fur babies. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs and are great with all of them. Several times we have needed last minute care and they have always been willing to help out however they can. It's been a true life line for my wife and I since we both travel for work often.

Could not recommend Amy more! She is so sweet and kind and accommodating. She’s been taking care of my kitties for years and always takes the best care of them. One of my cats had diabetes and Amy took such good care of her and took care of her when her blood sugar was too low and she was having problems. It is always such a comfort for me knowing that she is taking care of them. Recently had Amy’s daughter Rachel take care of my kitty and she was equally as caring and sweet! We used 4 Luv N Care Pet Sitting to visit & feed our dogs & cats while we were away for an extended weekend. The service was excellent. We were given updates on the status of our pets during our trip and returned to happy & healthy pets who seemed disappointed that it was us returning rather than the pet sitter who cared for them while we were away.
I had to go out of town for 5 days and my little (big) fur baby kitty was so well taken care of by Amy. She treated my cat like he was hers. He needed pills twice a day and had to eat at certain times. She spent quality time with him brushing him, sending me pictures and texts (and notes when I got back on everything). I had such peace of mind with her. I have recommended her to 3 of my friends and will continue as she exceeded my expectations. She truly loves animals and loves doing this. There is nobody better for you to put your trust in.
We absolutely adore Amy! My pooch loves to visit and gets along great with the pack. She takes the dogs for daily walks, and always provides updates or pictures. Not to mention, Amy has over 11 years experience as a Vet Tech, so I feel at ease knowing my baby is in great hands.

Being our pet sitter requires someone who is extremely conscientious, responsible, and obviously very patient! Knowing Danielle is there with our dogs gives us the peace of mind to enjoy our time away from home. We love getting the messages and pics she sends every day as well. She takes impeccable care of my Australian Shepherd Treasures, she relieves me from guilt & binds I get in, she addresses their health needs with knowledge I will never have, she grooms them with comfort and health in mind, she keeps me informed with lots of photos & text messages from hour 1 through pickup, and she makes me LAUGH. So very grateful.
Since 20 Apr 2022, I have been utilizing the services there. Previously I had gone to different grooming and care services for my dog. I continue to attend Dharma's Bed and Biscuit because the service is unique. How so you may wonder. Anytime schedule an appointment the service show up at my home on time. Also they are typically ahead of schedule and they will come to your home or business with their mobile unit with your permission early. That alone helps me continue get to my other daily routines. This summer 2024 the owner's main A/C unit went out of service. The owner improvised and moved all of her fur guest into an A/C garage with all their food, water, beds, cages, and other supplies. Any pets owner is aware of the unfortunate risks incurred by leaving them with just anyone while on a vacation that the pets can not travel to. The care and gentleness given by Dharma's Bed and Biscuit is rare. I highly recommend this mom and pop store.
Absolutely incredible. My dogs, as well as us humans, feel safe, secure and at peace knowing they are getting the care they so deserve. I love that it is a little oasis away from home where they can run, play and relax in the comfortable environment that is Dharma’s Bed and Breakfast. I can’t say enough positive about it! Charlie is the dog whisperer, she has an energy that is so uplifting and the animals feel it as soon as they get on the property! The grooming services are fantastic as well. They can literally do it all!!
Dharma's has become like a second home to our dog, and he always greets Charlie with happy tail wags and lots of kisses! He loves and trusts her, even though he's only been with her every few weeks for either grooming or boarding over the past 3 years. Charlie combines knowledge and experience with tons of love for the dogs she has in her home, and we know that it's been a happy, safe place for our dog. I had the best experience with Charlie! She sent me so many pictures of my sweet puppy while I was away and treated her like her very own by letting her sleep in bed with her and snuggle! Then, when I came to pick my pup up, Charlie let me know that she likely had an ear infection, and that she may have allergies and suggested a food that she could eat that is for dogs with allergies She even suggested an allergy medicine. I took my dog to the vet and she did in fact have an ear infection that luckily Charlie found way before I would have and I was able to get my pup the treatment she needs before it got any worse. I can tell that Charlie really really loved my pet as much as I do and I would absolutely use her services again. She is so wonderful!
