Fantastic sit! We had an amazing time looking after Pauline and Prash’s furry gang - Daisy, Ella, Jigsaw, Misty and Smudge. All have fantastic personalities, who kept us entertained…. oh, and not forgetting the fish. Their home was very comfortable and in a great location. 5 mins to the beach with many walks from the doorstep. Pauline and Prash are lovely people with a lovely family who we enjoyed getting to know very much before they left. Easy communication. We arrived the day before the sit and Pauline and Prash cooked us an authentic Indian curry which was delicious and Pauline’s fresh fruit pavlova was amazing. We hope to see them again soon. A five star sit. Highly recommended. Thank you for this experience and entrusting your beautiful home and fur babies to us.
I really enjoyed my stay in Melanie's cottage with her sweet dog Cassidy. The space is light filled and cozy with a gas fireplace for the cool autumn evenings, a functional kitchen and a private garden, abundant with mature vegetation. Cassidy's needs are not complicated and I found her to be a good companion. From the San Francisco airport it is $25 by bus to San Rafael and Melanie was kind enough to pick me up at the bus station. She even stocked the fridge with some of the essentials for me like milk, yogurt and apples. From the house to the grocery store and back with provisions. was an easy walk, and I found walking in the neighborhood safe and pleasant too with lovely gardens and coffee shops to enjoy. Thanks you Melanie for trusting me with your home and your furry family.
Alex and Viole are amazing people and hosts. They are super welcoming, warm and easy going. They made sure that we have a nice stay and always answered super fast on messages. We felt like friends and not at all like we just met 10min ago. We even got to spend some time together at a bbq, which was really great. The cats Pipo and Popi are pretty easy going too. Pipo sometimes wants attention (so basically looking at him, but not petting him) and Popi likes to open drawers and doors. All in all a very chill stay. Thank you so much for everything and especially for your trust!
Christina, Ted and Juliet are lovely, such an adorable family. I could arrive one day earlier to meet them while they showed me around and we had dinner together. They are super welcoming. If you have questions during your stay you will get the answer really fast per whatsapp. Their neighbours are helpful too. Soup and Pesto are 2 cute cats who are easy going. Loving to play. Vincent and Jas are 2 guinea pigs who are low maintenance. You just have to sweep the poop and feed them/ change the water daily. The metro station is just 3 minutes walk away. It will bring you to central park in 30 minutes. I definitely recommend this stay!
My stay at West End Farm was really enjoyable. The house and gardens are stunning and the location is beautiful and perfect for exploring many great walks and landscapes. Inca is such a sweetheart and great company. She responds well to treats and is a pleasure to walk. She is good with other dogs and people. Ping, the goat, and the sheep are fun to feed and very friendly. The chickens are also easy to look after and it was lovely to have a fresh egg a day. Twiglet is calm and friendly too and enjoyed sitting on my lap sometimes in the evenings :) Jo was good at communicating the instructions for looking after the animals and house and everything went smoothly. She was super helpful with local information and generous with allowing us to borrow equipment etc, moreover, we had a delicious home made quiche and bottle of wine to welcome us on arrival! I highly recommend this sit and hope to come back soon.
We had 3 great days in Bristol looking after Amanda’s gorgeous cats! Ottie and Reggie have great personalities and love attention. It was a joy to look after them! Amanda was a great host and made our stay very pleasant. Her home is in a good location to visit the city. Overall a very comfortable stay!
