Julia has a beautiful home with the coolest bath I’ve ever seen! I felt like I was at a spa! Penny was lovely dog to look after. As a young pups she had a her normal half an hour of zoomies but soon settled down and loved nothing more than being cuddled up next to you.
What an incredible sit. Jeni & Hamish were thorough, relaxed and incredibly easy to get on with from beginning to end. Jeni collected us from the train station and had a meal prepared for us when we arrived. The home is incredibly easy to look after and the gardeners kept us right with caring for the plants throughout the peak of summer. The cats are absolute darlings. They are laid back older cats, very well behaved and sweet natured. Spending summer by the river was a real treat and the area is wonderful if you enjoy being a little off the beaten path, walks in nature and wild swimming! The Red Lion do a fantastic coffee and we enjoyed riding to Brushh and Sticks & Stones for a coffee and cake as well! Plenty to do for active country loving people! We would be back in a heart-beat! Thank you Jeni & Hamish x
Julia and David are amazing people. They’re clear, honest and lovely people. I’m grateful I was able to get to know them both before they left and after they got back from their trip. The home is lovely, and their pets have the funniest personalities. They showed me around the area, lent me their car and went above and beyond in my opinion. I cannot recommend them enough if they decide on doing this again. From my understanding it was a once off, so I am grateful that I was able to meet them and their dogs.
Chip (dog) was a joy to take care of. I had my dog with me and they got along just fine. Nice, large, fenced in area out front for dogs to roam and hang. Nice view of the surrounding farmlands. There are no sidewalks, but neighborhood roads have very limited traffic and fine to walk with the dogs with grassy areas on side of road. Ashes (cat) minds her own business and doesn't interact that much as long as you feed her on schedule. Litter boxes are in basement area, and very easy to clean. Kathleen and Dave are very nice and have a lovely house.
We had the pleasure of pet sitting for Missy, an absolutely adorable and affectionate cat. Missy made us feel right at home with her purrs and desire to sit with us. Ben was fantastic with communication. We had everything we needed prior to the stay and was responsive when we asked questions during the day. The house was lovely to stay in too. We would be gladly do it again!
This was an amazing stay, the house is in a perfect area. Connor and Samantha were very welcoming and sweet. Kai and Kyubi were very easy to take care, and it was a pleasure taking care of them. Would definitely come back!
