Ana-Luisa
Ana-Luisa was the perfect host! We met prior to the sit a couple of times so that Zara could get used to me and to explain exactly what was needed during the sit.

I felt very welcome and comfortable and knew I could get in touch with both Ana-Luisa or her friend in case of any problems.

Communication was great throughout and the apartment was beautiful - I very much enjoyed my stay with Zara and will really miss her!

Hope to see you both again :)

Janet
Janet was a fantastic host. Her apartment is sparkling clean, and everything is neatly organized. We always have a goal to leave a place nicer than we found it, but Janet set the bar high by having everything in tip top shape when we arrived. The apartment itself was bright and spacious with plenty of towels, blankets and pillows to accommodate our family. The kitchen is well-equipped and we cooked many meals there. There are a couple of desks that are set up well for remote work, including a screen, keyboard and mouse, which was super helpful for staying productive. Janet's apartment is also a game-lovers paradise; she has an entire bookshelf stacked with all kinds of board games - what a treasure! Janet was extremely gracious with accommodating our family's schedule, love for Legos and providing a spare bed for the kids. In the bedroom, the king-sized Tempur-Pedic sleeps like dream!

Juno is very sweet. After the initial excitement of meeting someone new, she was a bit shy at the beginning of the sit, but really warmed up to us after a couple of days. She loves to snuggle and likes to be petted. She will spend most of the day lounging on the bed but loves to go on a walk and will work her way into your heart for extra treats and attention. She will stare longingly at you while you eat but does not beg or try to steal anything from you. She is respectful of your shoes and anything you leave lying about by not chewing on anything other than her toys. And she is great with children, never nipping nor showing any sign of aggression toward them at all - we felt 100% safe around her. Note that she does bark at other dogs and will pull strongly on the lead when near them, but the apartment complex is quite large and there is usually no problem in finding a place to go that is away from other dog walkers. She can go up to 8 hours without going outside, which allows plenty of time to get out and explore the area during a sit. (We recommend the Milwaukee Public Museum and the Chicago Botanical Gardens, which are both a short drive from the apartment.) We were sad to say goodbye to Juno at the end of our sit but were thankful for the good time we had with her.

Janet and Juno make for a great sit and we highly recommend them if you have the opportunity!

Gill
I really enjoyed my stay at Gill and Dom’s. They have a spacious and beautifully decorated home. The house is in walking distance of vibrant downtown Edmonds and sweet Scruffy was ready to accompany me! The house was great, the hot tub was great and who wouldn’t love ❤️ Scruffy!
I would definitely recommend this house sit.

Dave
We loved sitting with Maya, even though it was just a short stay. She is a sweet old girl who loves her walks, despite her blindness. Dave was easy to communicate with and always responded right away to any queries. And we were lucky enough to get some delicious tomatoes and greens from the backyard garden! Plus, the house is so close to great parks along the Mississippi River--it's really a lovely place to spend a few days. We felt lucky to have been chosen for the sit, despite our coming from so far away.
