The only reason I’m not giving a 5-Star review was because Brenda did not make the sit and as such, Karma was at home alone all day. If Brenda can make it, it’s 5 stars all the way. The place was spotless when I came home.
Pares was wonderful. She was very flexible and accessible in setting up the sit. She is very knowledgeable and experienced working with all kinds of dogs. She took great care of our dog (who is not the easiest to manage) and was a wonderful house guest. Would highly recommend and would personally love to have Pares do another sit for us in the future.
Karen was an amazing house sitter. Extremely communicative and flexible before the sit (we had to change the dates by a day). Then during the sit, we received plenty of pictures of the pets and "all is well" messages. Finally, we came back to a spotless house. Would highly recommend Karen!
Absolutely loved this sit. Dot will take some time to get used to you. She's very well-behaved. Tim was very friendly and welcoming, excellent communication. The apartment is in a very central location in Dubai and easily accessible by public transport. I'd definitely recommend this sit.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Jax and Tanner. Jax loves attention and walks. We took him on a number of trails, and he would stay right by our side rarely pulling on the leash. He is definitely protective of his people and would bark at any strange person on the property which was actually quite nice. Tanner loved his scratches and early morning bathing in the sun. We stayed in the attached apartment on the bottom of the house. A small spiral staircase led to the main floor where we had access to the kitchen, dining, and living room areas. The morning sunsets were spectacular often sitting above the marine layer. If you take the time to hike the steep hill on their property, the sunsets are just as amazing. Very comfortable bed and everything we needed was available. The home is up on a hill overlooking Santa Barbara so you do have a 20 minute drive or so to get to town. Krista and Uwe were so gracious, easy to communicate with, and without a doubt we would be friends if we lived in Santa Barbara. They have model pets, and we would do this sit again in a heartbeat.
Mimi is warm and welcoming and she has the sweetest cat, Pymont. He is so friendly and he is great company. You WILL fall in love with him. She left clear instructions for the housesit and a great communicator. Her home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It is well-located in the lively Latin Quarter and close to the metro and buses. There is lots of great food and things to do in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this housesit!
We loved sitting Rafa! As an outdoor cat, he's very low maintenance but is also super affectionate! He seems to warm quickly to strangers and is very good at communicating when he is ready to eat, go outside, etc. We've been back for two days now and already miss him! Charlotte is also such a kind and welcoming host. Communication prior to and during the sit was excellent. She was so flexible with our travel and remote work schedules which made the travels and sit all the easier. We would love to sit for her again.
A lovely sit looking after Ted and Mabel, they are such characters and very obedient if they go out, you just shake the nuts box and hey presto they are back like Usain Bolt and his sister! They were both affectionate and didn’t take long to warm to you, and playtime was fun. Ted followed me round like a dog and kept nudging me on the bed for strokes, Mabel was happy to sit on your knee and be stroked too. The house was lovely, clean and warm, and a brilliant location with plenty of walks on the doorstep. The bed being super comfy. The alarm clock wasn’t needed as Ted and Mabel were happy to wake you up for their breakfast. ( I don’t know where they get their energy from) . The neighbours were friendly and on hand if you needed anything, or any clarification on how anything worked. Communications with Louise were brilliant before and during the stay. So all in all a fabulous sit and I am hoping to return in the summer. Thank you
It was a joy to meet Vanna and Pippa and be there playmate for a month over the holidays in Halfway, Cork. Kat's house is very comfortable, modern and warm - with a viaduct in the backyard and easy access to the wonders of West Cork. Vanna is an excitable gal who loves going for walks and is in pure bliss at the beach, we spent lots of time together exploring Kinsale and surrounding hikes. Pippa is a magic cat who I so adored from the moment we met, sleeping on my lap every night and being very curious and cute. Very thankful to Kat for making the housesit very accommodating and the generous loan of her car. Will miss Pippa and Vanna and send them love!
