What a treat! The great city of Asheville, a beautiful home, and two darling, playful kitties--a great combination for a happy, enjoyable sit. Debbie provided detailed instructions for the care of her kittens and home and was responsive with communication the whole time. By day, Sport and Jasmine provided lots of laughs and entertainment, and by night, were ready to settle in laps for cozy snsuggles. Everything was just right, and we hope to return soon. A highly recommended sit!
I spent a week with Piper. She’s so sweet and easy to care for. She gets very excited when it’s walk time. Her zoomies are so adorable. Giving her meds was easy - just mixed in with food or peanut butter and she eats it right up. The house is lovely! Cooking in that kitchen is amazing and the WiFi was perfect for my WFH. The neighborhood is quiet with easy access to Rock Creek Park. Communication with Tomi was great. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. I had the opportunity to meet both of Tomi’s grown sons who live close by and both were helpful.
Zoe was communicating well before the sit especially being in contact months beforehand. And during the sit she was available and checking in regularly, although only spoke to me (Alex) directly, which was outside of the chat I created for the 3 of us. Chopin was a sweet cat, being very loving, affectionate, and playful. We played laser tag with him, and he loved brushing and attention! He was a very early riser around 5am at times which was challenging to adjust to in all honesty and wished we were aware of, as our sleep is very crucial to us. The backyard is beautiful and well maintained, backing onto a creek and easily accessing a wonderful trail with big trees! The deck is huge and gets lots of sun exposure which was fantastic with wonderful mountain views! It was great caring for many of the plants and keeping them green! We were surprised by some extra responsibilities that were handed over, which were mentioned only when we started (ex. the almost daily cleanup from the cherry tree, as wildlife were loving it) Thank you for the opportunity and wishing you the best!
I enjoyed getting to sit for Stu, Lu, and Olivia. They are all very lovable and Stu and I developed a special bond. Their place is peaceful and having access to the grocery store right out front is a nice perk. I got to explore Fulton Market and had easy access to the train. Alisha was an understanding host and I appreciated her helpfulness.
We had a great time looking after Nala in this lovely townhouse next to the river. Walking distance to stores and trails. Vanessa explained everything to us beforehand so we didn't have any issues. Very happy with our mini-vacation and catsit in Poco :-)