By far one of the best experiences I’ve had with our furry family members. Our dogs love Charlie and there is truly something special about her household. All the visitors get along well and it’s so nice to have someone as passionate about taking care of your pets as Charlie. Dharma’s Bed and Biscuit is part of our family as long as they’ll have us! Charlie is truly a Dog Whisperer. She gave me some really helpful tips on caring for my dog Abby. Type of food to use and amount. I see a huge difference in Abby's weight and the condition of her coat, also in her gait since she's a 13 year old Lab. Thank you so much Charlie, you are the Best. Charlie has been taking care of our pups grooming needs for a while now. She just watched our pup while we went out of town for Thanksgiving! We have never left our pup before. She sent pics of him having fun everyday and really put us at ease with how attentive she was to our fur baby. I will definitely use her services again when we go out of town.

My huge, 3 year old Great Pyrenees, Ghost, boarded at this location recently in Dec 2024 for three days and we took advantage of their half off bath as as add on service. He was in great spirits and smelling great during pick up. The staff were friendly and helpful during the process and I will be recommending to all my friends and relatives in the area ☺️
Staff is great and show a lot of care and attention to my Freckles. He walks right in with the staff and is tired but well when he comes home. Highly recommend. I’ve used them ever since we moved back to Texas in 2017. Arfin Awesome!
We are always so comfortable with leaving our fur babies, Molly and Jet at Lucy’s. Their mobile app makes the check in/check out process so easy. We also book with a click of a few buttons too! I have always had really great experiences with Lucy‘s grooming services. Brandon is our groomer of choice, our Shih Tzu Ollie just loves his visits with Brandon and we are always very pleased with Brandon‘s grooming services and how well he takes care of Ollie, along with the staff.
Truly LOVE this boarding facility for my dogs, worth the money for your fur legged babies to stay here. Place was super well kept and the staff were awesome and very informative. They were very communicative when it came to changes in my dogs which made me feel more at ease having them there. Also opted for the video cameras so I could check in on my dogs during their stay. I used the self serve dog wash right before taking them home so that was super convenient and easy to use. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for boarding or the self serve doggy wash!
I made a last minute booking to board my baby Milo at Lucy’s Downtown location. I could tell right away upon arrival that I had made the right choice. They were very kind and gentle with my rambunctious boy. Thank you so much! Highly recommend 10/10!
First time coming here and I totally recommend. I used the self-serve station and it was super easy to shower my dog. He weighs 92lbs and he fits comfortably in the tubs. One of my favorite things was the soap hose. I was able to evenly lather my huge dogs coat with out taking forever. The downtown self serve does close at 6pm so check the hours. I mistakenly showed up at 6pm since on google it shows the hours but it’s for the actual daycare at 8pm not the wash station. Other than that definitely recommend!
Absolutely 💯 + experience. I can't believe it took me so long to bring my babies here . My Boy Maxx was groomed so so awesome. I never saw a beautiful coat of hair on him for all the years I've had him. The groomer Stefanie did a fantastic job. I also took 2 other smaller babies 2 chihuahuas and they looked so happy and believe me they smelled so so good. Unbelievable Great job. The staff are very helpful and very great. I am so happy with the outcome I went ahead and booked my other 2 dogs for next Saturday. Thank you so much.
We are winter Texans and love to take our pups to Lucy’s. They always have a great time playing with the other dogs. I would highly recommended them for day care.
usually not the type to write reviews but tail waggerz has definitely earned 5 stars and I’d give them more if I could! When moving into a new house my dog (who has extreme separation anxiety) became extremely destructive at home, so that’s why we looked into tail waggerz and it was the best decision ever, my baby is taken care of very well as if he was their own and is now so excited and happy to go after being very scared in the beginning, we also brought him for boarding while on a family trip we couldn’t bring him on and there were no issues whatsoever, and also got pictures & updates! Absolutely love this place and I couldn’t recommend it enough, my dog also loves it here! -Love Archie
Our 1.5yr GSD is a high energy pup that was becoming destructive at home. While we were apprehensive to send him anywhere, it was needed on our long work days. The prices are amazing, the flexibility to drop him off at late notice is so appreciated. We are teachers who work nearby so the location is perfect. The staff, and owners are friendly and amazing & we truly appreciate them. We also recieve emailed photos during visits which we also enjoy. Our boy comes home tired and we are given clarity in knowing 1.Our home isn’t flipped upside down on longer work days 2. He is taken care of. I highly recommend TailWaggerz.
Draco had a great first day at doggy daycare! He is such a social dog and loves playing with other dogs. I knew TailWaggerz was the perfect fit for him as they allow interactive play for ALL dogs and do not stereotype breeds like some facilities do. They sent photos and were so pleased with how friendly he is with all the dogs. Safe to say, he was worn out when we got home! He can’t wait to go back. We will be using TailWaggerz regularly now for doggy day care and boarding! Staff is wonderful and so friendly. Your pup is in great hands here!
