A positively wonderful experience! Marc and Teresa are gracious, engaging, and friendly people. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Their home is in a quiet, safe neighborhood and is very clean and comfy. And Jessie and Mika...they are such sweet adorable girls! They are very well behaved, gentle, quiet, lovable goldens who just want to be with you. Jessie in particular loves her belly rubs and head scratches. Mika likes them too, but she was more likely to snooze on her bed whereas Jessie wanted to be sure we had plenty of opportunities to pet her - hahaha. We enjoyed taking them on their walks around the neighborhood and down to a nearby park; they walk very well on leash. If you have the opportunity to care for these girls, don’t pass it up! We miss them already.
Bourbon was great- she is very energetic but she is also very well trained. It was lots of fun looking after her and we had all the instructions we needed to give her great care. The home is in a great area and it’s a really nice place. Kevin and Adam were awesome and gave us lots of good recommendations of restaurants and things to do around the area. Would definitely recommend looking after Bourbon- we’re excited to head back later this year!
Amanda and Munch were fantastic. The communication and instructions were excellent. Munch is an awesome cat…tons of energy and loves to play. Naps a lot to so easy to do other things or work. A little shy for the first 2 days and then we became fast friends. Sad to leave!! Great little town, friendly neighbors and Amanda is super easy going, so a real pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend this sit!
This housesit provided a unique opportunity to experience Jerusalem at a slow pace. Karen and Paul were very kind, showed us around the city and stayed in contact during the sit. The house is conveniently close to the tram stop, which makes it very easy to go into town. The area is quiet, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle and the heat in Jerusalem. There are a lot of pets to welcome you back from a day’s worth exploring, but they are all really easy to care for. Next to the 3 dogs and 3 cats, we also took care of 4 kittens. It was a joy to see them grow and starting to play with each other and with us. Thanks Paul & Karen
A really great petsit! Rod and Debra were very welcoming and lovely. Their apartment is part of a beautiful and safe gated complex which has a gym and a big swimming pool that Rod kindly booked for us every day. Our time was mostly spent on caring for their beautiful pets and walking around the local area of Santa Ana, which has some nice cafés and a great Sunday market. Minty is truly extraordinary. Such a giant cat, yet so gentle and so beautiful. He loved to be brushed and stroked and we loved brushing and stroking him. Jaffa is really sweet and rarely left our sides, day and night. When Minty also decided to share our bed, it got a bit cosy, but they let us sleep and never once made a peep. We will miss them and will enjoy the memories of a beautiful and relaxing stay. Thank you Rod and Debra!
Fry and Colbert are so soft and sweet! And they have a really nice place in a great part of town. Lisa is a fabulous human and a very loving cat-mom. I hope to sit again sometime :)
