Cat Sitters in Lucas, TX

We came home from a 15-day trip to see our boys-our dogs were happy, and content, and our house exceptionally cared for. When we met Becky and Rene', we knew immediately that we could go on our trip and not worry about a thing. They saw that we were anxious to leave our beloved pets, and they reassured us along the way- telling us that all would be well and not to worry. They cared for our sweet but insecure foster dog and our other pup with love and care. We asked for updates, and they sent them in a timely manner, to help us feel at ease but not to overwhelm. They truly had our best interest at heart, because they knew this trip was important to us to see our family. Our house was clean, and tidy- we could hardly tell they had stayed here! They watered our abundance of plants, our garden, big yard and walked our dogs, fed and cared for them in our "particular way". Rene' also fixed a fan in our bathroom! We are so grateful for them and liked them so much-they are trustworthy, and wonderful people. If you have a chance to use them as your pet sitters- do not hesitate, because you will be in very good hands! Rene' and Becky will go above and beyond their pet sitting duty.

Jennifer, Phillipe and Charlotte stayed in our house in London for two weeks in June. We have two dogs that were exceptionally well looked after. The family were such wonderful, warm people who communicated well with us and were so respectful of our home and belongings. When one dog got a tick and the other was ill they took perfect care of them, treating them as lovingly as they would have their own pets, keeping us updated constantly so we didn’t worry. In addition, the house was cleaner than when we left, and they left a tray of cookies for us which was gratefully received after a day of travelling, such a lovely touch!! The dogs were content and calm when we got home, a real sign that they’d been happy, loved and walked regularly whilst we were away. We couldn’t recommend Jennifer and her family highly enough, it was another great zeewoi experience for us!! Karem took great care of my two dogs (one of who is senior) and was a great communicator throughout my long vacation. I would definitely have her again!

Kelley watched our house and 4 cats for two weeks while we were on a trip. She took great care of our cats and we came home to a tidy house. We got regular updates on the cats while we were gone. Would recommend Kelley to anyone looking for a house sitter!

Ursula and Michael were such a delight! They took excellent care of our pets and our home...they sent pics and had great communication the whole time. We would whole heartily recommend them to anyone needing a house sitter, and we'd welcome them back in our home again in a heart beat!

Charlie arrived with his wife Laura the day before to greet us and Sydney our dog. He was kind enough to give us a ride to the airport for our trip to Texas and also stayed to pick us up when we returned. The house was neat and clean when we returned and they even replaced the bananas which probably had gone bad while we were away. They had some lessons in dog training and worked with Sydney to get her to walk better on a leash. While we were gone Sydney vommitted a little and Charlie cleaned it up, notified us and kept us informed of how she was doing. She was back to her normal happy healthy energetic loving self afterwards and we believe it was just a fluke which sometimes happens. All in all Charlie and his wife are wonderful and we can’t say enough good things about them. We’d love to have him or him and his wife back again anytime.

This particular sit was cancelled, due to my change in travel plans. However, Michael and his wife were wonderful sitters previously and I definitely recommend them.

Jonathan was such a great house sitter, and I would have him back any time! He was attentive to my cat and dog and took care of all of their needs. He was also reliable and communicative, getting right back to me with an hour or so. He stayed at my apartment for more than a week during the holidays, and during that time I felt secure that my sweeties were in good hands! I definitely recommend him as a sitter to any potential host!

Miguel and Nadia were truly wonderful! We had an evening's overlap with them and they seem like delightful people who are truly interested in the animals they are caring for. They were very sweet and communicative, and went above and beyond in catering to the needs of Shadow, our nineteen-year-old, senior kitty. They periodically sent us updates with pictures, so we were able to fully enjoy our vacation, knowing our kitty was in great hands. When we returned home, he was very happy and settled (rather than the usual complaining and demanding where we'd been that we're used to!) which tells us he felt right at home with them caring for him. We feel like Shadow has some new caring family members and we would have Miguel and Nadia back anytime. As an extra bonus, the house felt even cleaner than when we'd left. and there was a very sweet note from them that was just a lovely thing to return to. 🌟⭐️ ⭐️🌟🌟All stars for our new cat-sitting All Stars!⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟⭐️ ⭐️

Marinet was AWESOME!! She was so sweet and caring to my 2 dogs that they grew an attachment to her that I never saw before. I highly recommend!!

This was a tough review to write, but needed. I have had over dozen sits so far on this website so I have become accustomed to (and expect) responsive and communicative sitters. First, Richard and Sharon arrived 2 hours after their stated time (which was even later than what we had originally agreed upon weeks prior). As a consequence, my son was unable to show them the eye care for his cat and so I had to do it. This caused me to be an hour late for my shift. Second, they didn’t read the manual ahead of time. I spent a lot of time making it (and revising it over the last couple of years) and I emailed it way ahead of time with accompanying photos. It was annoying to have to show them where everything was in the house as this could have been avoided had they actually opened their emails from me prior to the sit. Third, they don’t know how to use a mobile phone very well and did not download the recommended app necessary to find the cats if they went hiding (TILE). No other sitter has had this issue- it’s super easy. Fourth, I did not get any updates from them without specifically prompting them and no photos of the pets, at all, for the entire week they were staying. Finally, they went to the beach and got sand on the tables and didn’t clean them- so my son unwittingly placed his laptop computer on the coffee table and scratched up the bottom. All in all, they are very nice, but I am pretty disappointed about this sit.

Kathy and Jim came with their dog, Lucy. I thought my dog, Lupe, would be a little standoffish, but no, they hit it off immediately. A dog as an assistant dogsitter - who knew?! Makes sense though, doesn't it? This sit was wonderful in every way. My AC went out the 2nd day - they took it in stride while I arranged for it to be fixed. Jim and Kathy are extremely personable; fellow retirees, we found we had a lot in common. One drawback - Lupe misses Lucy! And Kathy! And Jim! (They are all very energetic.)