I have been taking my 4-legged child there for over a year. I love the management, the staff.On days (weekend s) he doesn't go. By monday,he is soooo excited to get there.He is like a kid that has never been outside. The owners have worked with me on short notice when he had to stay longet,or even over nite. Yes,this is the place to take YOUR VIP BABY!!!!
Tail Waggerz is the best. I was worried how our fur baby would do for boarding because it was his 1st time. They offered a meet-and-greet. That helped so much and I can tell they really care about the well being of our fur baby and the rest of the doggies there. We left our fur baby there and had absolutely no issues. He was so happy in the pictures they sent us. They also did a great job for grooming. I highly recommend this family owned business. Thanks to the owners and the staff. You deserve the 5 stars! We will definitely be back when we need it.
Dropped our dog off for a 2-hour stay and play for a boarding evaluation. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all, and we weren't offered a tour of the facility due to an apparent insurance policy, despite other places we've been consulting offering us a tour. The dogs are not separated by size, but by temperament. Our dog Penny, who has consistent trips to the dog park and has two chiweenie siblings she plays with at home, "attacked" two dogs sniffing her that "weren't as playful". The space that the dogs are in sounds very small, and like it can be overstimulating, and she was just thrown into general population which doesn't create an environment proper for dogs to meet. I understand that at the end of the day, dogs are wild animals so I would never say that it's impossible that Penny would be aggressive towards another, but the vague description of what happened is wildly inconsistent with her sweet and playful personality, along with her lack of aggression towards any other pups. The only new factor was this facility, which clearly isn't the right fit. We took her over to Pet Suites Stay and Play, where they welcomed Penny so warmly and is a standalone building allowing for more space to where the front lobby doesn't smell, we received a tour, there are different sized suites for dogs, an indoor play area, outdoor play area, and there is a temperament test, and they emphasize taking the process of meeting other dogs very slow to ensure they meet other pups on neutral ground and not under stress. Highly recommend Pet Suites Stay and Play on Potranco and Richland Hills if you don't get the right vibes or experience at Tail Waggerz. Dismiss me as the one crazy customer who goes against the grain of positive reviews this place has, and have a great day.
I really wanted to like this place because of it's glowing reviews (some are very outdated) however based on our interaction with staff I would have to abide by my one-star rating, zero if I could. Our greeting was " hello you're here for the meet and greet correct" , no excitement. It really is obvious that the employees don't want to be there or just maybe were having a bad day regardless it's not the way you welcome a potential new customer. I asked to see the facility and they would only show me pictures that they admitted are outdated and haven't been updated since renovations. Their play area from what they told me is smaller and has all the dogs put together big and small and so our dog was thrown into the situation without proper care and understanding of what a meet-and-greet should be. They told us she "attacked" other dogs with zero provocation, very outside her character. I asked to possibly see video bc I wanted to better understand what happened. She said the cameras "don't record" in the spot where it happened. We took her to a different location (same day) who explained the entire meet and greet process went over what that looks like, what it incorporates and how they like to make sure dogs aren't just thrown in with everyone off the bat. This can cause a dog to get overwhelmed and act outside their character bc of being overstimulated so fast with no buffer. TailWaggers also had a really bad smell to it and they do pride themselves on cleanliness however that was not apparent when you first walk in and in comparison to the place that we ended up taking her to that smelled really good when we walked in, we know it is possible just something that isn't a priority. In comparison the place we are taking her to was only $2 extra a night with her own suite and big play area for only big dogs and you get so many more amenities as well. Glad there are folks who enjoy this place however please do your research, explore other places and know that there are other options besides TailWaggers nearby that are more welcoming, more attentive and have more amenities for your pup for a similar cost.
Cannot say enough great things about Tail Waggerz! I’ll start with what we loved the most. We received email updates and pictures of our cat while we were away! The fit us in last minute, took excellent care of our kitty, administered his oral meds daily, very affordable and overall provided excellent customer service from beginning to pick up! Thank you and we will definitely use you again when we travel!
Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time, in a row, that our pups have gotten some kind of upper respiratory infection after being boarded here. They are great people and love animals but I'm afraid a good clean or something needs to be done as it's not a coincidence that it's happened again. Im just being honest with my review as I am with all my reviews.
I took my pup, Luna, for her first day of doggy daycare today. The staff were so welcoming and she got a glowing review for her first day! She is a high energy girl and so it was great for her to spend the day getting out her energy and socialize with other pups.
