I could not have asked for a better hostess than I had in Sunny! This was a remarkable house sit! Sunny was very thorough with directions and left nothing to chance which as an organizer myself, I really appreciated. I was able to spend several days with her before hand so that I could get familiar with the city, her home, her car and most importantly Georgie the cat. Sunny went over and above in helping me source out the things I wanted to do while in Sacramento. Georgie and I became best buds while I was there, he was a dream to look after. He sat outside with me in Sunny's beautiful back yard while I worked, followed me around waiting to eat together and was seriously the best cat ever. I came away with an amazing adventure, and some wonderful friends and Sunny is included in that. I would housesit for Sunny any time and for anyone looking for a a 5* house-sit I recommend Sunny. Sunny's welcome book was thorough, her Sacramento and home/cat care package that she made for me and any other house-sitters at her home was extensive and well thought out. She left no stone unturned which I so appreciated. Sunny's home is lovely, is well equipped and is central to everything that you might need to get to. If you plan on touring around the city or outlying areas I would recommend a vehicle. It is a really easy city to get around as well as venturing to Tahoe and Napa. I did my homework before going to Sacramento and had a list of things that I wanted to see and do. The people of Sacramento were extremely friendly and the options for things to do was vast. A great experience housesitting for Chocolate and Peanut. My hosts were wonderful and I had a great place to stay for a few days and spend time with two great pups.. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time looking after Polly and Max for Ian and Lois! Ian and Lois invited us to come the night before the sit began. They introduced us to their sleek and gorgeous cats, Polly and Max and showed us all around their lovely property so that we knew exactly what was required and how everything worked. Ian and Lois were so generous and helpful and we had great communication throughout the sit. Polly and Max took a day to get to know us and then they were very smoochy and friendly. They are independent cats but also enjoy pats and attention- they also love food so cupboard love is easy to achieve! We would love to care for them again another time.
We had the best time taking care of little Bear! It's not often we get the pleasure of taking care of a puppy, and his sweet and fun loving nature made this sit even more enjoyable. He was easy to take care of, and very affectionate. Elaine was a superb host, making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. She was always reachable and friendly - she even left us an Easter egg each to enjoy! An extra treat on top of this delightful sit. The house was comfy, clean and had everything we needed to stay there comfortably and take care of Bear adequately. Thank you for having us Elaine, we hope we will get the chance to come back soon!! 🐕❤️
