Alexandra took excellent care of my 3 cats while I was away for a week. She communicated well before and during the stay, sending me updates and photos so I could see the cats were doing well. My shyest cat, Frankie, warmed up to her almost immediately, which is very unusual. She left the house in good condition and I had little to do when I returned home. The cats were calm, well fed, and only had good things to say about Alexandra!

Sam & Aleks sat my two boys for four nights while I was away for work. The communication in the weeks leading up to them arriving was perfect. In fact, the first Zoom we had, I ended by saying I think Sam and I would be friends if we lived closer. She was engaging, friendly and asked a lot of very good questions about the dogs, their routine and our home. I got a good sense that she was going to be a very good sitter. They did not disappoint. I received daily text messages with images and videos of them enjoying outdoors. The boys were in their comfort zone and I knew they were being well-taken care of. Sam was on-point with all the right things, left my house clean and was great about communicating regularly. I highly recommend these two for any sit. I hope to meet them someday to say thank you in person.

Dave and Lorena were great with Paninu! It was quite clear when we returned home, seeing how close he remained cuddled with them. They're also fantastic people, thoughtful, and we very much appreciated them preparing food for us in case we returned home hungry. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Tori was an amazing sitter for our dog and our home. They were super communicative before and during the sit. Even when we had a last minute change to our plans, they rolled with the change and were very flexible as we worked out a new plan. Throughout the sit, Tori sent photo & text updates on our beloved dog which we looked forward to everyday and we got the sense they really bonded, which made us feel so much better about being gone! Tori also has a lot of dog experience, which was clear in the kinds of updates that they sent us. Tori also left the house in just as clean shape as they arrived and were clearly very respectful of our space and our shared building. 100% recommend!

Kim was a wonderful and very competent house sitter. We communicated easily and clearly from the beginning. She was easy going and took to the chores quickly, which is saying a LOT since we asked a lot of her with 20 sheep, 20 chickens, ducks, bunnies, a dog a a cat! She took our dog for long hikes and made sure to find backup care when she had to leave for a day so that the animals wouldn't be alone for too long. Upon our return, it was clear that all the animals were well cared for and she even weeded my garden!! The house was very tidy and clean. We really enjoyed having Kim stay in our home. She instantly felt like an old friend and she had a great sense of humor, too.

Laurie was amazing! She and Luna bonded immediately and had a wonderful time while we were out of town. Luna was in fantastic hands. On top of taking great care of our pup, Laurie was a great house sitter. She treated our home as her own and left everything spotless. Amazing!!!

Joseph took care of our cat and house-sat for us for 2 weeks. In advance of our trip, we were able to do both a virtual and in-person meet and greet to ensure everyone felt comfortable and do a walk through of the house, which we really appreciated.While we were away, Joseph responded quickly to texts/any questions we sent and provided photo and text updates every 1-2 days. Upon our return, our cat seemed happy. Unfortunately, the day of our return, Joseph accidentally locked himself out of our house. He communicated with us and we were able to provide him access to a backup key. However, when we returned home about an hour and a quarter later, we were surprised to find that he was still there (he was supposed to have left much earlier in the day before we arrived home, and we knew he was running a little behind because of the lockout, but he didn’t tell us he would still be there when we walked in). He texted us that the house was clean and ready for us, but unfortunately the house was not clean and the cat litter boxes were quite smelly and appeared not to have been changed or scooped in many days. While we realize that getting locked out of the house created some delays in getting packed and tidying the house, we were upset to find the kitty litter in that state and for the clear disorganization, at least in the final day. We provided this feedback directly to Joseph and hope that this was a one-time experience. However, we would urge clear communication around any expectations for cleaning, communication, and care.

Kelsey was an incredible house sitter! She sent updates on the pets every few days, kept the house clean, and restocked everything that she used here. Highly recommend!

Diane & Al

Diane and Al have graced my home with their thoughtfulness and care! It was lovely that we got to meet before I left for a couple of weeks because these are two very special folks. I think Emma is missing them... The garden was watered and abundant when I returned, and there was a little stone path made to the entrance that was just cobbled (excuse the pun!) together before I left, that is now a artfully laid stone path. Al even noticed a funky spot on my kitchen windowsill and made a quick fix before the rain came! The house was clean, linens cleaned and bed made. I truly couldn't have asked for more!! I think they loved the area so it is quite likely they will want to come back and I would very much welcome them again!

It was a pleasure to have Margo & Sam look after Duck and Goose! They were easy to communicate with and they left the house beautifully clean. We loved getting daily photos of Duck and hearing about her new frisbee skills. We would happily welcome them back!

Lovely housesit in the beautiful Vancouver WE area. Super well located and beautiful home, convenient to downtown Vancouver or Portland and all of the other things to see in the area. Sofi and Sable take a  but to warm up but both very sweet cats who eventually want your time and attention (Sable faster than Sofi.) Nanis and Philip were very responsive and I had all the info I needed in advance.

I had the pleasure of pet sitting Jessie and Mika and I had no idea they’d steal a piece of my heart the way they did. This sit was amazing from the very start! Marc and Teresa were beyond gracious hosts, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. They cooked me a delicious dinner upon arrival and even let me use their car to drive the girls around town. Their home was beautiful and super cozy, in a super safe area! 

The dogs are the absolute best! They were the sweetest and most well behaved dogs I’ve sat for. Mika is an older soul and Jessie loves to be as close to you as possible. Both girls loved their walks throughout the day and enjoyed car rides around town. They were both super easy to care for. Jessie needs medicine twice a day but she takes it so well, and Mika needs a bit more time to find the right spot to go to the bathroom, but it was never an issue. 

If you have the opportunity to sit for these girls, take it!! I think I enjoyed my sit here more than the girls did. They make the best companions and I’ll miss Jessie nudging me to wake up. I was so sad to leave them! I truly hope to be back again soon! Thanks Marc and Teresa! You guys are awesome! ❤️
