Jerry showed up the night before our scheduled sit so he could get to know us and our fur babies. Our Jemma girl took to Jerry right away ,Evee and Ms. Kitty took alittle longer. Jerry sent pictures everyday and kept me posted of all that was going on . We came back to a clean house and happy fur babies. To us Jerry was a perfect fit to take care of our home and pets. He is like a friend you didn't knowe you had till you met him . He truely cares and loves animals and it shows. We highly recommend him and we would definitely have him sit for us again.
This was my first THS sit, so if this is what it's like to be a house sitter, I'm in for a treat! Boni and Kim welcomed me into their home with warmth; I felt at ease from the start. Before his departure, Kim even took me for a quick drive through Auburn to show me around the cute, quaint downtown and oldtown areas. Boni’s tour through the home left no stone unturned. They left me with detailed instructions for every possible mishap that might arise, which came in handy when the smoke detector in my bedroom started chirping. After consulting the thorough instructions, I followed the directions and easily fixed the problem. Crisis averted thanks to Kim and Boni’s detailed instructions! We communicated well, and I felt supported throughout my stay. To say that Boni and Kim have a beautiful home is an understatement. It’s more like Sunset Magazine meets the Guggenheim. Somehow, they’ve struck that impossible balance between comfort and elegance, merging sleek design with an inviting warmth that feels like an artistic retreat. The home’s vibe exudes love, kindness, and respect – characteristics that radiate from the home’s most outstanding features: Milo and Kitty. I saved the best part for last: Kitty and Milo, doodles extraordinaire. First, I’ll address the elephant in the room. Milo’s head. If you’re like me, you looked at Milo’s picture and thought, “That guy’s groomer gave him the Lion King cut!” However, we both were wrong because that’s Milo’s natural, genetic inner-do, and Milo has the personality to match—serious dog in the front, party in the back. I’m new to THS, but I’m not new to the canine world, and Kitty and Milo are some of the most loving, well-mannered, respectful dogs I’ve ever met. They listened when called and responded when I asked them to do the regular stuff dogs do. They played with their toys and somehow didn’t destroy anything in the house. They roughhoused in the backyard, running around endlessly, chasing a ball I’d throw that never really made it back to me, but it didn’t matter because it was more about the fun and less about the rules of the game. Most of all, they were always up for belly rubs and snuggles, Kitty in particular. In short, Kitty and Milo are perfect ambassadors for their species. Overall, this was a great experience. I would not hesitate to return should the opportunity arise. The hardest part was saying goodbye to Kitty and Milo. These two adorable dogs became my friends during my short stay. Their presence turned a pleasant stay into an unforgettable memory, and I am forever grateful for them and Boni and Kim’s friendly hospitality.
