Sybil was a delight to look after, she loves long walks in the countryside, swims, and chasing her ball. She is a very affectionate and gentle dog and will have pats and tummy rubs anytime! Best at walking off leash with good recall and never goes far from your side. We enjoyed getting to meet Annie and Gareth before they left, Annie took us out to see the local walks, and they were very warm and welcoming. Their house is very comfortable, one of the best beds we’ve had on a housit, in a lovely peaceful countryside area. Highly recommend and we would love to sit for them again if the opportunity arose.
We had a fantastic time staying with Amy and Champagne! Sarah and Peter's home is lovely, clean, and spacious and we felt very welcome. It was a nice neighborhood to walk around in, there are many lakes and we enjoyed their back porch in the evening. Amy is the queen bee of the house, and Champagne is her playful little sister. They were both such joys to be around! Champagne is a purr factory and we even got some lap cuddles. They both liked to be around us and we all slept comfortably in their king size bed. We would absolutely love to return!
AJ is an easygoing and communicative person who makes everything easy, I could understand how to care and feed correctly the pets and have fun walking with Maisy who is a lovely and fun dog, I am glad of had the opportunity of spend some days caring her beautiful house and pets.
Narelle was such a wonderful host! His French pug Jack is a very nice dog, very friendly, cute and so good educated. We spent an amazing time at Narelle’s home. Thank you so much for having us, share with us all your tips about New Zealand and your kind hospitality. An amazing meeting we will never forget and will always come back to see you again when we are around Auckland 🥰🇳🇿🐕
Unfortunately, I was not able to sit for Jillian and her lovely cats. At the last moment, there was a family emergency and Jillian had to cancel. Jillian was very apologetic and concerned about how I would make other travel plans and where I would stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. Life HAPPENS! Sometimes things just do not work out as planned. Other arrangements were made, and all worked out for me. Still praying that Jillian and her family get through this challenging time. Trisha
We simply had the loveliest experience. We were not expecting the degree of rapport, warmth, and friendliness that we had with Maggie and Robbie, and of course Phoenix and Briar, who were both sweet and easy to care for. The house itself being straw bale is very cool and interesting, spacious, warm, comfortable, artistic, and beautiful. They truly have the coolest windows opening to very scenic views of rolling meadows and the Allegheny’s. We loved the morning walks around the trails and community with Briar and Phoenix and everyone we met was very kind and welcoming. So many special nooks and crannies to meditate, create, work, relax, and hang out with the pups. We were particularly fond of the living roof with incredible views, the front porch rocking chair, the garden, and the cool screened in back porch! It’s very apparent that Maggie and Robbie put an abundance of love and energy into this space and we feel a lot of gratitude to have shared it’s bounty and creative quality. We are very happy to have made four new friends and would return in a heart beat. Could not recommend this place more. So much appreciation! Leo & Josie
