We had the best time in Leiden with Bear and Jack. Bear is an absolute cutie, we immediately fell in love with her. She has an amazing personality and was very affectionate and well behaved. It was a real pleasure to take care of her. We really enjoyed sleeping with her and cuddling every morning. She stays super calm during the night, so we slept very good. We really enjoyed walking her in the lovely park around the corner. Jack is also adorable, he has a really unique personality. It was really fun to see how he has a few different homes in the street and how he is loved by a lot of people. We really enjoyed his company and the times he snuggled up on the couch with us and Bear. Morna was very welcoming and the communication went well. Her house is really nice and located in a great neighbourhood. We really hope we will be able to come back as saying goodbye to Bear and Jack was very hard. We hope we will have the chance to see them again soon!
Ralphie and Rocky were absolutely the best, and couldn't ask for a cozier, more lovely place to stay!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come visit this gorgeous area
Kristi was an amazing host. She went to extra lengths to make sure our housesit would be comfortable and fun, even getting her home professionally cleaned beforehand and leaving us with some Christmas goodies! We love and miss their animals, and still talk about them frequently, almost a month later! I appreciate too that she and her family were willing to roll with the ups and downs of a 2+ week stay: when the weather turned freezing they were already prepared with a de-icer for the horses, and when the hay ran out they arranged for more to be delivered. I didn't feel like I had to walk on eggshells around the house, but could make myself at home and enjoy the stay. It was a joyful holiday for my family, and all the family have unanimously asked if we can housesit for them again!
