He lived literally ONE mile away from me. This made it easy to meet in advance of the sit and go over details. During this process, he told me he would have to leave soon. This gave me the impression it was a lower priority for him. Being 1 mile away, however brought up some things I hadn't experienced with sitters from out of town. He wanted to know if it was ok to have friends over to my apt. My cat is very shy and timid around strangers and I told him no. He wanted to cook in my kitchen. It was left very messy. 3 cupboard doors left open, food stains on the stove, counter and fridge. Pots, pans and utensils, he used were not put away. For a person who lives one mile away, these are both things I would have thought could have just as easily been done in his own space. Why did he need to use mine and leave it in this condition? He didn't clean out the cat brush, not sure if this was to prove he had brushed my cat. He left the litter scoop IN the litter box. An amateur move, this would make many cats NOT use the litter box. In the past my cat has stopped using the litter box for similar reasons. She is older and relies on steps to climb onto furniture to sit with me or to sleep with me. Cats, creatures of habit, are upset with changes and one of her steps was moved. She's old, the equivalent of a 90 yr old grandma who depends on these things being there for her in the same place. Without telling me he locked the chain on my front door from inside the apt. So I was unable to enter my apt from the front door. After a long trip home, after getting to my front door I discovered, I had to use the back door. Had he just mentioned that in advance it would have been nice. I left my keys in a lockbox and the lockbox was not returned to inside the apt like I asked. The management company has asked us NOT to leave those out. My internet device was left plugged in, I had asked in person and in writing, it be unplugged when not in use. I had asked that bedding not be removed from my bed, I prefer to do that myself as the bed frame is susceptible to easily being damaged. The bedding was left in a pile on the floor with a damp towel at the bottom of that pile. Personally I was taught, if you use something belonging to someone else, including their personal space, to return it to the same or better condition you found it. In my opinion, this was not done for my space and my things. Petcare felt to me, as if it was less than the top priority and that Andy is not very experienced with pet care. Overall, I was unhappy with Andy's care of my pet and my space.

Penni
I recently had the pleasure of house and pet sitting at Penni's house in Richmond, and it was truly a memorable experience. Honey, Mandeville and Wenlock, brought a lot of joy to the days with their unique personalities – whether it was going for walks or enjoying cuddle time. The house was cozy and well-equipped, nestled in a charming part of London, and the family's warmth and kindness made the stay even more delightful. This was a perfect combination of furry companionship, comfort, and a great location that I thoroughly enjoyed :)

Nicky
I had a lovely time looking after Rafael and Gaby. As expected, Rafael was more than happy to keep to himself, though I did manage to get a few strokes in here and there. Gaby was a completely different dog, loving as much attention as she could get. She was an easy walk, great with other dogs and people! Nicky herself was incredibly friendly and gave me all the information I could need for a comfortable sit. All in all great sit!

Kathleen
Kathy is a fabulous host, lots of chat and energy, and so generous and welcoming.
Kathy and Andrew’s home is very warm, comfortable, and just gorgeous.
A walk up the hill 5 mins into the village, and a dog walk right at the bottom of the garden.
Teddy a typical lab was loving and comical. Charlie also loved attention, but more sedate with age, both lovely temperaments, and very easy to look after.
Definitely recommend, I might even cancel a holiday to go back.
Thank you so much for a great sit.

Sigrún
Thank you so much Sigrún for choosing us to cat-sit Esmeraldo and Gabriel. We loved them so much and cherished every second we spent with them. Esmeraldo welcomed us straight away and was very friendly, Gabriel took some time to warm up to us but was very curious and kept coming to where we were to check what we were up to! They both were very gentle with each other and you can tell they love it there! Sigrún's apartment was very cozy and had amazing views! It's in a very quiet area and close to the center of the city, so we were able to do lots of exploring! Hope to see you all again in the future, we wish you the very best!

Sean and Columbia
We got lucky with our first professional pet/housesitting job. Sean and Columbia are great people, their dogs are adorable and a lot of fun, and their home is lovely. It is situated off the beaten path in a quiet rural area of Ireland near beautiful Port Arthur beach.

Samantha
It was so fun and relaxing caring for Summer! She's a super sweet dog and very well behaved. Jon & Samantha were very responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean with super cute, modern decor and a perfectly sized pool. Close to a lot of good restaurants as well!
