Dog Sitters in Lower Plenty

Julia and Jessica were great sitters for our home and our puppy! Would highly recommend them to anyone - responsive, responsible, took our dog for lots of walks, and left everything in great shape.

Stella bonded with Andrew and Bernadette instantly, we all went for a walk together before I left for the weekend and it was clear that Stella would be in good hands. Although I was only away for a couple of days they kept in touch and let me know that Stella was happy and relaxed. The house was spotless with all the bedding washed for my return. Thank you both so much for being such perfect sitters!

Ed helped us out with a 1 night sit. Kymba seemed sad that he left!

We love these two!! They took great care of King. He had an emergency and needed to go to the Vet and these two handled it pristinely! Our house was immaculate when we returned, which was an added bonus. 10/10, we have zero complaints :)

Julia did a fantastic job looking after Archie for the two weeks we were away. She took great care making sure he was settled, happy and kept in his usual routine. I had a scheduled grooming session for him while we were away which I was having trouble rescheduling. I was very grateful that she was able to walk him there and bring him home afterwards. Julia also kept all our plants in good health which was great. I highly recommend Julia as a sitter. Overall she was a pleasure to deal with!

Laura and Arne were great sitters, great communication and I felt very at ease leaving my 2 cats in their care.

Carla was a brilliant pet sitter for our dog Ava while we went away. She was in constant communication and left the house spotless on our return. We couldn't recommend Carla more highly!

I would have no hesitation in recommending Maureen and her husband to do a housesit. Buddy was well looked after and walked regularly. The house was spotless on my return. They are a lovely couple and wish them well on their happy travels. Thank you so much.

As our first house and cat sitter Aurore has set a very high standard. Her communication was outstanding from the first contact. She kept in regular communication whilst we were overseas. She sent frequent updates on the cats (including pictures and videos) and let us know as soon as something out of the ordinary happened (like the cats bringing snakes into the house or her getting bogged on our driveway). She handled all these situations with ease and is very self sufficient and resourceful. She connected with our cats very well and much quicker than any stranger ever has. She displayed a very genuine connection and care for our fur babies and our home. Aurore welcomed us home with a tidy house and a beautiful meal which was much appreciated after 2 days of travel. We sincerely hope that Aurore will come back and house sit for us again or just pop in for a visit! We would 100% recommend Aurore to anyone who is looking for someone to care for their pets and home with love and care. Thank you Aurore for being such an amazing house and cat sitter. When I chose Kathryn as my house sitter I couldn’t have made a better choice. We were compatible from the first connection by email. It was as if we had known each other for years. I had no qualms about Kathryn looking after my cat Pepe while I was away. Pepe was obviously very happy too, judging by his reaction to me when I returned. There were a few problems with the internet but Kathryn with the help of a neighbour got them sorted. Kathryn stayed with me for a few days before and after the house sit and we have exchanged emails since. I have a new friend. I would not hesitate to recommend Kathryn to anyone who was considering her as a house sitter.

Rebecca and James were absolutely fantastic. They sent me an update with photos every day (their idea), included Teddy in their activities and took him walking every day. Teddy had a small injury to his foot (that he got a few days before they arrived) so they had to ensure Ted wore a vet ‘bucket’ on his head to stop him licking. By the time I got back his injury had healed. My cat Uzi also was looked after, fed and cuddled lots, and both animals were calm and happy when we returned. The house was immaculate, they had even washed the bedsheets and left us a little gift to say thanks for the stay. I would absolutely recommend Rebecca and James as both pet and house sitters and hope they will sit for me again one day.
