Hands down, I would love to have Jamie over again! Based on her updates, I could tell what a great time she was having and feel the genuine love she gave my cats. It gave me FOMO while I was on vacation! haha. Jamie is super responsible, communicative, and full of personality. Thank you so much, Jamie!
Meagan & David were gems. The pups loved them! They are so sweet, we had great communication, they are neat & tidy, they sent lots of updates & pictures, and we'd definitely ask them to come again. We never once worried about the pups because all the pictures showed them either chilling out (their favorite thing to do), or looking at Meagan & David lovingly. We highly recommend them!!
We had a lovely 2 month sit for Brian and his two JR. The house is very roomy and comfortable and easy to maintain. The two dogs were fun to be around and easy to look after, allowing time to explore the local area. There are plenty of walks for the dogs nearby as well as things to see for you. Local shops and public transport are closeby. Recommend the sit.
We had a great time in Perth! I arrived in the evening and had the pleasure to have dinner with Karen’s family. I felt very welcomed from the first moment thanks to their hospitality. In the next morning Karen and George explained me all about the dogs and the chickens. The dogs are very good behaved, full of energy and really sweet! We enjoyed a lot our walks with them in the forest. The chickens are very easy to take care of and we had the pleasure to have some fresh eggs for breakfast:) We enjoyed the beautiful house and the area around it. I completely recommend this sit!!
Niamh and Marc's family home is set in a stunning rural location. Their dogs Roxy and Bingo were easy to understand and navigate as you left us great instructions and it helped having a video call before too. Roxy is older and knows all the rules at home and when outside or on walks, and was just a dream to be around, she loves all the cuddles you could possibly wish to shower on her, and is uber loving in return, in a gentle way. Bingo being so young was a joyful bundle of excitement and energy, who is very attentive to commands but cannot yet be fully trusted (as with all young animals) so was on the lead always for walks. Bingo loves cuddles once he's exhausted haha, and when he's out on walks too, if in his enclosure he's only interested in fetch, and just loves it. Both dogs brought us into their trust straight away. Llewllyn's favourite was Bingo (although I think Bingo out did Llewellyn with his energy by a small margin unless playing fetch!) They have a small enclosed grass field too which enables them easy outdoor time during the day. Niamh and Marc's instructions were self explanatory and easy. The cats Shadow and Frieda took 24-48hr to realise we were caring for them as they were a little more shy, but once they understood we were staying they shmoozed us daily. They were very independent as cats are and totally low maintenance. The chickens were easy too, (we have chickens) they are free range in the day and often put themselves to bed as chickens do! The veggie garden needed water as did some of the pot plants indoor & out. - easy. There is a pool to enjoy in summer, and maintaince of it is easy and straight forward. Niamh's property is 5 min drive from a tiny village with a few shops and 15 min from a number of larger towns with all necessary facilities and sights. A pure delight to see the area, somewhere we'd never seen and stay in the tranquility of the beautiful home and stunning rural property. We'd love to sit again if you ever go away! It's always nice to see pets again.
I had a delightful experience taking care of Mr. Bean, a cheerful and affectionate dog who is very easy going and friendly. Marj was an exceptional host; she provided me with a warm welcome by picking me up from the airport and extended a dinner invitation. She also excelled in communication, offering precise instructions for Mr. Bean's care. The living space was remarkable for its abundant natural light, spaciousness, cleanliness, highlighted by a gorgeous terrace that offered a panoramic view of the bay. The neighborhood is conveniently populated with a variety of dining options, supermarkets—including a Trader Joe's—and a diverse selection of stores, all within easy walking distance. The beach was just a trolley ride or a leisurely walk away! I recommend this sit, and I am grateful for the opportunity. Thank you Marj!
My time in Denver was amazing and to top it off, I got a chance to spend time with Oscar, Freddie, and Dexter. Bill and Keith invited me to visit early for introductions and to show me their routine, which was very helpful. They have a nice home, I fell in love with all the art, the nearby park (path to run/walk and the botanical gardens), and grocery store and eateries nearby. The dogs enjoyed when I tossed their toy and they would run/catch, play with one another, and take in a few naps throughout the day. Thanks for the memories.
