Cecily and Neil are an excellent sitter team and we are happy to give them our highest recommendation. They cared for our home and two senior pugs and the entire experience was a pleasure. Our boys have many special needs, so it was very comforting to see Neil and Cecily listening closely to our instructions before we left home. Communication was excellent while we were away, with text updates and photos. When we returned home, the house was clean and tidy and our boys were happy and well-cared for. This is a really nice couple who are very capable house and pet sitters. Consider yourself lucky if you can connect with them for a sit.
Heather and John are sweet people and made sure I felt welcomed. Despite traveling internationally Heather responded to inquiries promptly with regards to time zone. All the supplies were available in ample amount and she made sure to walk through the house and point out where things are located before she left. Coco and Snowy were great! Coco is adorable and will follow you around the house. But be careful, she’ll join you on the bed in the middle of the night if you give her space. Snowy is a little character. He loves to perch on your shoulder and watch you work. He’s very affectionate and will groom you. A distinguished little gentleman.
Back in March of this year, we were honoured to be invited by Ruth to consider caring for their home and Indi whilst they were away. We had the pleasure of visiting Mulberry House at that time, for a very comprehensive guided tour and importantly, we met Indi, a most beautifully behaved and gentle black Labrador. Straight away, Ruth made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. We were fortunate during that introductory visit, to also meet lovely Sue, who supports Ruth with the upkeep of her large home. The location is idyllic, as the house is tucked away at the end of a lane, the extensive grounds being surrounded by countryside. We fell in love with Indi who loves playing “chase the ball 🥎” and keeps going tirelessly. Yet amazingly, whenever we came in to rest and read, she’d happily flop into her bed, quite contentedly, until we called her for another walk or chase of her beloved ball. She greeted us excitedly each morning, mouth full of her “pillow” as a present, tail wagging enthusiastically. It made getting up early to feed her a total joy. We are delighted to have been invited back for just a short sit at the end of this month…..back to a sumptuously comfortable home, glorious gardens and one of the sweetest natured black Labradors one could ever meet. Thank you Ruth and Justin for the privilege and joy of caring for your home and the pleasure of making a friend of adorable Indi.
We loved our stay in Torquay! Rachael was brilliant to keep in touch with, easy and very friendly. The house was light, bright and comfortable and had everything you need for a great stay. Lots of lovely coastal walks, woodlands and beaches for exploring too. Chester was a little cutie and super chatty! Really friendly and easy to care for. He loved snoozing in the sun, being brushed and stroked and liked to come and sit with us in the garden. A really great sit! We would definitely recommend it. Thanks Rachael. x
