Since we really don't know where to begin, let's just say that Dani and Freddi deserve more than "just" 5 stars! If we could have these two look after our house and pets every time we are planning on travelling - we would! This was our first zeewoi experience, leaving home and pets behind for a total of 4 months. Doing so wasn't easy on us and we were concerned; leaving everything "to strangers" for so long is a very brave thing to do. But as soon as we started messaging Dani and Freddi and then having video conversations with them, we knew everything would go smoothly! Dani's and Freddi's open and honest way of communicating was recognized and valued from day 1! And we must say, things went even better than expected! This remarkable couple has taken care of our family and home as if it were their own, and they have successfully adapted to rural African life! Our 6 dogs and 5 cats didn't seem to miss us, Dani and Freddi made sure they got so much entertainment, love and exercise! Instead we could feel how sad our pet family was, when they had to leave. - Special remark, 2 of our babies are terrified of thunderstorms and Dani and Freddi would sit with them through the night, holding them tight! This truly meant a lot to us!!) - When we returned home, our tiny houses and property had been immaculately maintained (everything was in place, clean, looked after and maintained). Dani and Freddi even efficiently and with a huge smile assisted us with certain personal responsibilities that came up while we were traveling, such as delivering documents to a courier or helping out in the local community. Nothing was too big to ask! These two are really specialists at taking care of our property (which comes with special tasks), and I can honestly say that I was shocked to see that even after 4 months, all of our plants were still alive (they would have surely perished on me, so props to Dani!!). The fact that these two kept us informed the entire time and let us see how pleased everyone back home was in every picture and video is the sole reason we were able to enjoy traveling again so much! Dani also demonstrated some genuine photographic talent, and we really loved the stunning pictures of our dogs and cats!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you've done for us, D&F! We hope you know you're always welcome back in Cwebeni and we can't tell you how grateful we are that this is how our first zeewoi experience went!! We can HIGHLY recommend Dani and Freddi to any house and pet-owner! You two rock! :-)

Maritta was great at keeping me informed and I was happy leaving Silkie and my home in her care. I worry that she is preferring my sitters to me. It was great to spend some time with Maritta on my return and have a delicious meal prepared. Such a kind, thoughtful person.

Ute

Ute was a wonderful house sitter for two weeks in August. She had a long list of tasks! Looking after our loved Burmese cat Axel, watching over our three chickens (no small task in the height of summer: feeding, watering and letting them roam) and watering our garden, veggie patch and house plants. She was over with her daughter and I couldn't have felt more comfortable that they were caring for the house and the animals in our absence. On our return, the house was spotless and they had left us some lovely gifts in the fridge. She really is a 6 star house sitter. Thank you Ute. Jessica

Matthias and Anna were amazing houseguests! They took such great care of our dog and house. When we got back, our house was spotless. Additionally, our neighbors who had gotten to know them raved about what wonderful people they were. We would have them back in a second.

Janina was a perfect sitter and house guest! Janina was easy to work with- We picked her up the night before we left town and she drove us to the airport the next day as well as had our car waiting for us at the airport with a full tan of gas when we returned home. Very flexible and accommodating with our schedule & needs. She took great care of our fur-babies, giving them plenty of attention and sending us updates throughout the stay. Our home was left very clean and all pets were happy and healthy. Janina is welcome back anytime!

Tiffany was really great. She was responsive, I could always reach her and she constantly reassured me that my cats were doing well. I came back to a very tidy house and the kitties looked well taken care of.

We have had housesitters before, but this time it was a bit unique. Our two kids were at home part of the week since the sit was just at the beginning of the new semester at our University. We were glad that Jelena and her schoolfriend Moni, who accompanied her to our place, didn’t mind about sharing the house with our kids. It turned out to be a fun and good week for everyone (I was told :), our kids enjoyed spending time with Jelena and Moni and our dog loved the company. Jelena and Moni were super friendly, very kind with our dog Prince (he loved them from the moment they entered our house) and nice to have around and take care of the house and garden. We can warmly recommend both Jelena and Moni to everyone who needs a trustworthy and kind house- and dog sitter! A 10 of 10 rating according to our kids :)

Sarah has done a brilliant job. She is a very emphatic young woman and we and our cats will miss her. The house was clean and tidy when we got home and the cats were relaxed and happy. Sarah always kept us up to date with photos and comments, so that we were completely relaxed and reassured on holiday. Anytime again with pleasure.

It was such a beautiful experience to have Jill and Martin cat and chickensit for us! From our first video call to being here - everything went smooth, efficient and they absolutely spoiled all my kitties. Anja was absolutely fantastic! From our very first conversation, it was clear she was a perfect fit for my crew. Anja is incredibly friendly, compassionate, and has a positive attitude that truly stands out. Despite a small hiccup at the start of her stay (through no fault of her own), Anja remained upbeat and focused on getting to my crew. They warmed up to her quickly, and I felt completely confident leaving her with my three dogs and foster cat. She kept us updated with wonderful photos and updates throughout the weekend. Amanda is really kind & her home is comfortable & stylish - I absolutely love the garden which has a wonderful Mediterranean feel to it. The house is in are quiet residential part of Burgess Hill (walking distance to both Wivelsfield train station & Burgess Hill station - quick & easy to get to Brighton). Of course, looking after 
Chas & Dave was the best part of my stay. They are such adorable, affectionate cats each with their own unique personality. The fish are cool too.

Alesia and Matt are absolutely amazing hosts and this was the best house sitting experience for us so far! 
Alesia and Matt gave us detailed instructions and recommendations before our arrival, picked us up from the ferry and even cooked us a delicious dinner ! It was truly a warm welcome. They made us feel really good in theIr house and even let us borrow their car which made it significantly easier to explore the island. They are also really knowledgeable about the islands and will give you great advice about the restaurants, places to see etc. 
The cat Milo is very sweet and very easy to care for. He will let you pet him if he likes you and will bring you fake mice as a sign of appreciation. The fish are extremely easy as well. 
Alesia and Matt’s house is a real piece of paradise and looks even better in real life than on the pictures! It has an open terrace and amazing views all over the bay and a fully stocked kitchen. We loved spending our time there looking at the water and neighboring islands. 
Overall it was such great house-sitting experience which we will remember for the rest of our lives and we thank Matt and Alesia for that.
