I loved this sit! Sheila is a relaxed, kind host and her home is clean, comfortable, light and quiet. The three cats are sweet and funny in their own individual ways. They were very affectionate with me and I completely fell in love with them! I would very happily return to Sheila’s if the opportunity arises.
What a wonderful first experience with this app. Terri was lovely and communicative. Her home was fantastic and Winston was just adorable and lovely! It was hard to leave him! We would be v lucky to have another sit like this one!
Sara and Jose are very accommodating, welcoming, and kind and Tego is such a bundle of cuteness and energy! I truly enjoyed spending time with him and being in their beautiful house! That being said, the reason I put four rather than five is twofold: 1, while Tego is very loving and fun to be around, he is a big dog with very little sense of personal space which can be a bit overwhelming especially first coming into the house. He would jump and get mouthy, biting at my arms, hands, or face (not too hard or aggressively and I personally know I can handle it, but it’s definitely a concern especially if they ever had someone who wasn’t confident and it had me concerned about taking him with me to any dog friendly restaurants or places). 2, I know they only just recently moved to this new place, so I’m sure over time this will shift, but the apartment does have a very clear “not fully moved into” feel. Totally understandable, but things like no nightstand or no kettle or coffee maker do make a bit of a difference. Overall I was very happy to get to know Tego though!
Looking after Milly was a dream :) She is very affectionate and a great tour guide on neighbourhood walks. She travels well in the car and is an excellent companion on longer country rambles. We especially like that she is allowed on the couches with us in the old lounge - Milly is a super snuggler! Fiona and Paul's home is very comfortable and has everything you need including a generous ensuite bathroom in the housesitter's bedroom. It's an easy walk into the centre of Cirencester and there's lots to see. We would be very happy to stay with Milly again. Thanks for a lovely sit :)
What a beautiful home Michele and Larry have. They are both wonderful people! Blue and Winston were an absolute Dream! So sweet, loving and well behaved! 💕 It was hard to say goodbye to them. I highly recommend this beautiful family and home for your sit near Nashville!
I absolutely loved sitting for Mark and Lex. The house is in a gorgeous remote spot, it's like a peaceful mountain retreat, and I took many beautiful walks from their front door. Suki and LB are little sweethearts and were super easy and fun to care for. I was curious to see exactly how the indoor/outdoor situation would work, but the cats clearly have their routines and made it all very simple and easy. It took a few days for each of them to get used to me, but once they warmed up they were all purrs and snuggles. The house had every comfort I could want, plus an amazing vegetable garden which Mark and Lex invited me to pick whatever I wanted to eat. and all instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Mark and Lex are kind and down-to-earth people and excellent communicators. I also met both of their neighbors who were my emergency contacts, and all of them were just lovely people. I would sit here again in a heartbeat!
