We had the pleasure of housesitting for Kerry and her adorable dog Ella recently, and it was a fantastic experience! Kerry was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment we met, making us feel right at home in her stunning house. The house itself was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished, with plenty of natural light and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy. Taking care of Ella was an absolute joy - she is such a sweet and well-behaved dog, and we loved spending time with her. Kerry provided us with clear instructions on her care routine, making the whole process very straightforward and easy. Overall, I would highly recommend housesitting for Kerry and taking care of her lovely Ella. It was truly a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful home and spend time with such wonderful hosts. Thank you again for the opportunity! 😊
This was my first housesit with Trusted House Sitters and it couldn't have been more perfect! Beth and Lizzie were so warm and welcoming, leaving an extensive welcome pack with lots of lovely walking routes nearby as well as dog friendly cafes and restaurants! They were kind enough to even pick me up from the train station. Tetbury is absolutely stunning, a lovely break in the countryside and in a friendly town. I loved meeting Skye and Flint. Both dogs were so well behaved, we went on long walks, had cuddles and played in the garden. Although it was only a short stay I became quite attached both Skye and Flint and miss them already. Would definitely sit again!
We loved this sit in so many ways. Winnie and Jessie are just adorable dogs, in very different ways (and sizes!). Jessie absolutely loves her long countryside walks, whereas Winnie is content with slightly shorter trips out on her shorter legs - so we adapted our walking routines to cater to them both. Sarah is such a thoughtful host, leaving lots of foodie treats for us to enjoy and she provided a very thorough but relaxed handover. This is a lovely comfortable home, and a stunning area, with so many walks, cycle rides and nature sites to visit along the coastline. Most are dog friendly and all within a half hour cycle or car ride. Both dogs loved cuddling up on the sofa of an evening, competing for "closeness" and we just loved being around them both - no trouble at all. Would happy return here anytime we are free and highly recommend. Thanks so much Sarah, and we look forward to seeing you all again some time in the future!
Mandy and Gary couldn't have been more welcoming or hospitable. They are both very down to earth and very easy to get on with. They explained all the aspects of the day to day functionality of their home (lots of buttons for lots of things :)) and the needs of Louie, Elsie, and Thea. Mandy & Gary took time out to take us to and familiarise us with Louie and Elsie's favourite walks, and even provided a 'dog mobile' for us to use to accommodate the two 'bears'. Louie is just a lovable, laid-back gentle giant, and Elsie ensured we were never bored. They absolutely loved the beach down at Seaham and happily spent hours there, swimming, chasing stones, and generally entertaining themselves. And at home, they kept themselves amused by dog play-fighting and playing with each other in the garden or charging around their adjoining paddock. They are both very compliant on their leads and are no bother around other dogs. Thea just spent the sit sleeping, eating, and coming and going as she pleased and was no bother at all. Mandy & Gary have a lovely, spacious home in a nicely secluded, peaceful location, with a view to die for and ensured we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable sit. They checked in with us to ensure we'd had no problems, whilst at the same time leaving us to our own devices. We had a great two weeks and we cannot recommend house-sitting for Mandy & Gary highly enough, and we would certainly not hesitate to return.
We had a wonderful time house-sitting for Helen and Simon! They are so warm and welcoming! They settled us into the house and gave us a perfect introduction from everyone. Communication was excellent the whole time, and we were always kept in the loop. It was a pleasure looking after Layla and Doris, both are adorable and well-behaved. There are wonderful walks in the fields, and Layla likes to go offlead and bathe in the river. We enjoyed our time and hope to see Helen, Simon, Layla and Doris again. We can fully recommend this house.
Cozy and convenient home - I also liked that Megan made off-street parking available for my van. I appreciated getting to spend time with Megan's well adjusted young cats. I had forgotten what cool creatures chinchillas are - and SO SOFT!
