Finney was incredibly sweet dog. He did get a bit anxious when it started to rain, and then ran up to me on the couch and cuddled and hid into my body. He was able to calm down when I held him. He really loves people and I loved spending time with him. Melissa was wonderfully accommodating and understanding. As I began to transition out, it started to pour, and she was ok with me taking my time and even to come later to grab my things. It was a wonderful sweet sit. Thanks for having me!
As full time vanlifers, generally we are eager to hit the road after a week of house sitting, but this time it was different: staying at the ranch near Worchester was like coming home. Perfect location, great 'vibe' (energy), with a wonderful menagerie - straight out of a Gerald Durrell novel, plus fav dog breed (wire-haired Vizslas) added as a bonus. Pamela and Paul are superb hosts, couldn't have wished for nicer people. This was our 7th house sitting this summer, and was the perfect place to chill out and unwind after a few 'hard ones'. It has been an honour to look after The Farm.
I had a wonderful few days staying at Alison and Ben's house looking after their lovely Labradors. The location is set in beautiful countryside and perfect for some peace and quiet. The dogs are well behaved and used to routine so very easy to look after. There are beautiful walks right from the doorstep but the dogs are just as happy to stay in the grounds and have plenty of room to run around and keep occupied in the walking trails at the bottom of the garden. Each of them have their own personality and will keep any sitter good company during their stay. Alison and Ben were very welocoming and left clear instructions on looking after the dogs and minor plant watering duties. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyabe sit and I would definitely recommend it and will hopefully be back again!
Montana and Dexter were amazing and so easy. The faculties were fabulous and the location was amazing, I loved this sit!!
