Our stay with Joey in DC was great. Joey was a well-behaved, easy-going cat, and was an absolute joy to care for. The home was located in a quiet, super-walkable, neighborhood. While there, our host, Mike, did an excellent job ensuring we were comfortable. He kept in great contact with us during the entirety of our stay, and his requests and instructions were always straight-forward and easy to follow. Joey was a superb housemate. This stay was a pleasure.
5 star sit from beginning to end. James and Ali are warm, welcoming and friendly. We felt completely at home the minute we arrived. Their beautiful home is in an idyllic location with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. James and Ali's dogs Murphy and Missy are just adorable. Missy is a gentle old lady and Murphy is full of energy. Murphy was our permanent shadow always within arms reach for a cuddle. We would recommend this sit without hesitation and would happily return if the opportunity arises.
Where shall I start... in a nutshell...beautiful locality, beautiful estate, beautiful neighbours, beautiful house, and beautiful dogs. The entire process from start to finish was excellent. Janet and Chris are such lovely and down to earth people, but also highly responsible and communicative too. Their dogs Honey and Charlie are adorable and will be (already are) missed. The neighbours treated me like a long time resident and were invaluable company as I unexpectedly did this sit by myself (my partner unable to join). They were polite, generous and welcoming. The local shops were ideal for all kinds of groceries and the highlight of the location are of course the wineries. No snobbery to be found - Australians are very down to earth and I was made welcome at each and everyone despite my unseasonable wearing of shorts in winter - ha. Assuming dates and availability worked out, I'd be back in a heart beat. See you Honey & Charlie. Be good!
It was a pleasure to stay at Hannah’s home. It’s in a lovely, walkable neighborhood and it was cozy warm and peaceful. The care for the kitties was fairly simple - feeding, cleaning, water. Spent almost a full day on the sofa working with them both curled up nearby. Fell asleep once and had whiskers sniffing me to wake me. The guest room has an attached bath and the king sized bed was super comfy. The communication was clear, including the trash instructions and across to the backward.
I stayed with Gon & Charlie and I had an amazing time. They were very playful, sweet and cuddly. Kazuna is a great homeowner. Everything went smoothly. Communication was great, instructions were detailed. I would highly recommend them to all other house sitters. I’d be happy to come back anytime!
We enjoyed our time at Karl's lovely home in the village of Emsworth. Dylan is a lovely lively dog who loved long walks and playing in the garden. There are plenty of stunning walks in the local area to take him on. I loved watching him run up and down at great speed! Hamish the cat was very cute. He warmed up to us after a few days and used to come in the evening for sofa cuddles :)
