We were very happy with Karen and Andy to house sit for us. As our house had only been lived in for 5 weeks they treated it as if it was their own. They are most welcome in our home any time. Karen and Andy are the most wonderful couple who are full of life and enjoy travelling the world thus making them the perfect house sitters.
The charming house and the pets, Mr. J, the dogs and the hens truly make this place special. Mouse is playful and full of energy, eager to chase the ball or explore new trails. George is calm and always ready for a cruddle. Such a lovely giant. Mr. Jingles is on adventure in the evening. While the hens sat next to each other during the night. So cute. It was a delightful experience. Thanks for the warm welcome and the perfect stay!!
We loved this sit! Ralphie is the most affectionate and personable cat; he will just come up and sit on your lap nuzzling and purring. It takes a bit of time to win Goober’s trust but then she’s as sweet as can be. And what can we say about Wilson? Such a character, that one. He’s very social, loves to be out and about, and charms everyone he meets. We took him to the dog park frequently and along to cafes and restaurants where he was no trouble and always a bit hit. In the house, he loves his treats! (And will loudly let you know that lol) Their home is comfortable and relaxing and Kate and Brian were extremely accommodating. We had some unusual requests but they were always pleasant and helpful. Overall, very enjoyable. We miss the little ones!
Pet sitting for Silvia was a real pleasure! Her house is beautiful and very comfortable, with wonderful views from the big terrace. Her furry friends are just lovely and Silvia herself was super welcoming from the start and very easy to communicate with. Spillo is the most adorable dog we ever had as sitters, and we had many so far! Very obedient and affectionate, he's a little scared when meeting other dogs. His sweet eyes will simply win you over! Polpetta the lady cat is the boss of the pack and loves to sleep on the bed with you, while Sibillone, the ginger cat, is very quiet and always ready to purr when you cuddle him. They're really friendly with people, and warmed up to us super quickly (which is not always the case with cats!). You will need a car to get around and reach the beautiful beaches or the charming little villages nearby, or to just wander around the hilly countryside of this wonderful Italian region. We highly recommend this sit and hope to have a chance to come back!
Monica is very kind, friendly and easy to communicate with, she left detailed instructions and we went through everything before she left. Two cats JoeJoe and Chevy were super sweet and gentle in their demands for attention - they would climb on the chair behind me and pet my head, feels so nice ☺️ Apparently JoeJoe loves rides in the backpack, so I tried to take him on the bike rides, it was my first experience and I loved it 😻 During my stay there was also a foster cat Charlette from rescue, very traumatized, I did reiki for her and we created a good progress, I wish I had time to heal her more, poor kitty needs love but is scared of everyone. Location is great too - close to downtown, restaurants, and walking distance to Safeway.
