Maddie is such a lovely person! She made me feel fully welcome in her home, going as far as ordering a few things for the house to make my stay even more comfortable. Ziggy & Luna are absolute sweethearts. Luna is such a lover, she warmed up to me quickly whereas Ziggy took a bit more time but then we became best buds. I’d happily sit for Maddie again.
Nancy & David’s live-aboard sail boat is located in a wonderful community that is within easy walking distance of not only Granville Island but is connected to the many beautiful walking paths that surround the entire inlet. I loved getting up each morning and experiencing the freedom that the harbour brought. The community members were friendly and openly welcoming. I was confident in the workings of the boat as Nancy gave me a thorough tour before hand and provided a comprehensive home guide as well. Bean is definitely the boss onboard. She is a well behaved, very independent kitty who is playful and likes midnight visits;-) Once she is comfortable with you she will ask to sleep on the bed with you and engage you in a some of her favourite games. She enjoys being outside on the boat where she seems to know her boundaries, as far as not going on the dock. I would highly recommend this petsit for those interested in experiencing a live aboard boat, in a lovely community, paired with outstanding surroundings and an entertaining kitty. Just wonderful! Beautiful house, adorable Winston, gorgeous area. Joanna is so, so lovely and made everything so easy and it was always very easy to get ahold of her. Winston is too cute for words and was a very good boy. The house and garden are stunning- it was such a treat to get to spend several days here. I would absolutely recommend and hope I am able to return at some point! So grateful to Joanna for EVERYTHING 💕 this sit was truly idyllic. Thanks again!
Wonderful sit. Dublin was fantastic. We enjoyed our time with him wondering around Old Town and the Lakefront. He is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He loves attention and will snuggle next to you, and he was also well braved while we worked during the day. Grace had everything organized for us, their apartment was spacious with plenty of amenities. The location is walking distance to great restaurants, many of which you can take Dublin with you. We would highly recommend this sit and would love to care for Dublin in the future.
Amy was a lovely host and very communicative. Her apartment was clean with all of the required amenities. Asta is a very sweet, easy and loveable pup and a joy to look after. Charlie is adorable and very sweet but could be quite a handful as he is in his peak puppy phase and requires a lot of attention and training :) so I would recommend someone comfortable with puppies at this age.
Nui and Alex are excellent hosts, very wellcoming. Their cat, Minnie, is a sweet very affectionate older cat, with special dietary and medical needs, all very easy to manage thanks to Nui's orientation and video clips.Their home is located in a prime area of Ottawa, close to all amenities and offering many opportunities to explore the city. We had an excellent week caring for their home and Minnie and strongly recommend the opportunity to Houssesit for them. Luigi & Adele
