I can't express in words how much joy I had from staying at Keith and Olive's home looking after Pepper and Toffee, but I'll try my best. After a delightful dinner with Kitties mom and dad and a peaceful night's sleep I woke up to the most glorious of country quiet setting in the charming cottage surrounded by beautiful views and absolute tranquility. My morning coffee was shared with the sheep on neighbouring farm fields and the beautiful sound of birds. Both Kitties were usually scarce in the morning but evidence of snacking during the night brought great comfort. Whenever I had a question Keith was quick to respond and we also could not resist sharing beautiful moments of my stay and their journey with photos and mini conversations. This was a delightful exchange and a pure bonus to what I can only describe as a magic stay at Samson Hill accompanied by two gorgeous companions, Pepper and Toffee. I wouldn't hesitate to return whenever the opportunity arises again. I just have to mention the books! So many books, so little time, such interesting titles! If one were to be snowed it it would lend a marvellous opportunity to just read and read and read some more. Thank you Keith, Olive, Pepper and Toffee. So glad we met ❤️
We loved sitting Izzy and Minka for Florian and Silke at their lovely home near Essen. Izzy, is friendly and inquisitive, she brought joy to each day with her playful energy. Minka, though initially cautious, became an affectionate companion throughout our stay following us around the house and garden. Florian and Silke were friendly and welcoming. Their Welcome Guide provided clear instructions for the cats' care and home. There were suggestions for places to visit and information about local events. We also appreciated the opportunity to harvest fresh produce from their garden. Thank you for trusting us to care for Izzy and Minka and your lovely home. We would love to return should the opportunity arise.
Harold and Leonard are sweet lovable animals. Easy to care for and a delight to be around. Kyle and Ashley-Jane are friendly professionals who are effective communicators. Their house is neat and comfortable, their animals well behaved and social, and sitting instructions were very well organized. You just can't help but smile around these brothers:) They are an absolute joy.
Beautiful home and fun cats! Wonderful couple for parents too! Close to everything thecarea has to offer. Hoping to return next year...but if I don't get to go, jump at the chance!
This was a lovely and enjoyable sit. Prior to it I met Anne and her two beautiful dogs, Frank and Trevor. They are very chilled and extremely gentle dogs who loved their walks both on and off the lease with excellent recall. Anne's apartment, on the second level, is very comfortable. Anne is a very responsive host with everything clearly explained beforehand along with leaving clear written instructions. She also went to the bother of buying in some gluten free produce which was extremely thoughtful and delicious. Thank you Anne it was a pleasure minding your adorable dogs.
Tim and Sandra have a wonderful house and Marshmellow and Pepper are so adorable and fun to be with. I miss the snuggles I would get each morning to wake up. The neighborhood is amazing with great parks and trails to walk around and the neighbors are very friendly. I would sit for Tim and Sandra again!
