Had a great sit here. Wonderful cats and hosts in a very comfortable environment. Jessica and Josh were clear communicators and responded quickly to any questions I had throughout their trip. The cats were sweet and fun and mostly well behaved. They love to play and we spent a lot of time with strings and lasers as well as brushing and cuddling. Upon arrival, I found the place very clean, welcoming and well stocked for all cat and human needs. Would gladly stay here again next time!
We thoroughly enjoyed this housesit. Nancie and Tom are friendly, fun and extremely generous, the house was immaculate when they handed to us, with all that you could ask for to have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The view of the lake from the house is meditative in the morning and enchanting in the evening, we specifically enjoyed the vistas of the hot air balloons flying across the lake right from the porch. Pagosa Springs is a beautiful surprise for us, the town is a gem with lots of explore including the wonderful hot springs, and the surrounding trails are amazing. Nancie and Tom provided mountain bikes and kayaks which we took advantage of and appreciated much. Yet the best part of this house sit is definitely Zeus! Zeus is a beautiful large white husky with a noble composure and a deep voice, very knightly and respectful, he is an independent guy, thus super easy to care for, he’s normally quiet in his own world. But he is not aloof, and has a gentle way into your heart. We fell in love with Zeus over just a couple days. He’s very intelligent too, when we walk him we let him guide us where he wants to go, and he took us on different paths almost everyday! We loved when he took us to the National Forest trails, he played with such free spirit and exuberant energy that we both feel exulted afterwards. He would talk to us when he feels like it and we loved having a conversation with him. All in all, Zeus is a very special and precious dog that we hope one day to hang out with again.
Althea is a great host. She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. Her place is very clean and in a great location. Winni is very sweet, well-behaved, cuddly, and easy to care for. I enjoyed walks and smells in the neighborhood and snuggles on the sofa. The neighborhood has great restaurants and lovely cafes. This sit was a great experience and I highly recommend it!
Ruth was very welcoming and she even gave me the opportunity to stay a night earlier. She gave me very useful informations about the bus timetables and the restaurants nearby. Unfortunately there was a train strike at the time and I had to arrive earlier but she was very understanding and easy to talk to and even cooked me some dinner. She showed and explained everything in the apartment very well and Ziggy was easy going too. Ziggy is very kind and loves to follow you everywhere. He's very interested in water, so you'll never shower alone!😄 I think he's a perfect mix of independent (loves to sit on the roof and spend time for himself) and cuddly. I really loved the stay at Ruth and Ziggys Apartment and would really recommend it. Thanks!😊
One of the most wonderful sits we’ve done, and we’ve done a lot of them ;) Popeye was an absolute pleasure of a pup to watch. We looked forward to our morning walks on the beach. He was the perfect dog to bring on excursions, as he was totally all about sticking with his people and just playing with his ball! He definitely has a lot of energy to release, so just something to keep in mind when doing a sit! Chris was easy to communicate with and helped us a ton with the smooth transition the first day, plus giving us all the good tips for the island. And finally, the house was a dream too. We miss waking up to the sea views and getting to know all the locals! Thank you for everything and so excited to hear how your Corfu plans pan out!
Tess and Tilly are very timid dogs who are no trouble at all. Was a pleasure to take care of them
