Cam and Hex were fantastic company during my 2-week stay in Woodford and it was a little bit hard to say goodbye at the end of it. Nicola was a superb host and made me feel completely relaxed and prepared for any eventuality. The house is very comfortable and spacious, particularly for one person; the kitchen/dining room is a particularly nice space to be in, with a view over the garden and the kettle within easy reach! Both cats tended to spread out on whatever newspaper I had out on the table, so reading was sometimes a challenge, but I didn’t mind too much. Playing with Cam on the stairs was always fun; she likes to try and grab you through the banisters, and Hex was big into lap-time and very cuddly. Sincere thanks for a brilliant sit.
We house sat for Elaine and Ronnie for approximately six weeks over Feb/March (our sit was cut short due to the pandemic situation) and we loved every minute! Elaine and Ronnie talked us through everything before they left and left us with a detailed manual of instructions regarding the house and cats, which was extremely helpful! Molly and Max are two of the sweetest, most delightful cats you will ever meet, and we were very sad to have to say goodbye to them! The house is a 15 minute or so walk from the town of Godalming, which is a lovely market town with lots of interesting shops and cafes. The house itself is lovely and extremely spacious; we very much appreciated being able to have an office each for working! In three years or so of house sitting, this sit was up there as one of our favourites! Fantastic hosts, lovely animals, great location. Couldn't have asked for more! p.s. Sorry for the late review!
Leo and Milo are adorable. They come from a much loved home. Super friendly and chilled. They love people contact. Full of character and quite entertaining. Quite interesting to watch as they seem to have that sibling bond which comes out in a mischievous way. Shanelle and Jordon were very welcoming and easy going. The sit was straight forward and well explained. Location is tops. Great area to explore for a local or tourist. Easy walk to Robson Street. Stanley Park is at their doorstep. Love the Coal Harbour walk to Downtown. Stumbled upon new places I wouldn't have known about. The views from the apartment are stunning. Overall an excellent sit. Thanks guys for trusting me with your loved ones. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fanny and her kids were super sweet with me. I arrived very late, the day before they left, due to a delay in my bus. So Fanny had to wait up for me to let me in, which I appreciated a lot. Before I left, they made sure I had everything I needed. Kitty is a sweetheart. As long as she gets regular ear and belly rubs she's as happy as can be. The location is green and quiet, directly located on Bedok Reservoir with its big lake and recreational park. However, there are shops, supermarkets and eateries right in front of the door. And the MRT station is a short walk so you can be in the city in 30 minutes. Overall, I had a great experience sitting for Fanny and I would definitely recommend her for other sitters.
One of my most favourite sits so far. Lauran was super lovely and welcoming. Lauran and Dom have a lovely home, great location, so easy to get around and lots to discover and quick bus ride to city. My room was lovely and cosy, and very comfortable bed. Now what can I say about little Lizzy! What an absolute sweetheart. She is a sweet natured, loving little girl who is still pretty spritely as an 11 year old. She can be cheeky too and cracked me up with her antics. She is a total gem and I just love her. Loved every minute of my stay here. Thanks Lauran, Dom and Miss Lizzy!
Lovely home on a wonderful street for walking. The home was very clean and large. I very comfortable setting. Halo was so sweet to have around. He's a very obedient and relaxed dog. We definitely had a good time.
