Dog Sitters in Machias, WA

Nancy did a wonderful job taking care of our home and two cats during a week-long stay in August 2024.  We have a diabetic cat named Choumie who requires twice daily blood testing and insulin injections. Nancy learned the process like a professional, recorded his values daily, and communicated the status of Choumie's insulin and glucose readings via WhatsApp punctually each day. The process can be overwhelming for new sitters but Nancy mastered it with ease. Nancy is a concise communicator and a great guest. She watered our plants regularly, ensured the house was spotless upon our return, and was genuinely affectionate with both our kitties. We would welcome Nancy back any time and genuinely appreciate all of her hard work during our vacation.  Thanks Nancy! Choumie and Frank miss you.

This was the second time we had Kay sit for us. She is kind, caring, reliable and neat and tidy. Our cats were happy to see her. Our dog had a hard time with the transition and gave her a hard time at first. She was communicative and dealt with the difficulty with ease and she was quick to win him over! We would gladly have Kay sit for us again.

Lauren was really great with our pets and we came home to happy pets and a tidy house! Would work with Lauren again!

Our dog, Teddy, took an instant liking to Megan. He likes lots of attention and she gave him lots. Teddy has an injured foot, which was spitted. Megan took Teddy to our Vet for his checkup. We felt very comfortable leaving Teddy in her care.

Lucinda was perfection. We were out of internet and cell phone range for most of our 3 week trip, so we needed a SUPER trusty house and pet sitter who would be self-sufficient. Lucinda fit the bill completely. She even dealt with an unexpected health issue with our dog, taking her to the vet while we were unavailable. We would absolutely recommend her, and hope to have her back.

I left my dog and house in very safe hands with Tore and Brielle. Such a lovely couple - friendly and dependable and would thoroughly recommend them to others.

What an amazing blessing to have stumbled across Sharon in our first experience with zeewoi. Her profile offers only a glimpse of the exceptional attributes of the woman that might be caring for your home and pets. Since Sharon is relatively local to our area, we were able to invite her and her husband out for an advance dinner prior to our departure to familiarize our home and introduce her to Ozzy. Sharon was clearly comfortable and confident about the upcoming stay and Ozzy was clearly taken with her from the moment they met. We had a short series of communications throughout the entire process and Sharon was easily available and responsive each time. During our trip, we received pictures and short videos of our Ozzy and we know him well enough to clearly see that he was smiling side to side. He truly felt we left him with a staycation spa experience. Now that we have had such a positive experience, we feel free to travel more knowing that zeewoi will help us to discover and meet exceptional interesting and adventurous persons who would enjoy stepping into our home and lifestyle while we explore the world. Most important is having the peace of mind that Ozzy is being loved and cared for while we are away. I highly encourage you to take up Sharon on any offer she may place to sit for you. We are so incredibly grateful to have met someone who we can trust with all that is most dear in our lives. Amazing!!!

Superlatives are inadequate to fully describe the level of care Jeanne and Anna provided to our home and two pets during their lengthy (one month) sit in our home. Their preparation began well before they arrived, first by reading and reviewing the Quick Reference Guide and House Sitting Manual, then followed up by contacting us to clear up questions that arose from their review. They arrived at our home the day prior to our departure, towing their camping trailer behind them, which they stayed in for the first night while we finished our departure preparations, allowing us plenty of time and space to prepare and conduct a thorough handover. Jeanne, whose strongest expertise is with cats, assumed primary responsibility for the care and feeding of our cat Chicha, while Anna assumed responsibility for our dog Pepe, performing meal preparation and taking him for a walk around our neighborhood. While we were gone, both Jeanne and Anna sent us regular updates via WhatApp, some with accompanying photos and videos, enriching our travel experience while comforting us in the knowledge that are pets were happy and well cared for while presenting clear evidence that each of them had developed close relationships with their charges. As luck would have it, a problem with our irrigation system arose in the form of a zone valve that failed and could not be closed by the controller, compounded with a shutoff valve that refused to shut off. They immediately let us know of the problem, referred to the manual to address the issue, and followed up with our gardener to perform the repairs. They performed above and beyond what could be expected from most house sitters. Before we arrived home, Jeanne and Anna washed their sheets and towels, made up our guest room (which we don't require), and fully tidied up our home in preparation for our arrival. Among all the house sitters we have entrusted in our 5+ years of zeewoi membership, Jeanne and Anna have justly earned their spot on the top of the list of those we'll call when we need another.

Oto and Daiane were absolutely brilliant. We really couldnt of asked for for better house sitter and animal lovers! There are not enough words to explain how good they were so do contact us if you want further info! We would have them every time if we could!! Tidy, loving, great at keeping in touch and just fab!! 🙌

Madlin was great! She was always happy to help us out with anything we asked of her. Our cats were well taken care of and were healthy and happy on our return. We're sure she do an equally fantastic job for anyone on Zeewoi looking for a reliable and easy-to-work-with person to look after their own house and pets. Thanks, Madlin!

Karen could not have been more helpful and flexible with my sit. She went out of her way to make arrival and departure arrangements. Her communication was excellent and I felt immediately comfortable in welcoming she and Ryan into my home. Most of all I appreciated the amazing wonderful attention and care they gave to Rusty. I am grateful for all that they did to make my trip away carefree.

Maggie was again superb in caring for our cats and our home. She provided regular updates and our cats LOVE her. She really had fun with them. I highly recommend her to care first anyone’s pets and home.
