Scarlett is a real sweet dog. She loves short walks and spending time with us at home. I met up with Stan & Ella the day prior to starting the sit. We went through everything, Ella had everything printed off from the Welcome pack. Their home is really lovely, has a big kitchen and huge back garden. The local town is a 15 min drive for supplies. Ella was easy to communicate with and responded within a quick time frame.
We had a great time with Hendo the dog while Rachel and Steve were away. Morning and evening walks in the wonderful nearby parks were idyllic. Most of the cafés and bars are dog (and human) friendly. Heaton has a great high street and has excellent transport links by bus and metro (though it's a bit of a schlep to the stations). Newcastle and nearby areas have so much going on. Excellent.
Alice has been very attentive to us, she looked for us at the station near her house and she paid for the taxi herself, the house is very nice and clean, Cinders and Kiwi are not used to being with new people but you just have to give them their time and space and they will approach by themselves, they are two sweet kittens, we really enjoyed our stay in Swindon, we hope to be able to take care of her again another time
A wonderful house to stay in with very easy to care for cat. Easy and quick communication with Kelly. Our guest area was super comfy and the living areas expansive. Wonderful family and great neighborhood to stay in. We’d go back!
This was one of our nicest sit so far. We arrived the evening before Mike and Claire left and had a nice evening with Thai food and interesting talks. Unfortunately we where a little tired from travelling so we went to bed early. Acer and Truffle are the best and most adorable dogs. It's a bless to see them running around in the fields, chasing any traces and looking for golf balls. They are well behaved and easy to walk. It's nice that both can walk without leads and directly come back to you when you whistle or call their names. There are a lot of beautiful walkways around the house and we could decide every day if we wanted to make a short round or go for hours. In the evening Acer and Truffle like to sleep besides us on the sofa, when we read oder watched tv. Claire's and Mike's house is very comfortable. We cooked with the Aga, which was really nice. The lounge is very comfortable and we could spend a lot of relaxing time on the sofa. It's very calm and tranquil. We would love to come back to share more time with Acer and Truffle. And it would be nice to have more talks with Claire and Maik and learn more about the wonderful old house and the surroundings.
Had a lovely sit looking after Nalah in Amandas beautiful Emeryvile apartment. Nalah is beautiful gentle natured cat and took a day or so to warm up to us. Amanda was great on communication regarding all things about the apartment and Nalah. Would happily sit again
