So many great things about this sit, I hardly know where to start. Firstly, Gill and Barry and very kind, hospitable people and they made me feel very comfortable and welcome. They live in a gorgeous home in a very peaceful picturesque village in Hicking, in the Norfolk broads. Both, pups, Emmy and Bertie are very easy to look after, and look forward to a nice shorter walk in the mid-morning and then they are very happy to lounge for many hours near you. Bertie is a sweet little character who loves carrying around his various toys. Emmy was a little more aloof initially, but by the end of the sit she was loving her belly rubs and covering me with kisses regularly! The home is warm and very cozy, and you will have everything you need! Gill and Barry were especially gracious, inviting me to stay an extra day and we enjoyed some nice dinners and conversation together. I do hope I will be able to return to Hickling at some point in the future and I recommend this housesit highly!! Thank you, Gill and Barry!!
It was a fabulous week looking after Maisie. She's an amazingly friendly and confident cat, and each evening was very cosy with her on our laps. Melissa is lovely and her home is beautiful and so comfortable. Thanks for everything Melissa, hopefully see you again in future!
I absolutely loved taking care of Xylo! He's sweet and affectionate, plus Kate and Michael were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. Xylo and I had a blast exploring the lovely neighbourhood and of course, one of the best parts was chilling on the couch with Xylo. He’s a great cuddle buddy and loved following me around the house. His morning wake-up routine with his wagging tail was the perfect way to start the day. :) A big thank you to Kate and Michael for their warm hospitality and for trusting me with Xylo. It was such a joy, and I hope to have the opportunity to pet sit Xylo again in the future, I already miss him!
