We were so very lucky to find this house sit. We have been full time house sitting since May 2018 in Canada/USA, the UK, France, Germany, Ireland and back in the UK. We planned to head back to Australia in July 2020 but events happened and we cut our journey short. This sit was the last one we completed in the UK as it turned out and was a last minute sit replacing one that had fallen through due to the corona virus. We briefly met Jane and Rob before they left and again when they arrived home - fantastic people. Their home was comfy, clean and we enjoyed our stay. Reggie and Twiggy were adorable - we took them for walks in the field off lead and they were well behaved. They also walked to Marnhull on the lead and they were excellent. Willow was a treasure - sitting with and on us in the mornings while we had breakfast. The sheep and poultry are easy to look after. We wished our stay could have been longer. This is a 10 star sit because of because of Jane and Rob and their pets. Jane and Rob are very generous and they helped us out of a huge hole when all our house sits after their sit fell through. A big thumbs up to their daughter Becky - we did not meet her but she did us a huge favour. Jane, Rob and all their family are welcome to Australia to visit us anytime. Highly recommended sit and you will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to look after Reggie, Twiggy and Willow.
We had a lovely sit in Newick, such a beautiful part of the country. Elspeth is very organised & was very easy to communicate with & gave us good instructions. Her home is is very neat & tidy & also very welcoming. Both the dogs & the cats are very loveable & we enjoyed all our walks with Rupert & Fabia. I would highly recommend a sit for Elspeth to anyone.
We had a lovely time looking after Elektra. She's so sweet and loving. Super easy to look after. The house in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the station and then just a few stops to the heart of London.
We really enjoyed sitting for Sam. Rosie and Rodney were good company and very sweet with each other, and have boundless energy and enthusiasm on walks round the farm. The geese and hens were easy to do, and nice to watch. Our bedroom was super-comfortable, we enjoyed the huge log fire, and it was great to be near the coast, Minsmere, and a beautiful, peaceful estuary. Sam was lovely to chat to, was easy-going, yet made sure we had all the info we needed to look after the animals. Highly recommended!
Maggie and Richard are truly lovely and their home is a wonderful space of calm in bustling West London. Maisie is such a gorgeous cat and I loved looking after and spoiling her. I'd come back any time!
We had such a great time at Carly’s beautiful home. They are a such a sweet family! I had all the necessary information, including emergency contact. The location is safe, close to several businesses like restaurants, shoppings and other stores. Twinkie and Sophie are sooo friendly and won us over at first sight! Maple is fun, and very independent. Love spending time in the backyard but also likes staying around us. It is a great place to stay in LA and great pets to sit ❤️.
