Kim and Pat were utterly phenomenal! While I was out of the country they sent daily pictures and updates which was so nice. We had no worries that the cat and dog were very happy with their stay-cation with Kim and Pat. They were extra kind and made sure the dog was well exercised and had plenty of chew toys to destroy! Honestly, I’m quite sure our dog misses them terribly.
The cat had no complaints whatsoever, and that is high praise coming from her.
House was super clean when I returned and even the sheets were washed and bed made, which was extra wonderful as I was expecting company days after my return.

Great communication from Kim and Pat regarding arrival and departure time as well as animal and house care. Very organized and conscientious.

I could not have imagined a better experience with zeewoi. I would invite them into my home any time.

What a lovely home, very nice hosts and cute pets !

This old cottage, marvellously restored is more than confortable with a huge kitchen, different rooms where you may read, relax or watch tv. The garden -totally fenced- is ideal to play with the dog or to take a drink outside (we njoyed a few days of sunshine at Easter)

Whittlesford is a small village, with a lovely church and 2 pubs next door (1 often closed), a post office / grocery shop 100 meters away with all the basics.

Penelope and Eric are very generous hosts : they picked us up at the airport, welcomed us with a tasty dinner and fine wines. They even gave us a voucher valid in several restaurants around.
During the evening we spent together before their departure the following afternoon, we shared nice conversations about opera, literature and painting. They made good suggestions that we followed. Cambridge town is a must, but many other cities in Cambridgeshire worth a visit if you’re fond of architecture, history or gardens.

Penelope was very kind to trust us and let us her car. It made things much easier to discover the region than waiting for the local bus (close to the house) or trains (the station is 1,1 mile away).

The pets are friendly and easy : Pudding, the mature black cat, is a real cuddler, who instantly climbs on your knees and purrs loudly. When you read or watch TV, she will come on your lap to keep you company.

Bobby, a young and curly cavapoo, is a dream : very well trained, she never pulls, never begs when you have lunch, begins to eat herself only when she is invited to, does not dare jump on sofas, goes to her crate at night without protesting !
Both pets are not allowed on the first floor and Bobby respects that rule. Pudding usually remains on the stairs…

Communication was easy via Whatsapp. Although the welcome guide had not been filled before our arrival, we found several pages of notes with all the important infos we needed. If necessary, neighbours are helpful.

Many walks can be done in the countryside. Bobby shows you the lanes she likes to wander around the church. She is a tiny dog but a quite tonic one ! Walking or running daily with Penelope, she never seems tired. Bobby may stay alone a few hours, but will be happy to follow you everywhere if you want to take her in the car : she stays very calm and silent in the boot .

Thankyou Paul and cat for a wonderful and fascinating 10 days with your spectacular bengals, all 11 legs of them. An absolute privilege watching them munching on chicks and stretching out on their furry rug in front of the fire and watching them playing wild tig with pheasants in the stormy wind.
And Thankyou for your kindness, communication and generosity

I recently had the pleasure of housesitting for Fiona and Tony at their stunning country house, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, Fiona and Tony made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and friendly demeanor.

The house itself is absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and plenty of space to relax and unwind. I especially loved spending time with their three hilarious dogs, Flick, Roxy and Beau, Who kept me busy and entertained throughout my stay.

Overall, I cannot recommend Fiona and Tony highly enough as hosts. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome, and I would jump at the chance to stay with them again in the future. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of the countryside, look no further than Fiona and Tony's wonderful home.

Kate was a great host. Her home is peaceful and zen. Bruce and Nala were a breeze and so loving. It was hard to leave the cuties! They were sitting side by side as I was heading out, it was so cute, I about cried lol. Nala loves walking, playing, ear rubs and napping. Bruce is curious, love naps, love and affection. I think it’s so cute that when you give Nala a treat, Bruce lines up to get one as well.

I’m traveling with my Yorkie, I gradually introduced them to each other and they got along well. Bruce was so intrigued by my Yorkie. I only stayed for a night, but I it was an amazing sit.

Side note: The Starbucks up the street, forgot my drink and I got a Venti Carmel Ribbon Crunch for free. Best sit ever 🤣💕

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Rotterdam. What a view, what a nice comfortable apartment and what a lovely cat duo Ginger and Pako.
We did not meet Nathalia and had a quick handover with Jose who had to dash as he was faced with some travel challenges. Luckily, we could accommodate him for an earlier than planned arrival.
There is nothing complicated about their apartment with wonderful views over Rotterdam from the 28th floor. It is in the center of the city and within walking distance of most of its special attractions. Shopping, eating and other social activities are right on your doorstep. Public transport is conveniently located across the road.
Ginger and Pako are a treat, and everything as described by previous sitters. Yes, Pako is shy, and Ginger is as curious as a Cat can be and then some more. They are beautiful cats, and it is not difficult to love them and have the need to take lots of photos. We had a great time with these two lovely cats and their antics!
A very desirable “sit” and we thank Nathalia and Jose for having us!
